Re-Birth Of A Genius. Creator/Destroyer

Chapter 1777 - 1777 Assassination

1777 Assassination

Sam arrived back in the city. He went straight to the bar.

He already knew that the bar staff works under Chasin, so he thought of something and took out one of the beasts from the Divine dimension.

By now, there is a world of its own within and most of the beasts he is rearing are not even for battle. They are just for his consumption.

He took a large fish-type beast and placed it on the counter.

“Tell your chef to cook this one for me. I want it to be spicy.”

He paused and thought of something before he took out a jar of wine.

“Tell him to use this in the cooking. If he does it well, I will reward him with another jar of this wine.”

He behaved as if he owned the place. But the bar staff are not even the slightest bit offended. Chasin already passed orders to inform him whenever Sam arrives at the bar.

In fact, he wanted to talk to Sam immediately after he left, but Sam disappeared and Chasin has no means to contact him directly. He only prayed that Sam would appear as soon as possible and he indeed did.

.....

A waitress came to Sam.

“Sir, we reserved our VIP booth for you. Captain Ross has stated that we should provide you with the best service possible. Please let me escort you to your booth. Your food will be served there.”

Sam smiled and followed the waitress.

He arrived at the booth and waited for twenty minutes before a delicious fragrance hit his nose. The large fish that was cooked perfectly came to him. And as if it was on cue, Captain Ross also arrived at along with another cloaked person.

Sam looked at him and smiled.

“Didn’t think you would come this fast.”

The person in cloak revealed himself. It is none other than the young master Chasin.

Chasin is stunned for a moment. He didn’t even notice Sam’s statement as he locked his eyes on the fish.

“Come join me.”

Sam said with a smile and Captain Ross nudged Chasin.

Both of them Sam down and Chasin spoke.

“Sir, I will be honest with you. I am not at a liberty to share all of the information regarding this war. But all I can tell you is that the seven clans in this region recently obtained some treasures. They can increase our strength significantly in the coming years.

The remaining organizations cannot stand this and are trying to fight it out with us. That is the reason for the war. As for what the treasure is, I cannot share the information as it involves a lot of our clan secrets.

I will really appreciate your help and I can guarantee that I can compensate you to the best of my ability.”

Sam just chuckled.

He is actually a bit skeptical about this whole plan working at the start. He knew that the lasting impression he will give out as a mysterious person will definitely help, but after learning what Chasin’s situation from Maya, he is sure this would work.

In an organization that is constantly undermining authority, it is already a miracle that he has these few elders under him. Sam is sure that there should be some powerful Peak stage Astral Plane cultivators within the clan that is being led by a Divine Plane cultivator.

Even if that Divine Plane cultivator is just an Initial stage one.

So, right now Sam’s strength is something that Chasin desperately needs. Sam decided to use it to his full extent.

As Sam stayed silent, Chasin kept on getting distracted by the fragrant fish smell.

Sam noticed this and smiled.

“We can talk later. Let’s eat. I got this fish from a different realm. You wouldn’t find it anywhere here. So, taste it.”

Chasin didn’t even hesitate before he took a bite. He closed his eyes and savored it with all his heart.

Captain Ross is a little bit embarrassed. Their desire of Chasin to eat food like this is somewhat unnatural. A person at his level of cultivation should at least have some self-control. But this guy is so addicted to eating food that even in this situation he is focused more on fish than Sam.

Sam nodded at this.

This is exactly what he wanted to test out.

For Maya to even say that this guy is very into delicacies, for a person like Maya who is in the worst situation of her life, it is very natural for her to forget a lot of insignificant things. That is why Sam thought that any information given by her would be significant no matter how minor it appeared to be.

And his guess is right.

This guy is a food junkie.

It is to the point even when he was raping a woman, the woman actually took note of this.

“Okay, since you are being honest with me, I will fight for you. But before that, I need to know some more details.”

“Please ask away.”

“Who are the rivals that you have within your family and who are the allies? I need to know these details so that I can keep an eye on who is approaching me and what intentions. Usually, I don’t really like being involved in political things.

So, if someone approaches with these bullshit offers, I won’t be taking it lightly.”

Chasin and Captain Ross exchanged a glance. They didn’t know how to react for now. Even though Chasin hated the guts of his own clan members, he didn’t really feel comfortable about giving out all the details regarding his rivals within the clan to an outsider.

Sam noticed their hesitation and smiled.

“Okay then, I can understand why you are uncomfortable, then give me an assistant that is aware of your clan’s situation, if someone approaches with me some agenda, he should be here to warn me. Does that work for you?”

Chasin is still a bit confused. After all, if Sam is really going to fight for him and keep his word in doing so, why is there a need for him to interact with people with the agenda?

All Sam said is that is going to be bothered by this bullshit.

“Trust me, you definitely want to keep me informed about this. If someone from your allies pesters me I will just give them a warning and let them off. But if it is not someone from your allies, then there is something else waiting for them.

I am not a person with a good temper.”

Chasin hesitated a bit, but Captain Ross signaled something to him and he nodded.

“Okay, I will assign one of my bodyguards to be with you, he will let you know the details if someone approaches you.”

Sam nodded and said.

“Okay then, I would like to get into action instantly. Is there somewhere you need me to be right now?”

“Yes, the person you just killed, has a brother. He is a real threat to me if I consider the peers of this rival organization. He also plays a very critical role in the war strategy. He has many mercenaries that are currently working under him.

My plan is to assassinate him and take the control of these mercenary forces. After all, these people only want to get paid.

But of course, for that, we need to establish a proper connection with these groups. So, Captain Ross will follow you on this mission. If you can infiltrate and assassinate that young man and capture the assistant of the young man, Captain Ross will take over from there.

We will establish a meeting with the leaders of the mercenary forces and hire them ourselves.

The only catch in this is that the assassination has to be as silent as possible.

If no one knows that these mercenaries already switched sides and are working for us, then the other organization would still be in a delusion that they are their force. They will be much more open and vulnerable which will be a great opportunity.”

“Okay then, give me more details and I will finish it off.”

Captain Ross took out a scroll and gave it to Sam...

“Where is he now?”

“We don’t know the exact location, but the information is that his men already moved to the city nearby. That is one of the cities that are still in our control, but the underground operations are under the control of a neutral and independent party.

It seems like he is trying to establish a connection with the leader of that force.

So, we might be able to find a lead if we investigate there.

“How far is this city?”

“If we take our Black Eagle, we can reach there in twenty minutes.”

“Let’s go then. Just give me the information on these underground forces on the way. We will use them to find out the lead that we are looking for.”
