When the Long Spear Carrier reached the second step, Gu Xi had already shifted his gaze away.

All the purple long spears and spears were bought by Gu Xi himself.

He naturally understood the details of the long spears and spears.

At a glance, Gu Xi knew what choice the Equipment Carrier made.

Now that it’s already at the second step, there’s no need to keep watching.

His gaze returned to the Purple Robed Mage.

Of course, as Gu Xi’s gaze shifted, he glanced at the Wizard Players.

At this moment, the battle there was almost over.

The spells used by the wizard were all extremely simple ice magic.

Yet such simple spells were effortlessly wielded by the wizard.

The Holy Knight tried several times to overturn the situation by different means, but whenever he made a move, the wizard would know exactly what the Holy Knight intended to do, and he would simply raise a finger, swiftly freezing the Holy Knight’s body with frostbite.

Gu Xi only looked for a moment before realizing that this battlefield no longer needed his intervention.

So, Gu Xi directly turned his gaze to the Purple Robed Mage.

At this moment, the Purple Robed Mage was confronting the Vanguard Power - Shattering Array Carrier.

This Equipment Carrier was considered an early creation of Gu Xi, unlike the Long Spear Carrier that directly equipped twelve long spears to fight as they pleased.

The Vanguard Power - Shattering Array Carrier would immediately engage at close range.

Such an attack should have been quite smooth against a mage.

Yet the Purple Robed Mage’s response was rather peculiar.

He seemed to be a martial artist using spells, pulling out a purple thread with both hands, continuously forming various combinations in front of himself.

Sometimes he would form a round magic array, serving as a shield, and other times it would transform into a slender purple long whip, used as an attack weapon—even attempting to entangle the Equipment Carrier’s longsword.

He hadn’t even considered that perhaps the Equipment Carrier was a decoy, and the longsword was the true target.

As Gu Xi looked over, the Equipment Carrier’s longsword was already tightly entwined by the purple thread.

Rather than struggle, the Equipment Carrier released the longsword.

Due to the unexpected reaction of the Equipment Carrier, the Purple Robed Mage pulled the longsword closer to himself with force.

At that very moment, the longsword suddenly exploded, and countless sword fragments cut into the Purple Robed Mage’s body like a storm.

Shattering Strike.

This was the ultimate effect of the Vanguard Power - Shattering Array.

Upon the sword’s explosion, Gu Xi also saw the situation beneath the Purple Robed Mage.

It was a humanoid form woven out of countless purple threads.

Just as Gu Xi had predicted, this Purple Robed Mage was not a physical being but a part of a large magic array.

The Vanguard Power - Shattering Array had an additional trait, the ability to destroy magic arrays.

Of course, this was a hidden trait beneath all other attack effects.

On ordinary days, Gu Xi never imagined this move would come into play.

Yet unexpectedly against the Purple Robed Mage, this effect played a significant role.

The shattered sword fragments hit the Purple Robed Mage’s body, severing the purple threads composing his form.

Even some fragments flew over ten meters away, embedding into the ground.

Meanwhile, the battle with the Long Spear Carrier also concluded.

The archer, unable to dodge in the molten iron, fell short against the Equipment Carrier in terms of life, perishing in the molten iron before the carrier.

As he fell, the Equipment Carrier’s body, nearly melted away by the heat, turned to glance at the Purple Robed Mage.

He noticed that in front of the Purple Robed Mage, the Vanguard Power - Shattering Array Carrier had vanished.

Since the longsword had shattered, there was no longer any need for the Equipment Carrier’s existence.

Thus, the Long Spear Carrier raised his hand and delivered the final strike to the Purple Robed Mage.

Instantly, the Extreme Sunlight Carrier stood forward, shielding Gu Xi.

Then Gu Xi heard a loud boom.

The powerful explosion shockwave immediately lifted the surrounding ground.

Even standing behind Extreme Sunlight, Gu Xi felt the searing heat wave.

After the heat wave receded, Gu Xi noticed the position where the Purple Robed Mage stood had been blown into a large crater with a diameter of seven to eight meters.

The central point of the crater was the spot where the Purple Robed Mage once stood, but now there was nothing left.

At this moment, Gu Xi turned to glance at the area of the Wizard Players.

He found that the Wizard’s battle was also over.

After several rounds of attacks, the Holy Knight had turned into ice from the inside out.

Including the Holy Knight’s equipment and armor, everything had transformed into blue translucent ice crystals.

If Gu Xi hadn’t occasionally watched the battle, he might even suspect the Holy Knight had been replaced with this substance.

Seeing Gu Xi turn his head to look, the Wizard also addressed Gu Xi, saying, ”We need to leave quickly. Though we’re justified in this matter, mishandling it could bring trouble.”

”Alright.”

With quick thinking, Gu Xi flipped over and jumped onto the Holy Silver Evil Coffin.

Simultaneously, the Spirit Lamp Carrier immediately bestowed Gu Xi with a Mind Shield effect.

At least those sweeping gazes would not fall upon Gu Xi.

The Wizard’s expression changed slightly upon witnessing Gu Xi’s action.

In a blink, Gu Xi had vanished.

Though there are various methods to achieve this, it’s rare for such concealment to include mounts.

Moreover, from Gu Xi’s actions, it seemed he didn’t wish to leave alongside the Wizard.

Realizing this, the Wizard didn’t linger; he mounted the yak and swiftly chose a direction to leave.

Given the magnitude of the events, Gu Xi decided not to hide nearby in a tavern.

Gu Xi steered the Holy Silver Evil Coffin swiftly toward another area of Ancestor City.

He intended to hide out at the barracks.

After all, the barracks are open 24 hours.

Furthermore, many players gather at the barracks, so if anything happened in the city, no one would dare rush into the barracks.

Thus, the barracks would be relatively safer.

However, Gu Xi might have been overthinking.

At this moment, no one was paying attention to his whereabouts.

After Gu Xi and the Wizard Players departed, the intense explosion echoed from the hilltop of the library.

The explosion drew the attention of everyone nearby.

This made Gu Xi’s battle seem less conspicuous.

Additionally, it alerted the players camping below the library.

In the midst of chaotic disorganization, some players charged the library while others formed teams to escape.

Amidst the chaos, no one noticed the premature departure of Gu Xi and the Wizard Players.
