Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Following the approval from the Ancestor of the Wei Empire, Xuan Hao didn’t intend on holding back and stepped forward before extending his divine sense into the body of the older man. Feeling no resistance, his divine sense soon enough managed to reach his dantian without encountering any problems along the way, something that would have been impossible under normal circumstances, as the dantian would always be fiercely protected whenever something foreign attempted to force its way inside without prior approval from the cultivator themselves.

Even if he had truly reached the Star Creation Realm, it would be impossible to force his way inside the dantian of someone in the Land Creation Realm. After all, even if he had the strength to instantly overwhelm someone at the Land Creation Realm with that kind of strength, the other party would still be more than capable of resisting outside influence within the dantian and would almost certainly choose to blow up the dantian over potentially falling into the hands of someone else.

Not just someone in the Land Creation Realm, but even someone in the Dao Seed Realm would be more than capable of resisting this kind of influence and end things before they lost control of their dantian, as it was their most important domain where their soul resided. Even if it might not hold out in the face of someone in the Star Creation Realm, it at least gave them enough time to end things if they were caught.

Because of this reason alone and the fact that he now essentially held the life of the Ancestor of the Wei Empire in the palm of his hand after his divine sense was allowed entry into the other party’s dantian, Xuan Hao put aside any thoughts of the other party attempting to use the opportunity to potentially ambush him. After all, if he truly did decide to attack him now, he would only need to use a fraction of his power through the divine sense that had already reached his dantian to kill him.

At the same time, it also made it clear that the request from the Ancestor of the Wei Empire was honest and something he truly wished to get an answer to, even at the risk of potential death or something worse. Showing Xuan Hao that there might truly be something he might not understand when it came to the bottleneck existing between the Middle Stage of the Land Creation Realm and the Late Stage of the Land Creation Realm. Even if it was a difficult bottleneck to overcome, it shouldn’t have reached the current point.

Huh? This is… The internal space of his dantian?

However, as Xuan Hao began the process of examining the internal state of the other party’s dantian, he could not help freezing for a brief second as he saw the state of the other party’s dantian.

Not only was the landmass far smaller than the one inside his own dantian, but it was also clear that the spiritual sea that had been created by the other party was significantly smaller than his own.

From a quick estimation, he guessed that he should have managed to break through to the Land Creation Realm after having reached the Middle Stage of the Sea Formation Realm. Meaning he would have had a spiritual sea only around 10 kilometers wide that had then formed a landmass ten times smaller.

In other words, the landmass that had been formed through his breakthrough to the Land Creation Realm should have been a hundred times smaller than his own, but as he observed the state of the internal space, it was clear that this wasn’t the case. Instead, the landmass present inside the dantian was significantly larger than his own upon reaching the Land Creation Realm, something that would originally be expected considering the other party was a minor realm above him, but, with the small spiritual sea, the sheer size of the landmass didn’t make the slightest bit of sense to him.

From everything he knew, the landmass should have been far smaller and the simple fact that it was as large as it was had obviously placed a significant strain on the spiritual sea that should have been ten times as large as the landmass.

No… It shouldn’t just have placed a strain on the spiritual sea but should have directly ruptured the dantian from the inside out. Killing the Ancestor of the Wei Empire.

The fact that he had been able to hold on and live normally was nothing short of a miracle and made it clear that there should be something that had allowed him to stabilize the landmass and allowed it to grow to the point that it had.

Problem was, though his divine sense was granted free access to scan every single part of the dantian, he couldn’t figure out what it was that allowed this massive landmass to exist inside the dantian without causing it to collapse.

”Might I ask… How did you break through to the Land Creation Realm in the past?” And because of this, Xuan Hao decided to just directly ask the Ancestor of the Wei Empire. Not worrying about him finding it weak and starting to question his intentions, as he essentially held the other party’s life in the palm of his hand.

”Huh? How did I break through to the Land Creation Realm? Senior, you should- Ah, excuse me… I had heard ancient hidden sects took another path when it came to reaching the Land Creation Realm in the past. Looks like it’s true…

Ehm! As for the question from the senior regarding my breakthrough to the Land Creation Realm, I followed the general path of finding a spiritual treasure to anchor the landmass created upon reaching the Land Creation Realm to break through.” Showing a somewhat surprised look followed by a look of understanding, the Ancestor from the Wei Empire didn’t hold back as he began explaining the process of him breaking through to the Land Creation Realm while also using his divine sense to convey the method and spiritual treasure, he had used to anchor the landmass inside his dantian.

Not showing any outwards reaction after hearing what the older man said, Xuan Hao focused almost entirely on the information that the other party had conveyed to him through his divine sense. Examining the method that the other party had used to break through to the Land Creation Realm.

Although it had always been possible to break through to the Land Creation Realm the second one reached the Sea Formation Realm, it would generally be considered impossible because the landmass created would be far too much for the dantian and spiritual sea inside of it to bear. Meaning that realistically, the only ones who would be able to reach the Land Creation Realm had at least reached the Late Stage of the Sea Formation Realm.

The act of using a spiritual treasure to anchor the landmass to the dantian and utilize said anchor to ensure that one would be able to endure the breakthrough to the Land Creation Realm was essentially from what he could tell through the information that had been transferred to him a way to rely on external help to successfully reach the Land Creation Realm.

Of course, though using this kind of anchor could potentially even allow someone at the Early Stage of the Sea Formation Realm to reach the Land Creation Realm, it came with significant drawbacks, as one’s foundation would essentially be ruined in the process. Making future progress impossible.

The simple fact that the Ancestor of the Wei Empire had even managed to reach the Middle Stage of the Land Creation Realm and could even be considered close to the Peak of the Realm was a miracle in itself that had only been possible due to him having found a way to strengthen his spiritual sea following his breakthrough to the Land Creation Realm.

However, to progress any further was essentially impossible, as reaching the Late Stage of the Land Creation Realm would not only require the Ancestor of the Wei Empire to comprehend a Dao at the Origin Realm, but would also require him to expand his spiritual sea to a level not much different from his own spiritual sea.

At least, that was the only way he could see for him to reach the Late Stage of the Land Creation Realm in the future, but… For all he knew, there might be some other way to forcibly continue elevating his cultivation realm in a similar manner as he had done by relying on a spiritual treasure to anchor his landmass during his breakthrough to the Land Creation Realm.

But… Even if such a method really did exist, he had no way of helping the other party in that regard, as he had absolutely no clue about the unique path through the Land Creation Realm that the other party had decided to take.
