Worthless Profession: Dragon Tamer

Chapter 633, A Lot Of Fun

Translator: Silavin

Lu Fan asked with great interest, “What’s this? Can’t you two decide? Luo Lixiu, you’re a grown man. Surely you can’t let Ning Shuan’er remain in my hands waiting to die? Why don’t you show some masculine spirit and let Ning Shuan’er leave?”

“This…” Luo Lixiu hesitated endlessly.

If it were any other matter, he would naturally be able to let Ning Shuan’er go. But today was different. Whoever gave way would lose their life!

Previously, Lu Fan had already killed the two of them hundreds of times. Everyone knew that once this god of slaughter decided to act, he would show no mercy!

So now, was this a matter of giving way? No, it was a matter of choosing who would live!

However, with Ning Shuan’er still beside him, Luo Lixiu could not bring himself to say that he should leave, abandoning Ning Shuan’er.

For a moment, Luo Lixiu was struck speechless, not knowing how to respond.

Ning Shuan’er was equally hesitant, her concerns matching those of Luo Lixiu.

She too did not wish to die, but asking Luo Lixiu to die in her place was something she could not say. Although she did not love Luo Lixiu, she could not deny that he had treated her well. How could she so heartlessly discard him after using him?

When both fell silent simultaneously, Lu Fan lost his patience and said. “Seriously? Neither of you will say who should leave and who should stay? Then I might as well kill you both and be done with it. This way, it would be fair to everyone, and you can keep each other company in the afterlife, so neither will be lonely!”

Having said this, two more chain hooks shot forth.

Lu Fan’s action caused both Ning Shuan’er and Luo Lixiu to shudder.

Luo Lixiu could no longer concern himself with other matters and immediately spoke, “Wait… wait! I cannot die!”

Lu Fan continued moving forward while saying, “Oh? It seems Brother Luo has already made his decision?”

Luo Lixiu dared not look at Ning Shuan’er and said through gritted teeth, “Indeed… Although our Luo Family has heirs, among my Brothers, not a single one can shoulder the responsibility of supporting the Luo Family. If I were to die, the Luo Family would be finished, and might even fall to the rank of a Third Tier Ancient Noble Family in future! I cannot allow this, therefore… I cannot die!”

Lu Fan asked with a smile, “Then this means you wish to leave your fiancée behind?”

Luo Lixiu remained silent, which amounted to acknowledgement.

Seeing Luo Lixiu behave like this, fury blazed in Ning Shuan’er’s eyes, but after uttering a single ‘You’, she swallowed the rest of her words.

With considerable guilt in his voice, Luo Lixiu said to Ning Shuan’er, “Shuan’er, I’m sorry. I truly like you… but my affection cannot make me die in your place. When all is said and done, this feud with the Dragon Tamer was caused by the Ning Family. My Luo Family wading into these troubled waters was my fault. I believe that even if I were willing to sacrifice myself to save yours, you and the Ning Family would still face retribution from him. Rather than that, it would be better to let me go, allowing more people to survive. Is that not so?”

Ning Shuan’er said, “Luo Lixiu, say no more!”

“Haha, you are right. You have no need to sacrifice your life for me. You wish to live, and I wish to live as well, but comparatively speaking, I should have no hope of survival. Ultimately, me not marrying you in this lifetime is perhaps a fortunate matter for me. It’s only a pity that I cannot avenge my Little Brother.”

Speaking thus far, Ning Shuan’er addressed Lu Fan, “Dragon Tamer, since Luo Lixiu wishes to live, then release him. I, Ning Shuan’er, is the one who has a feud with you. You could never possibly spare me. If you wish to kill, then so be it! That’s all there is to it! This is also fine with me, I can also go find my Little Brother and care for him properly in the afterlife. If there are ghosts in this world, then we Siblings will certainly come to haunt you!”

“Haha, sure!” Lu Fan readily agreed. “When you Siblings become vengeful spirits and come for me, I’ll just kill you again.”

Such an outcome was not beyond Lu Fan’s expectations.

He could tell Luo Lixiu would never possibly be willing to die for Ning Shuan’er.

Lu Fan was not one to break his word. With a sweep of the chain hook, Luo Lixiu was flung out, crashing heavily into the ground, creating a deep crater.

However, given Luo Lixiu’s Attributes, this impact would not prove fatal.

Lu Fan’s velocity did not diminish as he continued flying ahead with Ning Shuan’er, while calling out loudly to Luo Lixiu, who was already behind him, “Brother Luo, since this is the case, you are now free. After leaving the God’s Tomb Secret Realm in future, do not come to provoke me or the Ye Family again. Naturally, I will not seek revenge. As for your fiancée, haha, I shall take her with me. How I dispose of her has nothing to do with your Luo Family. She’s so appealing that I imagine she could provide me with a lot of fun before her death.”

Upon hearing these words, Ning Shuan’er immediately flew into a rage and began struggling desperately, “What did you just say!? You bastard! You are going too far! Whether you kill or torture me, I submit to your will, but humiliating me before my death!? That is impossible!!”

Lu Fan continued moving forward while replying, “How so? Is that not permitted? You have fallen into my hands, so why should I need to consider your opinion on how I dispose of you?”

“I don’t know how you view yourself but you are quite attractive. It would be wasteful to simply let you die. Why not provide me with some fun before your death? That way, your death would serve some purpose, no?”

“You… you bastard! You might as well just kill me!” Ning Shuan’er began cursing at Lu Fan.

Lu Fan then put on a stern expression and scolded, “Shut your trap! If you say another word, I’ll drag Luo Lixiu over here and make him watch with his own eyes how we have fun!”

Although Lu Fan flew further and further away, the conversation between him and Ning Shuan’er could still be faintly heard by Luo Lixiu.

When Luo Lixiu heard that Lu Fan was taking Ning Shuan’er away not merely to kill her, his heart immediately filled with indignation and humiliation.

He struggled to his feet, watching as Lu Fan and Ning Shuan’er grew more distant, and struck the ground hard with his fist, yet remained helpless.

Ning Shuan’er was not intimidated by Lu Fan. Throughout the journey, she chattered incessantly, cursing Lu Fan for a long while.

“Damn it!” Lu Fan could no longer endure it. Seeing that they were now far from where Luo Lixiu had been thrown down, he descended directly and slammed Ning Shuan’er hard onto the ground.

Ning Shuan’er was stunned by the impact, and before she could recover her senses, Lu Fan delivered a slap across her face.

“You wretch, you’ve been far too noisy throughout this whole journey! Be quiet and behave yourself!”

This slap sent Ning Shuan’er flying and nearly knocked her senseless.

After quite some time, Ning Shuan’er finally recovered, while simultaneously realising that Lu Fan’s decision to set her down was certainly not a good thing.

“You! Don’t come any closer!” Ning Shuan’er immediately attempted to transform into her Fire Phoenix Form, to desperately resist against Lu Fan.

However, Lu Fan directly drew an Array and cast a Enslavement Contract upon Ning Shuan’er, forcibly contracting her as a slave while using the Crowd Control Effect of the Skill to render her immobile.
