Medical and Martial God

Cloud Mist Mountain.

Inside a luxurious seaside mansion, Kristina and Ming Yue, wearing large sunglasses, sat on lounge chairs by the swimming pool, drinking freshly squeezed juice. It was utterly relaxing.

Kristina smiled and said, ”Today is the eighth day. The 3,000-strong army should have returned by now. Let’s just wait here. Someone will bring Qin Qing and Leng Yue to us, and then we can each kill one to vent our anger.”

Dream on... Ming Yue complained inwardly but said aloud, ”I can hardly wait!”

”Those who achieve great things must learn to keep their composure,” Kristina said sagely, ”Ming Yue, even though I’m younger than you, you must learn from me when it comes to composure.”

Ming Yue scoffed inwardly but smiled. ”From now on, the Princess will be my role model and what I strive toward.”

”Mm!” Kristina nodded in satisfaction, enjoying the feeling of being admired.

Just then, a series of hurried footsteps approached. Ming Yue and Kristina turned to see the Great Marshal of Cloud Mist Island rushing toward them. Kristina abruptly stood up from her lounge chair and asked expectantly, ”Where are Qin Qing and Leng Yue?”

Ming Yue also stood up, feigning eager anticipation. However, seeing the Great Marshal’s expression, she already knew the answer.

”Your servant has failed in his duty. Please punish me, Princess,” the Great Marshal said, kneeling on one knee. ”The 3,000 Fourth Realm War Gods set off for Biluo Island eight and a half days ago and have still not returned. I fear they are more likely dead than alive.”

Just as I thought... The smile on Ming Yue’s lips flickered away.

”Impossible!” Kristina countered. ”Qin Qing and Leng Yue just advanced to the Fourth Realm. Among the hundreds of thousands of Mutated Beasts, there’s only one at the Fifth Realm, over a hundred at the Fourth Realm, and several hundred at the Third Realm. The rest are all First and Second Realm. They can’t possibly be a match for 3,000 Fourth Realm War Gods.”

”But they have still not returned!” the Great Marshal insisted.

Kristina fell silent. It was true; the fact that the 3,000 men had not yet returned spoke volumes. But how did Qin Qing and Leng Yue manage to eradicate 3,000 Fourth Realm War Gods?

”Damn it, damn it...” Furious, Kristina kicked the lounge chair to pieces and raged, ”In Xuanse, I was played by Ye Xiu for so long and lost so many Martial Artists! Now, back in the Eternal Kingdom, on my home turf, Ye Xiu’s wives have killed Xue Man, An Bai, and 3,000 Fourth Realm War Gods! I am the distinguished Princess of the Golden Family! When have I ever suffered such humiliation? I swear on my life I will have my revenge!”

Haha, you’ll probably never get your revenge in this lifetime... Ming Yue inwardly despised Kristina and asked, ”Princess, how do you plan to seek revenge?”

Kristina pondered for a moment before saying, ”If I’m not mistaken, Qin Qing and Leng Yue must have anticipated my attack on the Abandoned City and prepared for it. But even with the help of hundreds of thousands of beasts, it would be impossible for them to annihilate all 3,000 Fourth Realm War Gods. I think they must have taken control of Biluo Island’s 200,000-strong army and used modern weapons to ambush them.”

Ming Yue’s pupils shrank. She had considered this possibility as well but was surprised Kristina had figured it out too. This kid has some brains!

Kristina looked at the Great Marshal still kneeling on the ground and commanded, ”Immediately inform everyone on Cloud Mist Island to relocate to Seven-Star Island, north of Biluo Island.”

”What?” The Great Marshal was so shocked by Kristina’s command he could hardly believe his ears. He said, ”Princess, Cloud Mist Island is home to nearly 3,000,000 Martial Artists. I dare not order a mass migration of this scale without His Majesty’s command.”

Ming Yue was startled. To kill Qin Qing and Leng Yue, Kristina is actually willing to mobilize nearly three million Martial Artists? That’s a massive overreaction.

”Just do as I say. I will make a trip back to the Golden Family. Also, do not make any rash moves before I arrive at Seven-Star Island,” Kristina said in a tone that brooked no argument. With that, she headed straight for the villa, intending to change her clothes and go to the Royal City.

Ming Yue hurried after her. ”Princess, don’t you think this is a bit of an overreaction?” She wanted to persuade Kristina to abandon the idea of deploying such a large army. It’s an army of nearly three million Martial Artists, after all! What if they actually manage to kill Qin Qing and Leng Yue? No, with an army that large, Qin Qing and Leng Yue would definitely be killed.

”Ming Yue, you don’t understand,” Kristina patiently explained. ”Biluo Island’s strategic location within the Eternal Islands is crucial. For the future campaign by the three Judicator Families and the Eternal Kingdom to unify the globe, we must first garrison troops on Biluo Island and deploy them from there.

”Now, Biluo Island has likely fallen into the hands of Qin Qing and Leng Yue. If we don’t kill them and take it back, the plans of the three Judicator Families will be severely impacted.”

Kristina already regarded Ming Yue as one of her own, so she candidly shared the plans of the three Judicator Families with her.

Upon hearing this, Ming Yue was so frightened her blood ran cold, a chill seeping deep into her bones. Unify the globe? The three Judicator Families are about to start a world war! No, this can’t be happening! I have to tell Qin Qing this immediately so she can inform Ye Xiu. I also have to warn her and Leng Yue to go into hiding. Otherwise, they’ll be crushed by an army of nearly three million Martial Artists.

She said, ”Princess, with my humble status, I’m not qualified to visit the Golden Family. Perhaps I should just wait for you here.” I’ll sneak off to Biluo Island to find Qin Qing after Kristina leaves.

”Ming Yue, you saved my life. You are more than qualified to go to the Golden Family,” Kristina said gravely.

Damn it, I don’t want to go! Ming Yue screamed internally, but she didn’t say anything more, lest Kristina become suspicious. It’s over! Qin Qing and Leng Yue are probably done for!

Suddenly, a bold idea sprouted in Ming Yue’s mind. Maybe I should just kill Kristina right here and now. If Kristina dies, the threat to Qin Qing and Leng Yue will be eliminated. But what if Ye Xiu blames me for acting on my own?

After much consideration, Ming Yue abandoned her plan to kill Kristina.

「Biluo Island, the Abandoned City.」

Qin Qing and Leng Yue were cultivating.

Mo Luo came running over. ”Young Mistress, we’ve really stirred up the hornet’s nest this time!”

Neither Qin Qing nor Leng Yue understood. ”What do you mean?” Qin Qing asked.

”Our spies on Cloud Mist Island sent a message. The entire island’s population of nearly 3,000,000 Martial Artists is hastily packing. They say everyone is relocating to Seven-Star Island, north of Biluo Island,” Mo Luo explained rapidly.

Because of You Ming, only Qin Qing’s group could use cell phones in the entire Eternal Kingdom.

”No way!” Qin Qing’s expression changed instantly. ”We only gunned down 3,000 Fourth Rank Martial Artists. Does Kristina really need to mobilize an army of nearly 3,000,000 to deal with us?”

Leng Yue’s voice was heavy. ”If an army that large truly comes for us, our only option is to flee Biluo Island. Staying here would be a death sentence.”

Qin Qing pondered for a moment. ”Ask Ye Xiu.”
