Re-Birth Of A Genius. Creator/Destroyer

Chapter 1769 - 1769 Too Many

1769 Too Many

“Really Zeus, you are saying that of all people? There was a point your subordinates hated you to the core. Now you are saying that the words some blind mortals matter?”

One of the gods spoke up.

Even among gods, there are different types. Most of these gods at the table gained their strength with their cultivation as well as an infinite amount of faith from their followers. But there are some gods who are just as powerful as them.

But they didn’t rely on faith. Still, they are on the same level as these gods. In a way, Gambler falls under the same category. His faith is negligible compared to his strength from cultivation. Of course, nobody knows how strong he is.

There are some other gods at the table whose faith plays a role in their strength, but even if the faith is all gone, their positions wouldn’t change much. They might have some temporary trouble, but as a bigger picture, they are still gods of that level.

That is why they didn’t care much about the celestial beings with their unorthodox methods.

At their levels, it is none of their business to judge some other god.

Zeus bringing it up itself is a very weird thing.

“I don’t care what you think Zeus. The competitions are my task and I will do it however I want. Only when I ask your opinion Can you voice it?”

.....

He didn’t hold back. She shot him down immediately. Everyone was stunned. Why would she act like this all of a sudden?

The change of attitude in Hel made everyone feel a bit surprised.

She didn’t care about their surprise and just spoke.

“Out of the two, I told them to reach a tacit agreement between themselves and we will pick one.

Anyway, the next competition is six months away now. It doesn’t concern us too much in any scenario. So, I am just giving a normal heads-up.”

Zeus didn’t even think of anything and just stayed put. Gods left one by one after the meeting and when Hel is about to leave, Zeus blocked her.

“It seems like you are getting cocky Hel. You haven’t been cooperating with me for a while. You are not listening to my opinions and instructions and now you are doing that publicly. It seems like you are getting ahead of yourself.”

He looked at him coldly and said.

“Why? Is it a new feeling to you?”

“Hel, there is a reason why gods don’t mess with me that easily. It is not a great situation to be in if you become my enemy.”

“Really? Seems like the situation has changed. A mortal came to your home and threatened you to your face. You couldn’t do jack shit about it. Why are you trying to flaunt your power at me.”

Zeus became angry. He ground his teeth in rage.

“What did you say?”

“Zeus, you know you are powerful, but you are not as powerful as you think. You are in a state where you couldn’t make a move no matter how much you try. So, just let it be and suck it up.

If you really want to make a move on me, go ahead and do it. I am no pushover. You know my strength very well. I can fight with you for years before you could even gain any upper hand over me.

But before you decide on it, I dare you to reign in that mortal that spat on your face in your own domain.

If you can’t even scare a mortal with your power. Don’t bother trying to scare me with it.

Get lost.”

He felt relieved when she said this. She knew that because of her pettiness and hatred towards Sam, she worked with Zeus. But only after a few days, she understood that she made a mistake. She shouldn’t have worked with Zeus. Now she already made many moves that she wishes she could take back.

She came to know many things the other gods are ignorant of.

She is more concerned about those things than satiating Zeus’ ego. When she knew that Sam did what he did, she realized that things are about to get heated and she doesn’t have to care about what Zeus thought.

Now his reputation among gods has taken a huge hit. He is now a loser who was threatened by a mortal and couldn’t do anything about it.

No matter how many excuses he has about it. That is the situation.

Nobody respects him anymore. Hel left Zeus alone and went back to Hell. She has to monitor the players’ progress.

Zeus went back to his domain and crazily issued commands to his followers.

Meanwhile, without any commands, the trio is operating the dusk organization in the most efficient way possible.

They became great leaders as they led the war from the forefront.

Their tactics are simple.

First, they locked down an organization under Olympus. Because of Zeus’s new orders, the people are actively seeking the Dusk organization.

So, after analyzing the terrain thoroughly and getting a gauge of the location, they released the news that they are from the Dusk organization.

They position themselves in a way that is suitable for them.

The organizations sent their people to go after them. Of course, after the scouting and examining, the next step for them is to obviously lay down proper traps. The Dusk organization manipulated the organizations into falling into obvious traps.

Getting exposed to their already existing enemy organizations and sometimes making them pick fights with new people making completely new enemies out of nowhere.

After the Dusk organization dragged that down for a few days and fought a battle, some of their agents will go to their target’s headquarters to cut off communication and finish off the reserves left back there.

Confusion, fear, manipulation, destruction of their businesses, trust, and of course their faith.

Throughout every step the dusk took, there is one thing in common, they always let the rest of the people and the rest of the realm know that they are attacking because of the atrocities of the Olympian gods.

They portrayed themselves as people who are at war with Olympus and their followers and they are not willing to let this go even if that Olympian god themselves comes down and apologizes.

The people don’t know the exact reason why the war started.

But they had a feeling that whatever the gods or the Olympian follower’s gods, it must not have been a good thing for an organization like Dusk to appear out of nowhere and attack them.

And of course, the trio worked very hard to give out a relatively positive outlook about dusk.

While the war is still going on, Dusk already started academies in the realm and also made connections with other powers through their business channels. They outsource the factory productions after they sold the designs for manufacturing some products.

The organizations that benefited from Dusk obviously sided with them. They helped them destroy the religious beliefs of the Olympians.

This made the whole operation go smoothly.

Every day, reigns change across the realms and most of them are victories of Dusk. There is an occasional setback here and there. But even at that time, there are very few deaths or casualties. Whenever they hit a steel plate, the first thing the Dusk organization did was go defensive.

To protect themselves from losing too much.

They made sure that they are not wasting too much of their resources and just left behind a huge trap with some highly explosive trap formations that cause elemental chaos.

They are like ghosts.

Days passed just like this.

As the dusk went through the Olympus like they are hot knives cutting through the butter. Sam also did the same with the tower and the creatures inside.

He killed them instantly and for some reason for the first month or so, he only used his lightning element. He got a very good understanding of elemental energy and started using it in a much more versatile manner.

Of course, he took the principles he obtained from there to train other elements. After a long time, Sam underwent proper combat training in hell. He was curious and unlike before, he just didn’t focus on obtaining enough corruption energy and tempering his body.

Instead, he focused on improving his new strength.

He combined the new principles he learned with the previous moves and attacks he already had and created a whole new form of battling.

He even decided that he would use these techniques instead of weapons or any other technique in the next competition.

But he felt a bit conflicted as soon as he finished researching it.

After all, he has too many methods to fight. He barely uses all the elemental energies he accumulated. Just a couple of elements and he is coming out on top. Apart from that, there is hand-to-hand combat and multiple weapon proficiency and then there are void style, ripple style, and repel style.

Recently gained weaving and then there is the current method that could actually fuse with every other technique that he has.

He doesn’t know what to do with all of them.
