Flash Marriage: Pampered by Mr.Bigshot

Chapter 763: Chapter 762: Is your brother-in-law good to you?

This was likely the first time Nia Mitchell had encountered such a friendly big shot. Usually, she was either looked down upon or deliberately given a hard time. This time, Nia Mitchell actually found it a bit strange. She wasn’t quite used to it.

Um... Did she have some sort of masochistic tendency? This wasn’t good, definitely not. No, no, she had to change this.

”What did you want to talk to me about?”

Nia Mitchell sat on the chair beside Aldy Mitchell, looking at him with a gentle expression.

”Sis, is your husband really treating you well?”

He was very worried that Nia Mitchell was only saying that, afraid of making them worry, and had fabricated a lie. A wealthy family was like a huge cage.

”Of course, he treats me very well. You’ll be able to see for yourself eventually. Anyway, aren’t you going to Capital Town soon?”

Nia Mitchell smiled at him, not wanting him to worry about such things; after all, he was currently a patient.

Aldy Mitchell nodded. That was true; he had plenty of time to observe.

”Then... is your mother-in-law good to you?”

Aldy Mitchell suddenly asked another question. Weren’t there always TV dramas showing discord between mothers-in-law and daughters-in-law? Especially in wealthy families. Which woman in a wealthy family was easy to deal with? Even if he didn’t watch those TV dramas, he knew a lot about such matters.

Nia Mitchell paused, taken aback. She hadn’t expected Aldy Mitchell to ask such a question.

Hearing his son’s question, Mr. Mitchell also immediately looked at Nia Mitchell, very eager to know the answer. Afraid of missing the slightest change in her expression, both men watched Nia Mitchell intently.

Seeing the two of them like this, Nia Mitchell couldn’t help but laugh. They really did look like father and son, acting this way.

”Things are very good, so you can rest assured. The most important thing is that he treats me well. We’re currently living alone in his Villa, not in the old family mansion, so there won’t be any friction.”

Nia Mitchell immediately spoke up for the CEO. Seriously, if she didn’t speak well of the CEO at this time, what would happen if her family got worried? If her family misunderstood the CEO, Uncle Peary would definitely be furious.

”Really?”

Aldy Mitchell asked out of habit, finding it a little hard to believe.

”Of course, it’s true. Aren’t you going to Capital Town in a few days? Won’t the truth be clear then?”

Nia Mitchell said with a smile, but inwardly, she was thinking about something else. She definitely had to talk to Uncle Peary about this later. If her family also went to Capital Town, she was a little afraid that Phoebe Harris might appear. She was also scared that the Old Master would treat her family the same way he had treated her. What if he just found a few people to forcibly take them away and then to the old family mansion... Ugh, it was too terrifying to even think about.

Nia Mitchell smiled, secretly making a resolution in her heart, then looked at Aldy Mitchell with a smile.

”Alright, I believe you.”

Aldy Mitchell nodded. These things couldn’t be hidden. Once they were in Capital Town, they would find out the truth. Thinking of this, Aldy Mitchell felt more at ease.

Seeing that he no longer seemed suspicious and had no more questions, Nia Mitchell breathed a sigh of relief.

Nia Mitchell spent the entire morning at the Hospital with Aldy Mitchell, only leaving around eleven o’clock.

”I’ll head back to the hotel first.”

Nia Mitchell glanced at her phone. Uncle Peary had charged it for her last night, so it was working normally now.

”Alright, be careful on your way.”

Mr. Mitchell walked her to the door but didn’t say anything more.

Nia Mitchell nodded and left with a smile.
