Chapter 1150: Chapter 1149: I Only Need Inspection Diagnosis (3 Updates)

Ye Haochuan’s speed in answering was astonishing, even though the Holy Medical Alliance had increased the difficulty, it was rare for anyone to finish within forty minutes over the decades.

From the slowest in the Time Forest to the fastest in identifying herbs, Ye Haochuan was leading everyone with absolute advantage.

After completing his answers, he quietly waited in the rest area, as he had to wait for everyone to finish before separating those who were eliminated from those who advanced, only then could the next exam proceed.

This means there is no cumulative score ranking for the Holy Medical Alliance license, and every assessment must be passed in order to receive the license.

Ye Haochuan was bored for nearly an hour, finally waiting for the end of the answering.

Immediately, the person in charge instructed to open all the wooden boxes, instantly nearly a hundred herbs came into view, candidates at this moment matched their answers with the herbs in the boxes to find out how many they got right.

The person in charge said, ”In this identification, only those who correctly identified eighty types of herbs can pass.”

Upon hearing this, someone exclaimed, ”My goodness, eighty types? Are you sure you’re not joking?”

If it were merely identifying herbs, eighty types wouldn’t be difficult, however, this assessment relied solely on identifying them by smell, which increased the difficulty significantly, among more than ten people, very few passed.

Some with self-awareness turned away, while some holding on to lucky hopes waited until the results were announced to leave reluctantly.

Ultimately, most were eliminated at this stage, only seven advanced.

Today’s assessment was indeed much harder compared to the past, and the elimination rate was remarkably high.

Next was the third assessment, diagnosis.

This assessment involved the Holy Medical Alliance providing several patients, the participants diagnosing them one by one, ultimately giving their prescription, and accurately diagnosing all three prescriptions to pass.

The person in charge ordered to bring three patients to sit at the table, each participant had ten minutes for diagnosis, the seven people took turns diagnosing for over an hour.

”Diagnosis starts!”

As the third assessment began, everyone lined up to diagnose three patients separately.

Inside the loft, Tu Zhengxiang said, ”These three were handpicked by me, although their illnesses aren’t terminal, they are quite tricky for general medical practitioners.”

In this assessment, they couldn’t do much manipulation.

He Qing said, ”This round, I fear won’t affect him much.”

During the free clinic, Ye Haochuan effortlessly handled prescriptions for various difficult-to-treat illnesses, leaving even He Qing feeling inferior.

Fu Pingyang said, ”No problem, the most crucial is still the last assessment.”

...

Ye Haochuan stood aside, not stepping forward to line up, simply observing from afar.

The person in charge came over to remind, ”Time is limited, quickly go queue for diagnosis.”

”No need.” Ye Haochuan said casually, as he activated his Perspective Eyes, the conditions of the three patients became clear instantly, there was no need for the complicated diagnosis.

The person in charge sneered, ”What are you pretending for, thinking you’re exceptional, and treating patients without the need for diagnosis?”

Ye Haochuan chuckled, ”Since you’re the person in charge of the Holy Medical Alliance, surely you have some accomplishment in medical skills, I’d like to ask you, what is the ’Four Diagnostic Methods’ summarized by Divine Doctor Bian Que based on previous experience?”

The person in charge said, ”Naturally it’s observation, listening, questioning, and feeling as emphasized in Traditional Chinese Medicine.”

”So that’s settled, treating people involves more than just questioning, for these three patients, I only need inspection diagnosis.”

The person in charge frowned, everyone knows that inspection diagnosis is the most challenging among the Four Diagnostic Methods!

Looking at the person’s skeptical gaze, Ye Haochuan said, ”Don’t believe it? Come over and I’ll share the diagnosis results and prescriptions with you.”

Immediately, Ye Haochuan sat down, speaking and writing, ”The first patient, female, about 50 years old with a history of coronary heart disease, after overwork and anger, she experiences frequent profuse sweating day and night, accompanied by repeated chest tightness and shortness of breath.”

Sparked with wonder in the person in charge’s eyes, he didn’t expect Ye Haochuan to say it all just by looking.

Ye Haochuan glanced at him, then continued writing, ”Diagnosis: chest obstruction, organ agitation. Condition belongs to liver depression qi stagnation, yin deficiency fire excess. Treat by soothing the liver, relieving depression, nourishing yin, and draining fire. Formula: Angelica and Six Yellow Decoction combined with Xiaoyao Powder.”

Then he listed all the necessary Traditional Chinese Medicine ingredients in the prescription, leaving the person in charge in utter amazement.

After wrapping up the first patient’s diagnosis, the person in charge quickly asked, ”What about the second one?” He was slightly anticipated.

Ye Haochuan continued speaking and writing, ”Second person, male, about 30 years old, long-term smoking and drinking, currently has sticky mouth coating, occasional dizziness, sometimes irritability. Also has hyperuricemia, hypertension, gout.”

The person in charge asked, ”How should one diagnose and treat?”

Ye Haochuan said, ”Diagnosis: blood dizziness. Condition belongs to damp-heat internal obstruction, treat by clearing heat and transforming dampness. Formula: Sweet Dew Detoxification Pill.”

Immediately, Ye Haochuan listed the ingredients for this prescription.

The person in charge and others asked: ”What about the third one?”

Ye Haochuan again said, ”Third person, female, about 70 years old with symptoms of back chills and numbness, often feels heart palpitations, repeated episodes, today’s exposure to wind-cold worsened condition. Also has unstable angina pectoris, arrhythmia etc.”

”Diagnosis: palpitation, condition belongs to yang deficiency cold coagulation, blood stasis obstructing collaterals. Treat by warming yang, dispersing cold, declaring obstruction, promoting blood circulation, and dissipating blood stasis. Formula: Yanghe Decoction combined with Cinnamon Twig and Poria Pill.”

Eventually, after Ye Haochuan provided the prescription, this assessment was considered complete.

Holding Ye Haochuan’s diagnosis and prescription, the person in charge hastily found someone to verify whether there were any errors with the three prescriptions.

Since the three patients were handpicked by Tu Zhengxiang herself, the person in charge wasn’t quite aware of each patient’s specific situation.

Meanwhile, others’ diagnosis hadn’t finished yet.

Many felt headache, although these three patients weren’t terminally ill, they mostly had multiple illnesses, making it incredibly difficult to provide a suitable prescription.

Observing Ye Haochuan’s straightforward diagnosis prescriptions, instantly amazed, cursing to themselves—either he’s boasting or truly a Heavenly Being!

As the staff returned, some others were finishing diagnosis, providing their own prescriptions, but most weren’t quite sure, halting frequently while writing.

The person in charge asked, ”How were the three prescriptions earlier?”

Immediately, everyone’s attention shifted here, eager to know the result, many prayed Ye Haochuan was merely boasting with nonsense, otherwise comparing to him would be utterly frustrating!

The person replied, ”Upon comparison, the three prescriptions are identical to those prescribed by the Alliance Elder!”

”Identical?”

The person in charge looked at Ye Haochuan with ever-changing expressions, from the first assessment till now, Ye Haochuan’s performance was too eye-catching, sparking exclamations from many, ”A real Heavenly Being indeed!”
