Lu Ye and Ying Wuji were rapidly flying forward.

Since they were so conspicuous, they should supposedly invite a lot of trouble, but what happened was that their journey had been smooth sailing, and they never encountered even a Corpse Race member.

Corpse Race members were not foolish. They knew that cultivators who dared be conspicuous must be powerful. As such, they wouldn’t provoke such cultivators if they didn’t have the confidence to defeat them.

Half a day ago, the two of them bid Zui Shan and the others farewell. They reluctantly watched them leave, feeling that it was such a shame.

The two of them had gained some valuable information. Before their departure, Zui Shan told everyone to go away and spoke to the two of them alone, giving them some tips on where they could go next.

When Zui Shan was a young man, he was talented and handsome. As such, a representative from a Hidden Realm set his eyes on him and wanted to bring him back.

However, right before entering the Hidden Realm, he gave up on the chance. That was because he didn’t want to leave the companions with whom he had grown up in the base, nor was he willing to enter the Hidden Realm on his own to evade the calamity and enjoy a life of abundance.

The other people who were selected were puzzled as to why he decided to leave. He bid the representative farewell and determinedly returned to his base.

Now, he was the leader of the base who had been leading everyone to survive in this apocalyptic era. He had never forgotten about why he gave up on the chance and returned.

Therefore, even though he didn’t have a way to deduce the current location of the Hidden Realm, he remembered where the door opened at that time.

It was a secret deep within his heart. Since it had something to do with a Hidden Realm, he wouldn’t dare tell anyone else.

As he was thankful for the help of Lu Ye and Ying Wuji, he decided to tell them about it before their departure.

According to him, a Hidden Realm wandered around the Peerless Continent without a permanent location. Therefore, even if the two of them headed to the location where the door had opened before, they might not find anything.

It was a clue, after all. As the two of them were clueless, they had to make the trip. Perhaps they would find something there.

The view around them was reversing fast. As darkness descended, they were still unwilling to stop. They would take some brief rest to restore their Spiritual Powers before continuing their journey.

The next day, they arrived at the location Zui Shan had told them. From afar, they felt that the three Spirit Peaks looked like three fingers. They were enormous. The middle peak was the tallest while the other two were slightly shorter.

Two rays of light landed on the middle peak. According to Zui Shan, the door to the Hidden Realm had opened there at that time.

Lu Ye looked around to scan his surroundings, but there was nothing that attracted his attention. “Let’s search around separately,” he said and walked away.

Ying Wuji nodded and moved in a different direction.

An hour later, they met up again. Lu Ye glanced at Ying Wuji, who shook his head and spread his hands. “I’ve found nothing.”

It was to be expected.

Ying Wuji said, “Lu Yi Ye, we can’t look for the Hidden Realm like this. It’s like trying to locate a needle in the ocean. Shouldn’t we come up with a way to lure the people out of the Hidden Realm?”

“Do you have a way?”

Ying Wuji replied, “I have an idea.”

“Tell me about it.”

“Resources are scarce in this world, so even the cultivators find it hard to survive. If we can take out things that aren’t available in this world and distribute them, do you think it’ll catch the attention of those from the Hidden Realm and make them come looking for us?”

After giving it some thought, Lu Ye dipped his head. “That’s a good idea.”

Upon getting his approval, Ying Wuji was instantly energised. “The things we regard as ordinary like Spirit Fruits and other stuff are treasured in this world. However, if we do this, it’ll take a long time to see any results, and there are too many uncertainties.”

“You’ll do it.”

“Huh?”

“Since you have an idea, just go and do it. You have my support.”

Ying Wuji felt his eyelids twitching, for Lu Ye’s support meant nothing. It wasn’t something that only concerned him. Was Lu Ye treating him like a subordinate?

He was in 16th place in the Fight for Supremacy. Although he couldn’t be considered unrivalled on the Cloud River Battlefield, he rarely came across any worthy opponents. He had never been disregarded like this before.

Fuming, he snapped. “Don’t you dare cross the line, Lu Yi Ye! I’ve been putting up with you for the past few days!” No one could tolerate being treated badly. As he recalled the grievances he had suffered in the past few days, he couldn’t help but flare up.

Lu Ye looked puzzledly at him, not understanding why he suddenly blew his top. “Don’t go if you don’t want to,” he replied nonchalantly. He didn’t understand why Ying Wuji was agitated since no one was forcing him to do anything.

Ying Wuji stared dazedly at him. For some reason, he felt that he was the one being unreasonable. With nowhere to vent his anger, he was raging deep within.

Just then, Lu Ye detected something and turned to look in a particular direction.

Ying Wuji knew that Lu Ye had a powerful soul, so upon seeing his expression, he instantly realised that the latter must have discovered something. He cast his anger aside and looked in the same direction.

A Spirit Artifact that looked like a boat came into his sight as it moved in their direction. The clouds rolled around the boat, making it look majestic.

