Chapter 893: Chapter 714: Rock and Roll

Under Lawrence’s guidance, a luxury convoy emerged from the tunnel, winding swiftly towards Kyoto.

”So fast, are they rushing to the bathroom?”

Huai Shi looked down, scrutinizing their receding shapes, and picked up the walkie-talkie in his hand: ”The target has appeared, everyone get ready, let’s move.”

Saying so, he tossed the drone into the air and turned to instruct Shanxia behind him: ”I’ll leave the command to you.”

”Yes!”

With respect, Shanxia bent over and handed over the helmet with both hands: ”Wish you great fortune in battle!”

”I hope for more prosperity in fortune.”

Huai Shi reached for the helmet, secured it over his face.

The specially-made helmet, a burning red like flames, revealed curved horns from beneath its hardened visor, paired with menacing golden patterns surrounding it, resembling an evil ghost confined within a human body.

In the roar of the engine, Huai Shi twisted the throttle, his motorcycle let out a screeching sound, rushing away from the camera’s view.

Soon, it disappeared from the drone’s sight.

The drone, floating upwards, shifted in color, quietly disappearing into the air, with only the faint hum spreading in the sky above the mountain road.

.

.

In the center of the convoy, inside the elongated limousine, Sanship Longma irritably smoked a cigarette, scratching at his collar.

He showed none of the solemn demeanor of a religious leader in front of believers; as soon as he entered the car, he took off his shoes and discarded the cumbersome robe, revealing the floral shirt and gold chain beneath, twisting and turning in the seat like an old monkey.

”The Pope is overly cautious, is this really necessary?”

”There’s been a lot of tension lately, and something big is brewing up there. Moreover, didn’t the hybrids say they wouldn’t let this go quietly not long ago?”

One of the stern guards checking his firearm answered: ”To avoid any moves from those bastards, caution is necessary - actually, for safety, you should wear a bulletproof vest.”

”Wearing a bulletproof vest to meet the big shots, are we religious legal men or survivalists? It’s ridiculous.”

Sanship Longma sighed, looking at the guards inside the car: ”If something happens to you, what’s the use if I’m wearing a bulletproof vest... Want some?”

Skillfully rolling cigarette paper in his hand, he handed one over.

Guard, startled: ”No need, and... aren’t you attending the religious ceremony today?”

”It’s precisely because I’m going to preach that I need to get HIGH first.”

Sanship Longma clicked his tongue in awe, lit up the cigarette, took a deep inhale of the forbidden fragrance, his back twitching, his face turned crimson, his gaze became hallucinatory, his pupils dilating.

Fantasy and ethereal sounds resonated again by his ears, like heavenly music, thousands sang sacred hymns together. His soul, his so-called soul, freed from the physical constraints, floated upwards, drawn by a gentle force ascending, transcending earthly bonds, re-entering that hallucinatory and beautiful light dimension.

”So wonderful, compassionate love...”

He roamed under the tender gaze of the gods, reverently chanting sacred classics over and over, feeling the spiritual body purified and sublimated under the light of the Heavenly Kingdom.

The smoke rose.

His body gradually went limp, losing strength, breathing rapidly, leaning against the leather seat.

The diffused hollow pupils gazed into the void before him, smiling happily involuntarily.

The sound of celestial music became more distinct.

Closer, closer... finally...

Boom!

The sudden explosion jolted him awake from his dreamy stupor, raised his eyes bewilderedly, the ethereal music dissipated without a trace, shattered by the harsh noise.

Only a deep roar remained, like iron roaring aloud.

That was the thunderous noise of the engine.

Burning oil, spewing thick smoke, a heavy motorcycle suddenly flew from the mountain road, crossing road boundaries, galloping over the complex mountain body.

Rushing downward.

A black motorcycle broke through the bushes like a drop of ink rolling off a tilted sheet of paper, leaving behind a trail of brutally burning smoke that lingered long.

Only the high-pitched, piercing engine sound rapidly approaching.

Together with the knight atop the iron horse, descended from the sky!

”Nine, Nine, intercept it!” A guard inside the car picked up the walkie-talkie, warning: ”Everyone unlock your safety, if it dares come close, attack directly...”

Before finishing his sentence, gunfire rang out.

The rear window suddenly opened from the last car, and the guard inside reached out with a weapon, aiming at the knight speeding towards them from behind and pulled the trigger.

But Huai Shi twisted the throttle.

Instantly, the speed skyrocketed.

The heavy, bulky motorcycle suddenly moved with unbelievable agility, dodging left and right, deftly avoiding the shotgun’s firing range, instantly close at hand.

Looking down,

The instrument panel’s light reflected onto the red helmet, like the twisted face of an evil ghost, seemingly mocking with a sinister grin.

On the speeding motorcycle, the evil ghost raised its elbow, striking down upon a shocked face, followed by the sound of a watermelon smashing, crisp and clear.

The insides of the entire car stained a dark red.

And the shotgun slipped from its hold, tumbling in the air outside the car window, landing in the raised hand, gripped tightly.

The motorcycle accelerated!

Boom!

On the ridge ahead, a massive crash roared as the suddenly collapsing mountain rocks rolled down and crushed the lead vehicle, simultaneously blocking the road.

