Chapter 875: Chapter 702: Magic Performance

And just like that, infiltrated?

As Huai Shi walked through the back door of Elsa’s Home, even he was a bit skeptical, let alone the two Green Day envoys peering from the far corner of the street in the car, exchanging glances.

Were it not for the monitor on Huai Zhisu still running, indicating that he was making his way deeper into the nightclub, they would’ve almost suspected he found an excuse and bolted.

”What to do?” The burly subordinate turned around in shock, seeking advice from the real person in charge, the envoy furiously spinning a pen in his hand.

The original plan was meant for them, but they’d been temporarily assigned this newcomer for the initiation task—after eliminating that guy from the Russian Federation, he’d be forced to oppose the Five Great Faction’s Extreme Path.

The task was inherently challenging, and they’d already prepared to assist at any moment.

But they didn’t expect Huaizhi to go suddenly silent and take on the task solo. What the hell? Could he have been swayed by the powerful opposition and already turned traitor just after joining Green Day?

If it weren’t for the fact that the monitor hadn’t picked up any signs of Huaizhi betraying them, the two envoys would almost immediately launch a full-scale assault.

So now, should he be supported?

The person in charge stopped fiddling with his metal retractable pen.

”Wait.” He said, ”Let’s observe first.”

The monitor continued to deliver a steady stream of sounds.

As the noisy rock and electronic music got muffled by a thick door, Huai Shi had already been guided to the back.

In the corridor, scantily-clad girls strutted without concern for exposing their graceful figures, confidently crossing back and forth. Occasionally spotting Huai Shi, they’d smile at him and the security guard beside him, reaching out to touch the chin and butt of this young man, inquiring where this fresh meat came from.

Facing harassment before even being officially hired, Huai Shi instinctively wanted to cry, but remembering his mission, he could only act the part of a bashful youth, allowing these older women who weren’t as attractive to flirt with him.

The advantage of bangs became clear at this time.

They concealed his glances around, taking in all the security details.

The four-story building, with the first floor being a basement guarded strictly with unknown goings-on, the first and second floors being mostly noisy night scene stages and private seating, and the third floor having a closed-off regular passage with only one dedicated elevator...

Passing by a door, he heard the familiar click mixed within the Russian conversation.

The faint sound of steel grinding.

A gun.

The server brushing past him had a peculiar scent, and on the tray, he could faintly see some white powder peeking out from an intricately decorated box.

Huai Shi paused for a moment, stealing a quick glance. Under the dim light, he discerned a few needle marks on the back of the neck and wrist tattoos.

Not just this person.

Beyond the perimeter security, most here bore needle marks and signs of injections—especially the young women who’d just exited the changing room.

To varying degrees, they bore beast-like traces on their bodies.

Their graceful bodies adorned with tiny blood marks, their eyes hazy and faces flushed with excitement...unnaturally.

Huai Shi couldn’t help but look, but was pushed by the guard behind him.

”Don’t look around.”

”Okay, okay.” Huaizhi shrunk his neck, giving a fawning smile.

Behind the closed changing room door, cries and curses could be heard, something smashed on the ground, breaking. Soon, the cries were inaudible.

Because they had moved away.

”Honestly, it’s my first time doing something like this.” Huai Shi lowered his head, quietly sighing.

The guard glanced back at him, coldly saying, ”Don’t worry, you’ll get used to it soon enough.”

Huai Shi asked, ”What if I can’t get used to it?”

The guard ignored him, clearly unimpressed with a guy living off his good looks.

Huai Shi lowered his eyes, no longer speaking, just taking a deep breath.

”Freebies are useless! Do guests who come here care about that bit of money? Don’t send poorly trained goods over again!”

In the bustling backstage, Huai Shi finally saw the busy manager.

While directing the dressed dancers to go on stage quickly, the female manager angrily scolded her assistant beside her, slapping twice: ”Send a bottle of Hakushu to Mr. Hideta on the second floor, I’ll take that new woman there myself to apologize later. Why are you standing there? Go!”

After dismissing the assistant, the stern female manager looked over with a stern and demanding gaze. But even with stern and demanding eyes, she couldn’t help but be surprised by this face.

Reaching out, she pinched Huai Zhisu’s chin, lifting her hand to push up his bangs, examining the evading glance underneath, finding it hard to believe.

”This is a delightful surprise, you did well this time. This morning we posted the job ad, and we have such a promising talent sent over... What’s your name?”

”Huai, Huai Zhisu.”

”Don’t be nervous, Novice-kun.” The manager stared intently at his face, estimating how much money his looks could scam from that mindless group of wealthy women, already almost drooling with excitement: ”Do you have any talent?”