Ying Wuji was elated. “The chance has come to us without us looking for it. Luck is on our side, Lu Yi Ye!”

He seemed to have forgotten about the conflict between them. When he turned to look in Lu Ye’s direction, he was shocked to find that the man was nowhere in sight. In a dazed state, he looked around and asked, “Where are you, Lu Yi Ye?”

“Conceal your presence!” Lu Ye was suddenly heard speaking beside him. He remained in the same spot, but he had covered up his presence.

Ying Wuji gasped, thinking that Lu Ye seemed more skilful when it came to concealing his presence. Wasn’t Lu Ye a Combat Cultivator? How did he master the skills of a Ghost Cultivator?

Without the time to ponder, Ying Wuji hurriedly activated his Secret Technique to make himself invisible.

When he looked up at the Spirit Boat, he couldn’t help but recall the miserable lives of those from the base.

He and Lu Ye had come to this place to look for a Hidden Realm, but they hadn’t found any clues. Initially, they thought the trip wouldn’t be fruitful, but a Spirit Boat came out of nowhere at the most critical moment.

In this apocalyptic era, only those from the Hidden Realms dared be so high-profiled.

Zui Shan had told them about it before. When the people from a Hidden Realm went looking for suitable candidates to take them back, they would use a Spirit Boat. According to his descriptions, the Spirit Boat was big and luxurious, which was something those from the base could never imagine.

The Spirit Boat could attack and defend, so it was like a Flying Dragon Boat in Jiu Zhou. The ordinary Corpse Race members wouldn’t dare provoke them when they saw such a boat. Even if the stronger ones appeared, the powerful cultivators in the boat would kill or chase them away.

Now that the Spirit Boat was there, the two of them could follow it and find the entrance to the Hidden Realm.

If they had the capabilities, they could even make use of the boat to sneak into the Hidden Realm.

The luxurious Spirit Boat in Zui Shan’s eyes was only ordinary to Lu Ye and Ying Wuji. Considering the current situation in the Peerless Continent, the Hidden Realm must have an ample heritage to own such a boat.

The Spirit Boat soon moved past them from above and flew away.

“Follow it,” Lu Ye said to Ying Wuji, who activated his power and tailed the boat from a distance.

He went on to follow the boat for a long time, but the vessel didn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon. Unable to take it anymore, Ying Wuji whispered, “Are you there, Lu Yi Ye?”

He felt insecure because he wasn’t sure if Lu Ye was there. At the same time, he was crestfallen. He was a Ghost Cultivator, but he wasn’t a match for a Combat Cultivator when it came to his skills to conceal his presence. That was probably the most ridiculous thing in the world.

Lu Ye, who had hidden his presence, released a bit of his aura so that Ying Wuji could be at ease.

In the evening, the Spirit Boat finally seemed to be stopping.

A moment later, the boat was parked in the wilderness. Auras that were either calm or domineering emerged from the boat. The people at the head were a man and a woman. Unlike the clothing style of those from the base, these people from the Hidden Realm were clad in much better clothes.

A Ward Cultivator appeared and set up a Ward around the boat to conceal its presence.

The man and the woman unboarded the boat and looked around.

Following that, the woman looked into the jade slip in her hand before saying, “Senior Brother Yulong, according to the previous representative, there’s another base 50 kilometres away from here in the East.”

Most Humans lived in the bases, so it was difficult to find them. As such, the locations of the bases were important. The representatives of the three Hidden Realms had such records, so it would be easier for their successors to look for those bases.

More often than not, the bases were empty. They were either deserted or destroyed by the Corpse Race.

Therefore, the information in the jade slips meant for the representatives would be updated frequently.

It was the first time the duo became the representatives. Although they were unwilling to do this, they had to diligently carry out their task.

“Let’s go and have a look,” said the man named Zhou Yulong as he walked towards the East, followed by the woman.

The Spirit Boat wasn’t parked right in front of the base. It was a rule set by the Hidden Realms. That was because a Spirit Boat was too conspicuous, so it might attract the attention of the Corpse Race. If it was parked in front of the base, the location would be exposed.

After the people from the Hidden Realm were gone, the residents of the base would face the attacks from the Corpse Race. Therefore, the representatives of every generation abided by the rule.

After the two representatives were gone, the other cultivators stood guard while the Ward Cultivator continued to build a Ward.

Just as Ying Wuji was tempted to make a move, Lu Ye said, “Let’s go nearer.”

“My thoughts exactly,” Ying Wuji replied.

They approached the Spirit Boat while remaining invisible.

If the Ward had been set up, it would have been difficult for Lu Ye to sneak into the boat, let alone Ying Wuji. They probably would’ve alerted the people in the vessel.

However, the Ward hadn’t been built yet, so there was room for manoeuvre for Lu Ye and Ying Wuji.