Immediately after, members of the Huaizhi Gang, who had been waiting among the bushes on both sides, emerged under Ueno’s guidance, wielding the long guns and short cannons of Yingzhou, intended to be kept from civilians, and pulled the trigger on the convoy.

The firefight began!

The lead car was smashed by boulders, causing the whole convoy to sharply decelerate, while the speed of the motorcycle knights remained unabated, rushing forward like the wind.

They nimbly dodged the gunfire from the windows, all the while adjusting their direction and speed, modulating the throttle, leaning their bodies, and weaving flexibly between the vehicles.

Holding a stolen shotgun backwards, wielding it like a baseball bat, they struck at any head daring to poke out.

Inside the middle limousine, Sanship Longma, immersed in a drug-induced daze, struggled to prop himself up, his neck twitching as he looked around bewildered.

Enchanted music and divine words lingering at his ears quickly faded, replaced by the intrusion of static and roaring noises, driving him to a frustrated screech without understanding what was happening.

Only hearing the roar of engines approaching, reverberating all around as if omnipresent.

In the hallucination, flames roared just outside the car, turning the entire world into a grim Hell. Burning knights rode steel-like skeleton giant horses, whistling as they galloped forward.

Treading on flesh and bones, they walked the dead wasteland.

But such hallucinations quickly dissipated under the stimulation of fear. He finally snapped out of it, hearing the low, rumbling hover outside the car window.

Adjusting the throttle, twist twice, release once, twist twice, release once.

The engine’s low rumble became like some eerie beat.

Thud-thud-bang, thud-thud-bang, thud-thud-bang!

”What is... that...”

With difficulty, he brought up his neck, not wiping away the drool at the corner of his mouth, peering out to spot the wild figure amidst the firelight outside the window.

Thud-thud-bang, thud-thud-bang, thud-thud-bang!

The low rumble seemed like an iron hammer pounding his skull, etching that frenzied rhythm into his brain.

The burning knight gleefully raised the shotgun in a reverse grip, singing joyfully to the blood-dyed stock.

”Mate, you’re just a loudmouthed kid, fooling around in the streets, hoping one day to become someone big—”

Boom!

Amid the roar, the motorcycle suddenly drifted, the heavy rear end crashing deep into a just-opened car door, crushing the post inside along with others into pieces.

The knight raised his head, lifting the microphone-like weapon, lamenting regretfully, ”You play a dirty game, so disgraceful, kicking the tin can all around!”

In that instant, he lifted his head, and through the blood-dyed visor, a pair of cold eyes gazed over, pointing towards his face through the car window:

”——Singing!”

Sing, sing out loud!

Thus, amid the roar, the ethereal music beside his ear turned into a wailing echo, drowned by that illusory roar of thousands. In the drug-induced hallucination, countless Evil Ghosts emerged from Hell, clinging to his ears, roaring hoarsely:

”——We will, we will, rock you!!!”

Deafening guitar sounds blasted from the motorcycle speakers. The terrifying and rebellious melody spread through Sanship Longma’s brain, squeezing his breath tight.

The car window shattered in an instant.

The guard within the car leaped out, his body expanding rapidly in mid-air, splitting the suit as four fierce wings unfurled, transforming his face into something uniquely venomous yet feminine and somber.

Rolling darkness spread, four wings with sharp edges spun in the wind, forming a massive blade wheel, sweeping towards the attacker as they lunged.

FlyYuan Devil!

On the distant mountaintop, Lawrence, who was smoking, raised his hand, readying to strike, but before he could assist, saw Huai Shi’s body leap suddenly from the motorcycle, narrowly dodging the blade wheel’s chop.

Yet, from beneath a burning car body, a hunched and grim figure suddenly sprang forward, agilely leaping through the air, flying towards Huai Shi mid-air.

NuE!

In mid-air, as Huai Shi fell to Earth, he lifted his head, the mask reflecting the grim face of the sublimator. Then, on the opposite side, they too saw the mocking smile pulling up at the corner of Huai Shi’s mouth behind the mask.

In his hand, the body of the shotgun suddenly lifted, aiming at that grim face.

The trigger pulled, iron rain flew, a flash of fire vanished, and both sides were flung back simultaneously.

Huai Shi landed, rolling nimbly, and when he stood again, he saw the motorcycle shredded and torn by the blade wheel, the speakers broken, leaving him with a sense of helplessness.

Once, he could have leaped with an Axe of Anger to cleave the wings, followed with a Thrust Attack by the Spear of Compassion to claim the opponent’s head, even using the Sword of Virtue to decapitate the NuE before landing.

Yet due to being too identifiable, all those skills were unusable.

Watching the pained, screaming NuE rise again from the ground.

He sighed, shaking his head, ”Have you ever heard of sumo wrestling?”

Raising his hand, he assumed a stance, disdainfully gesturing with his finger at the FlyYuan Devil ahead. With his frame subtly swelling, hot blood surged.

The Drummer and Yu Step combined, Overload State, activated.

The bout was about to begin!

The overlooked NuE roared angrily, charging from the side, only to see Huai Shi casually lift the shotgun, pulling the trigger again.

As the iron rain poured, the NuE was again flung back, letting out a furious, hideous roar.

You have no idea, stupid kid!

Huai Shi sneered; sumo wrestling was far from such an inconvenient thing!

This is —

——Shotgun Pusher!