”Does magic count?”

Huaizhi dodged her passionate gaze, uneasily asking.

The manager rarely smiled dotingly, couldn’t help but ruffle this little cutie’s cheek, ”Magic, is it? Magic is great, I can do magic too.”

But Huai Shi was distracted.

He looked towards the corner backstage, at the woman who had been dragged by her hair, crying and screaming, into a room, until the door was shut.

”Novice-kun, what kind of magic can you perform?” The manager had already come up to him, asking, ”Can you show me a trick?”

”Uh, sure, sure.”

Forcing himself to remain calm, Huai Shi squeezed out a smile: ”Watch this.”

Just like in all street magic before the performance starts, he showed his hands and ten fingers, empty, hiding nothing.

Then, the two hands slowly clasped together, fingers interlocked tightly, raised and brought in front of her.

”Now is the moment to witness a miracle,”

Huai Shi seriously told her.

But instead of opening his fingers or performing creation out of nothing, he simply thrust his clenched fists forward.

Bang!

The entire noisy backstage instantly erupted with a boom that drowned out all other noise, spreading.

It was as if a small bomb had been detonated in that moment, terrifying firepower was concentrated in the tightly clenched fists, and with Huai Shi’s motion, channeled forward explosively.

Heaven Drum resounded, thunder appeared.

——Triple-fold Drum Thunder!

A conical blood mist and countless viscous rain exploded forth, instantly dyeing more than half of the backstage scarlet, fragmented tissue clung to the crystal chandelier on the ceiling, tinting the entire backstage with a dreamy pink.

Deathly silence came suddenly.

A headless corpse fell back, the sound of it hitting the floor was especially dull.

And thus Huai Zhisu People’s magic performance took its curtain call.

He looked around, seeking feedback from the surrounding audience.

Such a big head, gone in the blink of an eye!

Impressive or what?

Cries of ’admiration’ and ’excitement’ followed, offering ’applause’ to this magic performance, the ’enthusiastic’ audience scattered in fear, afraid that the deadly magician might give an encore.

”Sorry, I didn’t want to act this soon.”

Huai Shi turned back, shrugging at the stunned guard, ”But you see, couldn’t hold back, didn’t even get your boss’s location out of you.”

Before the guard could react, Huai Shi reached into his holster, pulled out the handgun, flicked the safety, aimed at his kneecap, and pulled the trigger, then fired a second shot at the other knee.

Finally, after a thought, he aimed at the head and fired another shot.

With a clear bang, the only one left in the backstage was the female manager lying on the floor.

But the manager didn’t speak, unwilling to give positive feedback, who knows why.

Huai Shi could only clasp his hands together, sincerely praying for the manager on the ground.

Hope she’s okay.

But if something did happen, what can you do?

Amidst the hurried footsteps approaching from a distance, Huai Shi rolled his neck, spread his hands towards the manager on the ground, indicated there was nothing he could do, then turned and walked towards the front of the stage.

Pushing aside the curtain, Huai Shi was bathed in the explosive drum beats and melody, involuntarily bobbing his head.

In the dim dance floor, colorful laser lights crisscrossed through the air, under the high-pitched electronic music, countless guests in the dance floor moved their bodies along with the fiery dancers on the poles, becoming a part of the clamor.

The air was heavy with the scent of burning tobacco and alcohol, those pale bodies undulating and dancing in the darkness, becoming dreamlike as fog under flickering lights.

The debauched nightlife had only just begun...

However, if one only seeks satisfying this kind of release, isn’t it a bit too boring?

He wanted to ignite this mundane nightlife!

Passing through the short corridor, Huai Shi raised his hand, tying his already cut short hair at the back, revealing sharp horns and slender eyes, smiling towards all those looking his way.

The previously shabby and reclusive dark man had vanished without a trace, replaced by an indescribable allure, radiating outwards like a spotlight.

Under the flashing lights, that handsome face was like a Prajna Evil Ghost, revealing an unprecedented danger within the smile.

Just like that, he swaggered forward, casually pushing aside the staff who came up to inquire, directly heading to the sound control desk, squeezing between two seamlessly cooperating DJs.

Smiling, he raised a hand, placing it on the shoulders of the two.

”Excuse me, I’m about to start working.” He whispered intimately to the two, ”Could you please make some room?”

This was the last thing the two heard in the loud music, in the next instant, their vision went black, and they involuntarily collapsed, rolling under the control desk.

Leaving behind heavy headphones spinning in Huai Shi’s hand.

When the rhythm of the DJ abruptly stopped, the guests who were immersed in the beat raised their heads, then saw that smiling face under the flashing lights.
