Medical and Martial God

Ye Xiu stayed at home until the day before the Mist Chant Martial Meeting began.

During these days, aside from eating and sleeping, he spent all his other time kneeling before the graves of his mother and maternal grandparents.

”Mom, Grandpa, Grandma, I intended to use Ling’er as bait to lure Qiao Beiming into a trap, but he was extremely cautious and didn’t fall for it.”

”However, the Ghost Doctor has already sent his people to secretly drop the antidote for the Poisonous Spiritual Energy at all the locations guarded by the Totem Organizations across the globe. Now, even if Qiao Beiming breaks the seal, the schemes of the three Judicator Families cannot succeed.”

”Mom, Grandpa, Grandma, rest assured. After the Mist Chant Martial Meeting is over, I will head to the Eternal Kingdom. I will use the blood of the three Judicator Families to honor your heroic souls.”

Having said this, Ye Xiu stood up, ready to head to the airport, when he suddenly received a call from You Ming.

”Young Master, per your instructions, I led the hacker team to focus on monitoring all communications from intelligence blind spots like nursing homes and psychiatric hospitals throughout Xuanse. We’ve finally made a breakthrough.”

”Half an hour ago, a patient named Yan Dongbin at the Yunluo City psychiatric hospital made a call in a strange language. After I translated it using a dictionary we stole from the Eternal Kingdom, the translated content of his call was: ’Activate the second step of the plan.’”

The second step of the plan?

Ye Xiu immediately thought of how Qiao Beiming had hired a large number of internet trolls over the past two months to spread knowledge about Martial Artists worldwide.

If that was the first step, then the second must be to globally disseminate information about the power of the three Judicator Families and the Eternal Kingdom to create worldwide panic.

You Ming continued, ”After making that call, ’Yan Dongbin’ made another, addressing the person as T4001 and telling him to come to the Yunluo City psychiatric hospital to see him immediately.”

Ye Xiu narrowed his eyes. It made sense for Qiao Beiming to start the second step of the plan now. The Mist Chant Martial Meeting was starting tomorrow, making it the perfect time to create global panic. But why would Qiao Beiming, who has been hiding so well, suddenly summon T4001 at a time like this?

”Next, information about the three Judicator Families and the Eternal Kingdom will appear on networks across the globe. You know what to do, right?” Ye Xiu asked.

”Of course!” You Ming replied.

Ye Xiu grunted in acknowledgment, then decisively ended the call and dialed Gong Jin.

...

「Yunluo City!」

T4001 easily entered the psychiatric hospital under the pretext of visiting a patient.

He entered the ward area and got into an elevator. Just as the doors were closing, someone dressed in a white coat and a blue mask, looking like a medical staff member, rushed inside.

”Which floor?” T4001 asked with a polite smile, gesturing to press the button for him.

The staff member saw that T4001 had already pressed ’3’ and said, ”I’m also going to the third floor.” T4001 said nothing more.

The elevator quickly arrived at the third floor. T4001 and the medical staff member walked out one after the other. T4001 was in front, and the staff member followed behind, seemingly heading the same way, all while looking down at a case file in his hands.

Just after T4001 entered Room 305, the medical staff member casually ran a hand over the door. When he pulled his hand away, a tiny black listening device remained.

”T4001, you’ve arrived.”

Inside the hospital room, Qiao Beiming greeted the entering T4001 with a smile.

At this moment, Qiao Beiming had changed his appearance from when he was at the Jin Ye City hospice. He had disguised himself as a patient in the psychiatric hospital, having killed the real patient and taken his place.

”Mr. Qiao, did you summon me for a special task?” T4001 asked respectfully. Qiao Beiming wouldn’t have met with him otherwise.

”Mhm!”

Qiao Beiming nodded and said, ”T4001, the second step of the plan has begun. I need to return to the Eternal Kingdom, so I am entrusting the plan for the Mist Chant Martial Meeting to your command. You must slaughter every last Martial Artist in Nanjing without fail!”

T4001 replied respectfully, ”Your subordinate will not fail you!”

Qiao Beiming nodded. Just as he was about to stand and leave, his phone suddenly buzzed incessantly. He took out his phone to see he had instantly received a flood of text messages.

”All the content I had people post online about the three Judicator Families and the Eternal Kingdom has been instantly deleted.”

”It seems a program has been activated across major global websites that instantly deletes content related to the three Judicator Families and the Eternal Kingdom. The second step of the plan is difficult to execute.”

”All previous webpages and posts about Martial Artists have disappeared, and any new posts about the three Judicator Families and the Eternal Kingdom are deleted the moment they are posted.”

Qiao Beiming read the messages one by one, his expression growing uglier with each one. By the time he finished reading dozens of them, his face was as pale as paper.

He exclaimed angrily, ”Huang Quan, it must be Huang Quan! Aside from him, no one else in the world could pull this off. Damn it, the plan of the three Judicator Families has been ruined by him!”

Beside him, T4001 asked, ”The purpose of spreading information about the power of the three Judicator Families and the Eternal Kingdom was to throw every country into a panic. Now that Huang Quan has shattered our plan, what do we do next?”

”I have a backup plan!” Qiao Beiming gritted his teeth, his expression ferocious, and immediately sent a mass text: ”Unseal all the ’Spiritual Energy Wells’ across the globe immediately.”

Spiritual Energy Wells were locations across the globe similar to the Extreme Abyss, which was guarded by places like Hundred Flowers Valley and Medicine King Valley.

Seeing the text Qiao Beiming sent, T4001 exclaimed in shock, ”Mr. Qiao, this is too extreme! Once all the Spiritual Energy Wells are unsealed, Poisonous Spiritual Energy will spread across the globe in a very short time. All humans, animals, and plants on Earth will be poisoned and mutate. Not even the Eternal Kingdom will be spared!”

Qiao Beiming sneered coldly. ”Don’t worry. The three Judicator Families possess the antidote to the Poisonous Spiritual Energy. Once all humans across the globe are poisoned and have mutated, the entire planet will belong to the three Judicator Families and the Eternal Kingdom.”

Reassured, T4001 asked, ”Now that the backup plan is activated, are you still returning to the Eternal Kingdom?”

”Of course. I am no longer needed here!” Qiao Beiming gave a sinister smile, then stood up and walked out of the room, with T4001 following behind.

As the two of them left the hospital room, neither noticed the listening device on the door.

After leaving the psychiatric hospital, Qiao Beiming took a cab to the airport.

As he was about to hijack an airplane, his phone suddenly received over two hundred text messages:

”How strange. After the seal on the Spiritual Energy Well on Idle Cloud Mountain in Xuanse’s Northern Territory was released, the Spiritual Energy that erupted was colorless.”

”The Spiritual Energy erupting from the Spiritual Energy Well in Northern Europe is abnormal; it doesn’t seem to be poisonous.”

”The Spiritual Energy from the Mist Chant Mountain Spiritual Energy Well doesn’t seem to be toxic.”

After reading all the messages, Qiao Beiming was stunned.

How could this be? Weren’t they all supposed to spew out various colors of Poisonous Spiritual Energy once unsealed? Why is it colorless?

There’s only one possibility! The deadly poison within every Spiritual Energy Well on the planet has been neutralized!

Could it be Ye Xiu?

Qiao Beiming’s mind immediately went to Ye Xiu’s Medical Skills. In the entire world today, if there’s anyone who could neutralize the poison in all the Spiritual Energy Wells, only Ye Xiu could possibly do it.
