The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 1104: Chapter 1104: Can’t Beat Their Moms, So I Hit Their Kids

The old lady’s heart was stirred, she could finally help them!

She had always wanted to give money to the two little girls, but they always refused. This time, she finally found her chance!

”What kind of insurance is it?” the old lady asked.

Xiao Lingzhi shook her head: ”I don’t really understand, it’s a kind of savings insurance, very hard to sell. Dad is quite troubled over it, and he’s losing more and more hair!”

She handed the insurance contract to the old lady.

The old lady took it, put on her reading glasses, and examined it carefully.

It was a savings insurance, with an annual deposit of one hundred thousand, continuing for ten years. After ten years, the principal would be returned, and the interest compounded, to be paid out monthly like a pension at retirement.

This insurance wasn’t suitable for an old lady who was already quite elderly; there were age limits, but she could buy it for her son or daughter, or even as a benefit for senior staff.

The old lady made a hundred orders in one go.

Although she only needed to pay the first month’s one hundred thousand, a hundred orders still cost ten million!

But the old lady didn’t even frown as she signed the contract.

Xiao Lingzhi brought out a POS machine, ”Grandma, my dad is taking care of my mom and can’t step away, could you pay by card directly?”

”Sure, I’ll swipe the card now.”

The old lady was initially going to write a check for the little girl, but this was even more convenient.

Ten million was swiped away, and the old lady was very pleased having spent the money, feeling she had finally helped them.

After leaving the old lady’s home, the two little tricksters showed their true colors, glaring at each other with dislike.

Little Taotie shouted angrily, ”I will beat you!”

Xiao Lingzhi shook the contract in her hand and smiled brightly, ”I’m already ahead by ten million, let’s see how you catch up!”

Over the next few days, the two children continued to visit the old lady’s home to play.

The old lady noticed something was off because every time Little Taotie came over, he always had some new injuries.

At first, Little Taotie said he hurt himself playing around, and she didn’t think much of it. But as it happened more often, she grew increasingly suspicious.

One day, when the two little girls were taking a nap at the old lady’s house, the old lady woke Little Taotie. Seeing the little girl awoken but not angry, just dazed and adorable, she gently patted Little Taotie’s head and asked, ”Are the injuries on your knees really from falling?”

The little girl’s face showed a nervous expression, and she bit her lower lip, looking a bit wronged but still stubbornly said, ”I got them from being naughty.”

”Good kids don’t lie,” the old lady said sternly to scare her on purpose.

Sure enough, the little girl was startled, and cried out loud: ”I’m not a bad kid, I don’t lie, boohoo, grandma, don’t get mad, don’t dislike me...”

The old lady hurriedly took the little girl into her arms to soothe her, ”Good girl, don’t cry, don’t cry, I was just teasing you, I’m not mad, I like you, I like you the most, don’t cry...”

After pacifying her for a long time, the little girl finally stopped crying and asked softly while sniffing, ”Grandma, do you really like me the most?” She sneaked a peek at the sleeping Xiao Lingzhi and whispered, ”The very, very most?”

The old lady was amused by her little antics and nodded, ”I like you the most!”

One child’s mother, although seriously ill, is still alive.

Compared to her, the old lady had more sympathy for the child in front of her, this child whose mother had long passed away.

”Can you tell me now, how did you get those injuries?”

The little girl lowered her head and spoke in a muffled voice, ”They... all made fun of me for not having a mom.”

”They?”

”My aunt, my uncle’s wife, my cousin...”

”How hateful!” The old lady angrily pounded the table. Clearly, they were close relatives, yet worse than strangers!

Little Taotie fidgeted with his fingers, feeling a bit guilty, ”They laughed at me for not having a mom, so I went and... beat up their kids, then they beat me up.”

The old lady: ”...”

The old lady cleared her throat, ”Were their kids all younger than you?”

Little Taotie nodded, ”The little brothers and sisters are four or five years old, the youngest is two. I spanked their butts, and they cried out loud!”

The old lady: ”...”

The old lady cleared her throat again, ”Well... hitting people is not right.”

Little Taotie played with his fingers, feeling very wronged, and said in a soft voice, ”But their moms bullied me, I can’t beat their moms, I could only beat them.”
