Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

As the struggle of the Blue Sea Empire continued with them being unable to stop the continued expansion of the demonic cultivators who were actively transforming large portions of the Blue Sea Empire into an environment resembling that of the Frozen Wastelands, Xuan Hao found himself spending the next few months while this struggle continued to finally push his spiritual sea to the limit of what his dantian could handle. Reaching a circumference of 1171 kilometers circumference, while the depth of his spiritual sea increased by another meter in the process. Not much but still something.

Overall, he didn’t have much more to do in preparation for breaking through to the Land Creation Realm and only needed to take the step forward.

But before that, he decided to first inform his disciples and Elder Song that they would be unable to contact him in the foreseeable future and not to worry about it. After which he set off for the ascension secret realm, as he fully intended to make full use of that secret realm to break through to the Land Creation Realm, as the disturbance created by breaking through outside that place would undoubtedly attract unwanted attention.

As for the ascension secret realm potentially not being of any help to him given how high his cultivation realm was? He didn’t really care, as his main purpose was to make use of the special secret realm to hide his breakthrough to the Land Creation Realm from any of the major powers in the Northern Region of the Continent.

Still, after finding somewhere isolated far away from any of the other elders of the sect who had ventured into the ascension secret realm to seek their own breakthroughs to a higher realm, Xuan Hao decided to go over the information he had on the Land Creation Realm and the different minor realms that this cultivation realm was split up into.

Starting from the simplest of descriptions, the Land Creation Realm involved the creation of a landmass inside ones dantian, this landmass was created by forcibly condensing the spiritual qi in one’s spiritual sea and came with the risk of shattering before being fully formed if the spiritual sea wasn’t calm or couldn’t be properly controlled. Leading to a certain death, as the location of the landmass being created was the very heart of the dantian just below the dao lotus that contained the soul of the cultivator. Leaving no time for a potential escape.

A bit more complicated description of the Land Creation Realm that wasn’t just, condense spiritual qi into a giant landmass and expand it, would be the general description for the four different states the landmass would go through otherwise also known as the Formation, Expansion, Foundation and Ascension Stage. Also known as the Early, Middle, Late and Peak Stage of the Land Creation Realm.

To start with was the Formation Stage, as the name implied, it was the realm at which the landmass was created inside the dantian and slowly stabilized to give room for future expansion. Expansion that unsurprisingly took place in the next stage of the Land Creation Realm, the Expansion Stage.

Generally, these two realms were by far the simplest within the Land Creation Realm and almost anyone who managed to break through to the Land Creation Realm would be able to reach the Middle Stage of the Land Creation Realm with enough time.

What came after the Expansion Stage, the Foundation Stage, was far rarer and more difficult to reach, as it involved the integration of different Daos one had comprehended into the newly established landmass. Enhacning its foundation by merging different Daos together with.

An example being the Dao of Nature giving birth to different plants on the landmass or the Dao of Fire creating volcanoes. Another more obscure one could be the Dao of Shadows giving shadows to everything on the landmass. It was to be known, only a Dao that had reached the Origin Realm could be integrated into the landmass… And that is without mentioning how hard it was to integrate a Dao into the landmass in the first place.

The sheer difficulty of doing this alone was normally what kept most Land Creation Realm cultivators stuck at the Middle Stage of the Realm, as most older Land Creation Realm cultivators tended to have at least comprehended one Dao to the Origin Realm.

Finally, the Peak Stage of the Land Creation Realm, also known as the Ascension Realm. Not similar in any way to the Soul Ascension Relam, the ascension part referred to the preparations one had to undergo to prepare for the Star Creation Realm.

To reach this realm was simple enough as one would reach by strengthening the foundation of the landmass enough that it underwent a transformation of sorts on its own.

As for what kind preparations the Peak Stage of the Land Creation Realm involved… he had no idea. Not because he hadn’t found information on the Late Stage of the Land Creation, but instead because everyone would have to face a unique challenge one had to overcome at the Peak of the Land Creation Realm before one could begin thinking about breaking through to the Star Creation Realm.

Exciting as this was, Xuan Hao felt almost certain that his most difficult trail in the Land Creation Realm would undoubtedly show up at this realm, as it changed wildly depending on the strength of the landmass one ended up creating. Getting harder the wider and more powerful the foundation of the landmass was.

The future challenge he would face upon reaching the Peak of the Land Creation Realm aside, Xuan Hao decided to first focus his attention on breaking through to the Early Stage of the Land Creation Realm.

Finding a comfortable place to sit amidst the rocks that covered the ascension secret realm before closing his eyes and going into deep meditation. Focusing his entire attention on his spiritual sea before starting to condense it in a manner not much different from breaking through to the Core Formation Realm. Only this time, at a far larger scale.
