Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 1128: Chapter 1126: The Train to Ancestor City

After a round of exchanges, Gu Xi received eight different purple long spears.

These long spears really had all kinds of styles, from decent Eastern-style spears to Western cavalry spears, and even clearly indigenous stone spears.

As long as they’re long spears and spears, Gu Xi decided to take them all.

Adding the previous Silver Horn Spear and Phalanx Spear, Gu Xi now surprisingly held twelve spear-type weapons.

Such a haul left Gu Xi somewhat speechless.

Initially, he just wanted to try and see whether the weapon of the final equipment carrier could be used interchangeably.

It now appears it’s really not about whether the same type of weapon can be used interchangeably, but more about needing twelve long spears and how many hands he’d need to carry them all.

Aside from those long spear weapons, Gu Xi also received some other items.

For instance, a player took out a crafting blueprint for Gu Xi.

This is a crafting blueprint for blue armor of the long spear type.

Although Gu Xi needs to collect the materials himself, as long as there’s a blacksmith shop, and the blueprint is followed for crafting, blue armor can be mass-produced.

This point is definitely better than a single piece of purple armor.

Gu Xi just happens to be able to change the outfit for the Black Spear Camp, helping them enhance their combat power.

Additionally, there were formulas for making gun oil that can increase the attack power of long spears, which are all items Gu Xi could use with his subordinates.

Finding them not too expensive, Gu Xi bought them on the spot.

Anyway, some items are ones that Gu Xi could use at any time; being able to conduct small-scale exchanges and trades here is good enough.

Of course, other players also gained from this.

On the contrary, after Gu Xi took out the good stuff, they were also stimulated and brought out some excellent equipment that they originally intended to bring to the Ancestor City.

This way, they all ended up getting the good items they wanted.

The trades only stopped when the train was about to enter the station.

Su Jie said to several players: ”The train has arrived, let’s stop here. We can trade again next time we meet.”

”Okay, we all listen to the leader.”

”Sure, we can trade the next time there’s an opportunity!”

”Alright!”

Several players exchanged glances, satisfied with the haul they had gained. They packed up their belongings and made their way towards the station platform to board the train.

Upon reaching the platform, Gu Xi discovered that the train to Ancestor City was rather mysterious.

A normal train, no matter how long, only requires one platform.

But the train to Ancestor City was exceptional, with at least six different platforms to board.

Gu Xi boarded at the left-central platform, where he could see half of the train.

Upon seeing this train, the first feeling Gu Xi had was that this train is more than ten times larger than usual.

The enormous train engine was modeled after a very old-fashioned steam locomotive, though a regular steam locomotive stands about four meters tall and three meters wide.

But the current train station has a height of forty meters, and from the platform, only a small part of the train engine could be seen.

The carriage was similar, resembling a skyscraper being dragged by the train engine.

Upon getting onto the platform, several busy ticket inspectors quickly blocked Gu Xi’s way.

”Your seat is in carriage number 27 on the left. After boarding the train before it leaves, do not open the window, run around, or visit other carriages. Everything you want is in your carriage.

If there isn’t, speak with the attendant inside the train—do not wander off by yourself.”

Just as Gu Xi was about to ask why, he noticed numerous carts waiting nearby, stacked high with various goods.

Apparently, these were supplies heading to Ancestor City.

This train was clearly a passenger-and-freight vehicle, and to prevent passengers from threatening the goods, there was additional supervision on the passenger side.

Additionally, to keep players traveling to Ancestor City comfortable, the preparations inside the carriage were quite complete.

The train from Pei Xin City to Baiji City had three compartments in one carriage section.

Things were different now; the entire carriage number 27 on the left was all Gu Xi’s.

Upon entering the carriage, Gu Xi saw three female Ghosts waiting for him at the carriage door.

A heavy Undead Wind greeted him.

After a careful look, Gu Xi noticed that among the three female Ghosts, one wore a white evening gown as a Vampire, another wore a red wedding dress as a Zombie, and a third was dressed in modern work skirt style as a Ghost.

Though they were of different races, their heights were almost the same, and their figures and appearance styles were relatively uniform, fitting the style Gu Xi typically preferred.

Upon seeing Gu Xi, they all bowed their heads and greeted him before the Vampire flew over to him.

”Mr. Gu Xi, I will be your attendant for the next three-day, two-night journey. You can call me Lisa.

Let me introduce the situation of this carriage to you now.

We are currently in the living area.

The left side is the resting area, with a bedroom, bathroom, and toilet, as well as a small bar and TV room.

The right side is the activity area, with a swimming pool, study room, gym, game room, and chess room, offering various entertainment options.

Additionally, there’s a simple kitchen a bit further back from the living room, where we can freely cook some food or order from the dining car using the food delivery pipeline.

Since this carriage is fully enclosed, once you board, you won’t be able to leave for other places until we reach the station at Ancestor City.

So, Mr. Gu Xi, should we close the carriage now?

If we close it now, the next time it opens will be at the platform of Ancestor City.”

Gu Xi looked at the curtains drawn on the windows and asked, ”Once the train is moving, will the curtains be opened?”

”Yes, the curtains can be opened, but the windows themselves cannot be; they are only for viewing the outside.

However, there’s nothing much to see outside along this journey.

Normally, people are just dazed by the window, so usually, they are kept closed.”

Lisa explained to Gu Xi.

She then asked once more, ”Mr. Gu Xi, can we close the door now?”

”Close it. By the way, I’d like to rest first. Give me an empty room, one where I can’t be disturbed for a while.”

”Certainly, Mr. Gu Xi, please follow me.”

The Ghost behind Lisa immediately led Gu Xi to the room on the left, turning on the lights in the room, showing him the room setup.

Meanwhile, the remaining two quickly moved to the train door, reached out, shutting and locking it securely.
