Realized Game: I Hoarded 10 Billion Defense Towers

Furthermore, in addition to his Divine Artifact, Shen Fei also possessed bug-like items that could influence the very rules of the system. This was why, to everyone’s shock, he had managed to enter the Game World directly, even though it wasn’t a mandatory mission.

”Whew.”

After hearing Shen Fei’s explanation, everyone let out a long sigh of relief. This was especially true for Huang Yi and Zhao Li. When they heard that Shen Fei hadn’t actually mastered the ability to traverse worlds at will, but had only entered the Game World through a series of fortunate coincidences, the two of them finally relaxed.

Although the fact that Shen Fei could follow them into the Game World still made him uniquely powerful—a world’s first—it at least wasn’t a situation he could create instantly, arbitrarily, or casually. That was enough.

Otherwise, if Shen Fei could truly enter the Game World whenever he pleased, then in the outside world—in reality, where all abilities were inherited from the Game World—he would be a terrifying existence. If he ever took a disliking to someone, he could just jump into their Game World and smash everything in it to smithereens. That would be far too frightening.

Shen Fei briefly explained his situation to the group, and soon, he learned about their circumstances as well. He confirmed that, just as he had suspected, even after entering the Game World, the other five still had the mandatory mission to ”enter a Secret Realm” on their quest panels. The previous 4.5 update wave had ensured that no human player could escape this mandatory quest assignment.

Through their conversation, Shen Fei learned that after completing the Heaven-Opening Gate mission, the others, just like him, would have to enter a Secret Realm. Unless... they used a [Mission Exemption Scroll].

”Thank you, Brother Fei!”

”Thank you, Brother Fei!!”

When they heard Shen Fei describe how he had helped Songhai and the Divine Capital perfectly withstand the assault during the 4.1 monster tide outbreak, both Huang Yi and Zhao Li expressed their most sincere gratitude. Having been forcibly pulled into the Game World, their biggest worry had been for their friends and family back in the real world. This was especially true for Songhai, which relied primarily on Zhao Li for its Combat Power. Zhao Li had been worried ever since he entered the Game World.

Now, hearing Shen Fei’s answer, Zhao Li was suddenly ecstatic. His city, Ye City, was completely fine. Moreover, not a single person in Ye City had suffered any casualties.

”The sea region?”

”A special zone? An Intelligent NPC?”

”Humans are forbidden from the sea region?”

When Shen Fei told Zhao Li about the Intelligent NPC that had appeared east of Songhai, manipulating massive waves, Zhao Li’s brow furrowed instantly. His own Divine Sense Detection had been completely blocked in the waters east of Songhai. He hadn’t expected that the Detection of Shen Fei, who was even stronger than him, could also be blocked. Furthermore, according to Shen Fei, the entire ocean had closed its doors to human exploration ever since the apocalypse began.

His own Neutral City, Ye City, was located right by the sea. Now, learning of this strange new property of the ocean, Zhao Li couldn’t help but feel anxious. Glancing at Shen Fei beside him, Zhao Li sighed inwardly.

I’ll have to ask Brother Chongtian for help again...

After getting acquainted and exchanging information with everyone, Shen Fei even introduced himself to the player who called herself ”Tear.” She was the one with the Succubus bloodline, who seemed relatively normal, at least for now. Her ID was [Tear of the Succubus]. He also asked a few questions about Xiaohong, whose ID was ”Hongyi Piaopiao.” After the two of them exchanged information, they both got strange looks on their faces.

Finishing the conversation, Shen Fei resumed his probing, sensing the state of the dark, sunless Game World, which spanned over a thousand kilometers.

At the same time, he took an item out from his inventory:

[Resurrection Peach: When placed in the inventory, if the holder dies, this item will be consumed to revive them at full health. (Can only be used in a Secret Realm. Cannot be used in the current location!)]

Shen Fei had taken out the ”Resurrection Peach” that dropped after he killed the Jade Emperor in the Fifth Ring of the quest. For clearing the Fifth Ring, every one of them had been rewarded with a ”Resurrection Peach.”

Looking at the Resurrection Peach’s Attributes, Shen Fei nodded repeatedly.

This thing is really powerful!

From what Shen Fei knew, no matter what abilities a person inherited, they only had one life in the real world. Once you died, you were dead for good. The recovery skills and items inherited by players could at most heal injuries; they couldn’t bring someone back from the dead. Under the corrective effect of the world’s rules, some ”resurrection” skills and items from games had been transformed into powerful healing abilities, completely losing their power to revive.

Now, seeing this [Resurrection Peach], Shen Fei’s eyes lit up. The only pity was that this revival item could only be used in a Secret Realm; its use was location-restricted. Since he was currently in the Game World, this special revival item couldn’t be used either.

A Secret Realm is fine, too! If I can successfully complete the [Heaven-Opening Gate] mission, I’ll have to enter a Secret Realm anyway...

Looking at the revival item in his hand, Shen Fei nodded repeatedly.

The mandatory mission [Heaven-Opening Gate] was indeed a pain in the ass. Both the location and the method for completing it were a pain in the ass. But the items rewarded at the end of each ring were excellent. The dog-headed, wolf-headed, and rabbit-headed monsters that had besieged their five-person team revived quickly after being killed. Then, after the final boss was defeated, they were rewarded with a revival item. It was very fitting.

Moreover, unlike the others, in addition to the revival item, Shen Fei had also gained one billion experience points from killing the final boss.
