Worthless Profession: Dragon Tamer

Chapter 604, Legendary Grade Weapon, Piercing Dragon Roar!

Translator: Silavin

Worthy of being a Purple Treasure Chest, not only did it yield an Epic Grade item, but it even provided a Legendary Grade Equipment Grade Enhancement Scroll!

This was exactly what Lu Fan needed!

With his current Strength Attribute, whether it was the Flaming Meteor Sword or his Underworld Serpent’s Cry, both weapons could no longer withstand his current Strength Attribute.

If he were to use his full power, both weapons would very likely have their Durability drop to zero and completely shattered!

Therefore, enhancing their Grade and Level had become a top priority.

Although both weapons were already Epic Grade, Lu Fan estimated that only Legendary Grade weapons would be able to withstand his usage.

Previously, he had asked Ye Wuxian and Du Yaqiu to help him search for High Grade Equipment Grade Enhancement Scrolls, but the results had been meagre.

After all, Low Grade Equipment Grade Enhancement Scrolls were easy to find, but what Lu Fan needed was a Legendary Grade one!

Never mind a Legendary Grade, even Epic Grade ones numbered how many in total?

Therefore, Lu Fan’s search so far had yielded nothing substantial. At most, he had gotten a few scrolls that could enhance a weapon’s Level.

Now, he had already upgraded both the Underworld Serpent’s Cry and the Flaming Meteor Sword to above Level 100 and had even applied a No Level Requirement Scroll to the Flaming Meteor Sword, allowing himself to use it.

Even so, Lu Fan could not unleash his true strength.

When using these two weapons, he still needed to hold back.

So, rather than using them, it had been better to fight barehanded, or use the Little Blade Armour Dragon King’s Blade Armour.

This Enhancement Scroll had arrived at precisely the right moment, allowing Lu Fan to upgrade one of his weapons to the Legendary Grade, so that even after equipping Xiao Zuo and Xiao You, he could still use it.

However, there was only one scroll, while Lu Fan regularly used two weapons depending on the situation.

After some consideration, Lu Fan ultimately decided to use this scroll on the Underworld Serpent’s Cry.

Because Lu Fan had the Blade Armour. He did not actually need to focus on close combat. He only needed to extend the blades from the armour, and he would effectively possess a close combat weapon comparable to a Legendary Grade weapon.

Therefore, temporarily not using the Flaming Meteor Sword would not have much of an impact.

However, the Underworld Serpent’s Cry was for long-distance combat, powerful enough to strike his foes like an assassin. Lu Fan could use it while riding his Pet Dragon for ultra-long-range attacks, making it practical to many situations.

In the God’s Tomb Secret Realm, weapons could not be equipped, but they could be taken out.

Lu Fan retrieved the Underworld Serpent’s Cry and directly applied the scroll to it.

Immediately, the originally somewhat aged-looking Underworld Serpent’s Cry was enveloped in multicoloured light, followed by a Grade Enhancement that made it look completely new.

The current Underworld Serpent’s Cry appeared as if it had just been forged, gleaming brilliantly, while its appearance had also undergone some changes.

The entire bow’s body was larger and thicker, clearly showing that drawing it would require High Strength Attribute!

Moreover, the bowstring was more than three times thicker than before, with golden light flowing along it.

As for the two serpents coiled around the bow’s body, they had now transformed into Dragons, taking on the appearance of Eastern Dragons.

Misty vapour spewed from their mouths, making this bow look unique and life-like!

Lu Fan glanced at this bow’s Attribute, and was immediately delighted. [That is so worth it.]

This bow was now called Piercing Dragon Roar.

All Four Attributes had been enhanced, with an average value that had broken past four thousand. Not only were the original Skills and Traits retained, but it also came with two new Traits.

One Trait increased the user’s All Four Attributes by 30%, while the other was a Special Attack, adding additional Armour Piercing Damage equivalent to 45% of the user’s combined Strength and Agility Attributes!

If Lu Fan equipped the Piercing Dragon Roar, not only would his Attributes increase significantly once more, but every arrow fired would carry extremely Armour Piercing Damage.

45% of his Strength and Agility Attributes meant that in Lu Fan’s peak state, this value could exceed ten million!

Ten million in Armour Piercing was almost equivalent to dealing True Damage. Who could possibly withstand that?

Even a Level 120 Boss like Divine Bone would have all its bones shot to pieces by a single arrow!

[Indeed, the higher the Weapon Grade, the greater the power increase. Diamond Grade weapons are rubbish compared to Epic Grade weapons, and Epic Grade weapons are thoroughly outclassed when compared to Legendary Grade items!]

[If I obtain a Mythical Grade weapon in future, I can hardly imagine how terrifying it would be. A single Mythical Grade Weapon might even exceed that of a full Set of Legendary Grade equipment!]

Lu Fan was truly looking forward to one day possessing a Full Set of Mythical Grade equipment.

Wang Tianlang, standing nearby, watched as Lu Fan directly applied the precious scroll to a bow, and how it had immediately transformed.

He knew that the bow in Lu Fan’s hands was now a Legendary Grade weapon and felt extremely envious. He even unconsciously swallowed a mouthful of saliva.

He was truly eager to see what Attributes this Legendary Grade weapon possessed, particularly since he only had three Epic Grade equipment and no Legendary Grade equipment.

Only the Patriarch of their Wang Family possessed a pair of Legendary Grade Combat Boots. It was said to have remarkable Attribute Enhancements, serving as their Wang Family’s treasured heirloom.

“Brother Lu, your luck is truly exceptional.” Wang Tianlang said, rubbing his hands together and naturally not missing this opportunity to flatter. “Purple Treasure Chests hardly drop Epic Grade items. Yet you directly found a Legendary Grade Equipment Grade Enhancement Scroll. Your luck is simply unparalleled! In my view, you’re certain to be the first person to collect all the key fragments. I think the Divine Tempering Liquid belongs to none but you!”

Lu Fan glanced at him, feeling unmoved by his flattery.

He retrieved all the key fragments from his Inventory and looked at them, saying, “So far, I’ve only collected five key fragments: numbers one, two, eight, nine, and eleven. I’m still far from collecting all the key fragments.”

“Haha, there’s nothing to worry about.” Wang Tianlang laughed. “Generally, the God’s Tomb Secret Realm lasts a week at the minimum, up to a month at most. We’ve only been here for one day and have already collected more than a third of the key fragments. This is already very fast.”

Lu Fan nodded, about to speak, when he suddenly paused.

Because just then, his Super Treasure Map System had given him another Treasure Map, and moreover, it was a Divine Grade Treasure Map!

This was nothing unusual, but the key point was that the Treasure Map Coordinates were, by remarkable coincidence, located within the God’s Tomb Secret Realm!
