Re-Birth Of A Genius. Creator/Destroyer

Chapter 1755 - 1755 Approach

1755 Approach

While Sam’s students are going crazy with their exploits.

Back at the city where the task is going on.

The players breezed through the first night mode. Sam got enough data from this easy round.

By the next morning, the players also got a hang of the city’s layout and it seems like there were some prior agreements in place as some of them joined together.

Arkiv didn’t come for Sam this time. But Sam didn’t mind. In fact, he is glad that Arkiv is not getting involved so that as Sam’s friend he won’t get into too much mess. Even though Arkiv had a totally different reason.

He doesn’t want to hold back Sam. He knew that Sam is planning big things against these gods and he doesn’t want to be the one to cause Sam to falter in any way.

So, Arkiv made a deal with Akhil for some slight collaboration.

Noah and Kumar as usual got together to work. Dayus and Donner are not collaborating of course, eve if the former wanted it, the latter is against it. Donner still has that slight stigma. He felt that the other players wouldn’t welcome his presence anywhere near them.

So, he is still alone. Sam of course is also alone.

.....

The next morning. He hid in a house as soon as the city transformed into day mode. He ambushed the three targets within the house and cleaned them off easily.

Now, he sat there and started making new plans. He has two more things that he wanted to test out and he is thinking of the best way to do it. After some thought, he felt that the most obvious way is the simplest way.

He kept track of the targets trying to find him with his eye technique and when he spotted a small fry at a corner near the house he was staying, he came out of the room with his wings on his back.

He caught hold of the target and flew away in the direction of Dayus’ region within the city.

He dropped the guy in that region. He took out his bow and arrow and shot the target as soon as he landed with his feet on the ground.

The arrow pierced through the shoulder before exploding with flames.

*BOOM*

The target died with half of his body completely destroyed.

Sam just went back to his own area and closed off his wings. This time he sneaked around the region and targeted the small fry first. And he did so in a discreet manner. He used his sneaking skills without any form of elemental energy and killed them off by snapping their necks.

Barehanded, no weapons, and no elemental energy skills. He wanted to see what kind of undead will spawn for this.

He also used this chance to reduce the number of targets in his region by a very large margin. The small fries are obviously the highest in number, so he figured he would kill all of that very day.

And he almost succeeded. When dusk is nearing only five of them were left and two of them are very close to them. Sam caught one of the and threw him off into the air while holding his neck.

The neck snapped and the body flew through the air in a parabola before it landed in the region of another player.

He marked the place where that guy landed and finally, he took a break in the house that he hid in the morning.

As the time passed and the sunset, three undead spawned within the house and they had daggers in their arms. It is exactly how Sam killed the people in that house. With a dagger.

They came at him trying close combat, which is easy for Sam. He killed them off and then took out his handguns. One thing Sam noticed and also very obvious about the rules is that they can fight the undead creatures however they want.

They don’t have to be wary of anything. Only when they are fighting in the day mode, do the weapons and techniques affect them in the night mode. But it doesn’t work in the opposite.

So, Sam figured out a better method. He can use his handguns and his bullets. Most of the damage caused by the handgun bullets is from the bullets themselves. The only energy he needs to use these bullets is the energy to shoot which is minimal, to say the least.

He came out of destroyed the small fry undead creatures one by one and then took a high vantage point to take a look at the situation in other regions. His eyes are focused on the spot where he dropped that one target in Dayus’ region.

At that spot, there is no undead that flew into the sky with a bow and arrow in its hands and it is targeting Dayus from the sky.

Each arrow is exploding as soon as it hit something.

Sam nodded and smiled in understanding before he moved his attention to somewhere else. It is the place where he threw the dead body after essentially killing it in his own region. He wanted to see if doing this works.

But from what he saw, it didn’t. Because he went to the spot where he actually killed that target and when he saw an undead there, he went in and got caught by himself.

The undead creature tried to throw Sam away by his neck to snap it in mid-air. Which is exactly how he killed it.

It didn’t work of course. He destroyed the undead and made another mental note.

Now he has everything he needs about how to use this city and the rules to the maximum. The second night mode went on as Sam once again destroyed all of the small fry undead creatures. He used his guns to their full advantage.

The second night mode has passed.

The day mode started and this time, Sam actually came across other players. They came looking for Sam in secret as they avoided fights with the rest of the people.

Sam looked at them and smiled.

“Don’t tell me, you guys came to talk about a partnership.”

“Nope, we just wanted to ask if you, if it is okay if we tried to screw you over a little bit.”

Sam was confused by that statement.

Noah and Kumar sighed as she spoke.

“Sam, we know that you are being pressured and we know that we shouldn’t even be thinking this. But after some thought, I think you will agree with our point of view.

Whether we like it or not, we are dropped in this game. We have to play no matter what. I don’t know what the gods have planned, and we don’t know what exactly they want, but I am sure you would agree, for us to find out, we need to be in a better position in the game they are making us play.

I know things are different with you. They are trying to fuck with you too much. They made it personal over and over again and you need to make a statement. For that, use all your means and do whatever you want.

But we just want you to understand if we try our best to keep our scores high.”

“Keeping up your scores, by resisting my moves as well as making some moves against my plans to get these massively high scores.”

Sam said with a smile.

“Yes. We don’t want you to take this personally. But when we look at it, these points we get obviously mean something. They factor in this in the futu…”

“It’s fine.” Sam cut her off and spoke with a smile.

Noah and Kumar are a bit surprised.

Sam continued.

“I know that things are difficult, to begin with, and my feud with the gods only makes all of this more intense. There is no way, all of you could just sit back and suffer. I want you guys to fight to the full extent.

If you want to fight for more points and if you can do that by resisting and stealing a few my points, go ahead and do it. No hard feelings.

I can completely understand.”

“Thank you so much. And we are going to start it from within the hour. If you don’t mind.”

“By all means.”

The two of them left the place.

Sam shook his head with a smile. He knew this day would come sooner or later. But he will keep on doing what he is doing. He will always blast through the competition to get more points than any other player and he wouldn’t blame them for trying to resist it if they wish to do so.

But he thought it would take a bit more time for them to do so.

Still, he is very glad they came to him. Because he had some more tricks up his sleeve when he realized this situation will pop up sooner or later.
