Chapter 934: Chapter 741: King

In an instant, Akasaki suddenly slid and spun around, and saw the figure that had appeared behind him as if by teleportation.

That grinning, scarlet, feral face.

And the right hand already raised—along with the low, illusory drumbeat roaring out, it pulled back as if clutching an invisible shot put, then, aiming at his face, drove out with the force of a thousand jun!

Rather than calling it a fist, it was more like turning the whole arm into a heavy flail and hurling the knuckles straight at the enemy’s face!

—Drummer Backhand Punch!

Akasaki’s pupils shrank in an instant, but in that split-second flash of lightning, he neither slid back nor used his Stigma to dodge. Instead, he suddenly dropped his body low, ducked his head, and at the last possible moment brushed past Huai Shi’s fist to charge forward, the steel gauntlet at his waist clenching tight, sparks bursting.

Uppercut!

If this punch landed, even a concrete piling would shoot up into the sky like a meteor, soaring into the night, wouldn’t it?

A technique honed through countless battles, a flawless counter forged by a thousand temperings—and in this instant, it whiffed!

His motion froze in place, while Huai Shi had already withdrawn several meters away.

As if nothing at all had happened just now, and the two of them had simply swapped positions.

A cheerful smile.

The opponent’s Power really was far above his own—Boschke Madosh, who had piled almost all his Attribute points into Strength and Constitution, was indeed a wrecking machine that crushed steel and stone in unavoidable frontal battles. But in this kind of street encounter with no ring boundaries, his mobility just wasn’t enough...

More precisely, he didn’t have a Heavenly Inquiry Lineage Stigma built entirely around pushing the limits of bodily coordination, neural reflexes, and burst speed.

It was just a pity that the Overload State couldn’t last long.

”So, for you to be this hostile to me, it can’t be that I offended you somehow, right?” Huai Shi asked casually. ”If there’d been someone as strong as you at last night’s banquet, I definitely would’ve noticed. What exactly did I do to piss you off?”

”There’s no grudge between you and me.”

Akasaki answered indifferently, keeping his posture as he stepped closer, one step at a time. ”I just can’t stand someone being this shamelessly arrogant.”

”I honestly don’t feel like I’ve done anything over the line.”

Huai Shi laughed. ”But if there’s no grudge, that makes things easy—Akasaki, once you get Quiet Communications Electrone, what do you want to do with it?”

”What do you mean?” Akasaki halted coldly where he stood, his gaze sweeping over Huai Shi’s vitals, coiled to strike.

”I mean, if it’s just for making money, I can give it all to you. If it’s convenient, could you let me have Quiet Communications Electrone? Even just in name is fine, we can keep it as a secret between us, how about it?”

Huai Shi suggested excitedly, ”Cash? Real estate? Cars? Booze? Yachts? If you have any other demands, I can take care of them too. I’ve got a wide network—Lawrence can testify to that—even if it’s something money normally can’t buy. As long as it’s not too outrageous, I can help you get it.”

”Ahahaha, that’d be a waste.” Lawrence laughed loudly from the side. ”No matter how much money you give him, Akasaki would just blow it all on horse betting. Hahaha, might as well skip stones with it.”

Akasaki narrowed his eyes, his expression turning even colder. ”What kind of nonsense are you spouting?”

”I’m serious, Akasaki.”

Huai Shi stared into his opponent’s eyes, offering solemnly, ”Why don’t you seriously think it over?”

”You think you became a squad leader just by running your mouth?”

Akasaki sneered. ”I don’t see any need for what you’re suggesting, and I’m not interested in considering it. I simply—want to blow you to pieces!”

The thunderous boom of artillery erupted again. Akasaki’s steps crossed, and he shot forward over the ground like he was skating on ice, carving two scars into the pavement, while the straight punch he’d been charging up roared out.

But Huai Shi stepped back with it, letting the gale brush past his face, keeping himself perfectly ten centimeters outside Akasaki’s attack range, trying to evade—but it wasn’t that simple.

Because as he kept retreating, he knocked over the signboard of a nearby izakaya behind him, his movement pausing for an instant.

Chance!

Akasaki’s Source Burning flared, the illusory elephant’s trumpet burst out, Iron Fist Combo—perfect, seamless combinations smashed Huai Shi’s frame apart in an instant.

Then came the real killing blow—Right Hook Punch!

Roaring Outburst, hurricane howling.

Huai Shi was sent flying.

With that single punch, he was blasted a ridiculous distance, thrown sixty-one meters, straight out of the food street, and crashed onto an innocent sedan at the intersection.

A shrill alarm blared, smoke spreading.

As the storm gradually settled, Akasaki lowered his fist expressionlessly and looked away.

The outcome was decided.

Anyone hit by his Right Hook Punch—even a Same Level Sublimation specialized in defense—would have half their bones shattered and get shipped straight to the ICU.

”Nothing special...”

”It’s not over yet, Akasaki-kun.”

Lawrence sat cross-legged on a trash bin, sipping cheap beer with an amused half-smile, smacking his lips. ”You got tricked.”

Akasaki’s expression froze. He whipped his head around, looking behind him.

Right where Huai Shi had supposedly gotten hit, the bricks on the ground had silently turned to powder. And thinking back carefully now, the direction Huai Shi flew off in wasn’t even the direction of his own force.

In that instant, Huai Shi had used some unknown technique to shed most of the force, then ridden the impact to retreat with it... making him think he’d knocked the guy flying.
