The hivemind is conquering for me?

”First of all, show of hands, who can enter their Mindspace already?” Duvile asked and scanned the room. Only a quarter of us raised our hands, prompting her to shake her head. ”Not enough... Fine. Today I will be using my power to help you out, but from next class, if you haven’t been able to access your Mindspace, you fail and are gone.”

Those that kept their hands down became nervous hearing this, but Duvile gave them no time to think about it. ” The Psionic plane. You should have been told a small bit about it in your beginner classes earlier today. But if not, in very simple terms. It is a dimension of reality that coexists with ours and is always around us. It takes a great deal of effort to be able to sense the Psionic plane, but with meditation, we allow ourselves to become free of certain distractions of our real space and are able to see, feel and enter it. I say enter, but that is a false term. The truth is, as Psionic individuals, a part of yourself is always in the Psionic plane, your Mindspace.”

A student raised her hand and proceeded to ask. ”But I was told our Mindspace exists inside our heads? Is that not true?”

Duvile sighed. ”In order for one Psionic entity to attack another Psionic entity’s Mindspace, you do usually need to aim for their head with your power yes, but think of it as it being the path to your Mindspace within the psionic plane. Not that your Mindspace is inside of your head. Trust me, if it was in your head, as you become more powerful and your Mindspace grows, your head would explode.”

I agreed wholeheartedly with that observation, with the size of my Mindspace, if it was actually in my own head. I would be long gone. Well, pretty much everyone would be as the brain would be smushed.

”Now, to get onto the main topic of aura projection and plane walking. Inside of your Mindspace, you have your avatar. You. The visage you take on within the Psionic plane to help alleviate the confusion you would otherwise have being a large collective of Psionic energy. With Aura projection. What we do is we leave the safety of our Mindspace’s, becoming vulnerable and we then take in the raw Psionic energy of the Psionic plane into us for as long as we can. During this time, you will see an aura begin to form around you, which in turn attracts ’stronger’ Psionic energy for you to use. In essence, this is a ticket to make your Psionics Purer and stronger.”

I frowned hearing this and raised my hand. When Duvile pointed at me, I asked. ”I’m sorry, but this sounds incredibly reckless. Creating an aura of Psionic energy around us in the vast open plane? That sounds like an invitation for entities that exist within the plane to come and swarm us. We know that they cannot get through barriers as they are quasi built from our reality as well, due to them being manifestations of our Psionic existence connected to our body, but out in the open? You don’t know what’s out there. Waiting. I trust you have contingencies for such an event?”

Duvile smiled for a moment. ”Ah, I have a student with a head on their shoulders? Good to know. Yes, while usually that is exactly what would happen, things or even rogue powerful Psionic users could come and attack us in our exposed state, it is at this point the other technique I will be teaching you comes into play. Plane walking.

Plane walking, despite its name suggesting a travel aid, is a technique that will conceal your Psionic aura from pulsating out across the vast plane. It won’t fully keep you hidden, but in real space terms of distance, especially since I will be casting it for you today, your aura won’t go further than the distance of this moon. And with the sheer Psionic might on the planet, basically blinding any would-be predators in the Psionic plane, we will be perfectly safe.”

My mouth slightly hung open hearing this. This ability sounded incredible. ’To be able to train outside of the Mindspace? In the raw stuff?’ I snapped out of it before I got a Psionic boner. This was a ticket to greater growth, after all, it was exactly what Jewel does. The majority fraction of her existence is tied directly into the Psionic plane. The lesser fraction is all of her sexy bodies scurrying around real space.

So if I was able to copy that capability even by a millionth of a degree... ’Jewel and I might be able to start having babies even sooner than I planned!’

...

Jewel just shuddered in unprecedented delight. Throughout the infinite, the impossible connection she had to her everything had just overwhelmed her with jubilance. Jewel wasn’t sure entirely what her mate was thinking about at that moment, but she knew he was thinking of her.

He was thinking something naughty, in the good way, Something she definitely wanted... Something they both wanted. If she was in her smaller mating body at this moment, there would be no doubt her bodily fluids would have started secreting, but she was occupied.

With the sheer delight rushing though her about whatever it was Apollo was thinking about, she turned her attention back to the few billion bodies she had set aside to help create Prime four her new body.

The Biomass loss in it’s creation was absurd. Nukumi and the leviathan would be back soon which would be some replenishment, but for now, she needed to hunt from all her galactic pools to fend off the starvation she was currently feeling.

Her attention then briefly turned towards the Galaxy Apollo was currently in... ’He won’t mind if I send only a couple hundred fleets, would he? It’s not like I will devour the galaxy whole with just that? I’d be keeping my promise to let him explore... It will only be a nibble at the edges still. Perhaps I send half around the galaxy on a slow approach and learn more about those clones? Yes, that might work, With the fleet so spread out. It will look even tinier than it already is! Yes that will work... And If I do get found out... I will let him mate my Psionic head... Let him fuck the silly out of his submissive mates mind. Yes... we hope he finds out how bad we are... We deserve his punishment...’

...

”Tssk!” I suddenly sucked my teeth as I felt a pain throbbing in my head. ”Apollo, are you ok?” Mithra whispered to me, while Janine grabbed my forearm. ”I am fine. Random head pain.” I reassured them, but in reality, The stick started jolting around agitated, making the black hole of absorption that kept it stable agitated. As such, my Mindspace felt very unstable for a moment.

”Cover me a sec.” I said and closed my eyes. Opening them, I was inside of my Mindspace. I made a key point of continuing to listen to the class while making my way over to the stick. As I approached, the black hole effect around it subsided. Parting way for me only for it to continue in that location as I passed.

Once reaching the stick, I grasped it gently and it immediately calmed down, my Mindspace lightened up again and I breathed a sigh of relief. ”It’s alright bud, we will find what made you agitated later. It’s probably just someone stealing my clothes again. But for now I need to concentrate. Behave.”

With that warning, I let go of the stick and opened my eyes. ”Oh, hello. I thought you stopped talking.” I said honestly as Miss Duvile was stood directly in front of me, looking me up and down. ”You can hear real space when inside your Mindspace?” she asked, not shocked, but curious.

”Mhm.” I hummed in agreement. ”And you entered almost instantly... Most interesting.” She then manifested a wooden ruler from nowhere and bonked me on the head with it. ”Pay attention and don’t enter your Mindspace in this class until I say so.”

Duvile then walked back to the front of the classroom and rather ironically after saying that to me, said. ”Ok, I think a physical demonstration of the power you will be learning is apparent. Everyone that is able, enter your Mindspace. Those that can’t I am going to shatter your Mindspace defences from the Psionic plane while you are meditating and suck you in with one of my powers. You will feel a horrendous headache from this action, but there will be no permanent damage.”

Duvile then walked to the corner of the classroom and sat in a small rocking chair, covered herself up with a nice plump blanket and wiggled herself into a comfy spot. ”You have an hour to enter your Mindspace before I begin popping barriers like a needle to a balloon, so best of luck.”

The smile she had on her face before her consciousness left her was sadistic and everyone began trying very hard to start beating their personal records. While those that never had been able started very hard to be able to do so.
