Flash Marriage: Pampered by Mr.Bigshot

Chapter 794: Chapter 793: Mom, how do I return this?

Fiona Sutton woke up several hours later than expected.

Perhaps, she was really too tired.

Slowly opening her eyes, a stark white scene met her gaze. Fiona Sutton glanced around.

Hospital?

The baby?

Instantly, remembering what had happened previously, she immediately clutched her stomach.

”You’re awake?”

Charles Northwood came in from outside with a meal box, only to see Fiona Sutton wide-eyed, clutching her stomach with both hands.

”The baby is fine; it’s still there.”

Charles Northwood knew what she was worried about. Fearing her emotions might become too turbulent again, he quickly spoke.

Hearing this, Fiona Sutton breathed a sigh of relief, and her expression softened considerably.

”You have to take good care of yourself; otherwise, the baby could be in danger.”

As he spoke, Charles Northwood pressed the call bell.

Silvia Waterborne rushed from the Film Set to Capital Town. The first place she went to was Madgar Pavilion.

Sure enough, Evelyn Peary was sitting there. In front of her was the jewelry set Yancy Hastings had previously gifted her.

”Evelyn?”

Silvia Waterborne immediately walked over. Seeing her like this, she was extremely worried.

Evelyn Peary looked up, and her eyes immediately welled with tears.

”Mom...”

”Oh, dear, I’m here. Don’t be sad.”

She immediately gave her a hug.

Evelyn Peary also hugged her tightly, whimpering.

”I kept telling myself that when he returned from this mission, I would definitely give this back.”

She suddenly burst into tears, unable to believe that such a vibrant life was extinguished just like that.

”Stop crying, please stop crying, or Mom will be heartbroken too.”

Although Silvia Waterborne could be unreliable, she never failed to come through in critical moments.

Here, Evelyn Peary’s emotions finally erupted when Silvia Waterborne returned.

Meanwhile, Maxwell Peary had... completely recovered.

”I’ll start working at MC Group tomorrow. Do you need to rest for a few more days?”

After all, her parents are here.

”No need, I’m going to work as well,” Nia Mitchell replied immediately, cautiously observing the CEO’s expression.

Indeed, she couldn’t discern anything from it.

”I’ll go to the hospital with you later to see your father.”

Nia Mitchell was stunned for a moment, then nodded.

”It seems Mom will be back today. Why don’t we all have a meal together as a family?”

She suggested this because she had visited the hospital that morning and had briefly explained the matter concerning Yancy Hastings. After all, Maxwell Peary hadn’t visited for the past few days, and she didn’t want her family to misunderstand him. The disparity in social status between her and Maxwell Peary was huge; everything he did could easily cause unnecessary misunderstandings.

When Nia’s father learned that Silvia Waterborne would be back today, he insisted the whole family have dinner together.

This was also a matter of etiquette.

”Mm, that was an oversight on my part,” Maxwell Peary admitted.

His mood had been off lately, so he hadn’t considered these things thoroughly. Properly speaking, they should have had this meal much earlier.

”How is Dad’s injury?” Maxwell Peary asked.

”He’s mostly recovered, and Aldy is also able to get out of bed and walk around a bit now.”

Aldy Mitchell was truly making an effort, and his recovery was progressing very well.

”Mm, that’s good. Let’s visit the hospital in the afternoon, and then in the evening, we’ll all go to Madgar Pavilion for dinner.”

Maxwell Peary settled the matter without a second thought.

It had to be said, the CEO’s decisiveness was impressive.

”Okay, I’ll tell Dad.”

Maxwell Peary nodded, took out his phone, found Silvia Waterborne’s number, and dialed it.
