Chapter 1103: Chapter 1102: How Long Do You Old Geezer Want to Grope? (Part 1)

On the way, Ye Haochuan stopped to buy groceries and then took Xiao Haimei back to the new home.

”Haimei is here, come in and have a seat!” It was Tong Xiuxiang who opened the door, and upon seeing Xiao Haimei, she was very pleased, as she didn’t know many people since coming to Imperial Capital.

”Auntie!” Xiao Haimei called out and then went inside. Tong Xiuxiang poured her a glass of water and said, ”You’ve been on a plane for so long, are you tired?”

”Not tired at all,” Xiao Haimei replied. ”Auntie, are you getting used to living in the Imperial Capital?”

”It’s okay, just sometimes it’s too quiet.”

”Auntie, once I’m done with Haishan’s affairs, I’ll move in to keep you company!”

”Alright, alright!” Tong Xiuxiang beamed with joy and then started chatting with Xiao Haimei.

At this moment, Su Yingxue came out of the room and asked before reaching the living room, ”Auntie, is there a guest at home?”

In the living room, Xiao Haimei suddenly heard a girl’s voice and immediately looked at Ye Haochuan, pointedly asking, ”Why does this voice sound so unfamiliar to me?”

Before she finished speaking, Su Yingxue had already arrived in the living room and was slightly taken aback to see Xiao Haimei.

The situation became a bit delicate for a moment, and Tong Xiuxiang also noticed that Xiao Haimei and Su Yingxue didn’t know each other.

Ye Haochuan immediately stood up and chuckled, ”Come, come, I’ll introduce you to each other!”

Then Ye Haochuan introduced them to each other, but didn’t mention the crucial point: his relationship with the two of them, although both of them were well aware.

Xiao Haimei, however, was generous and took Su Yingxue’s hand, saying, ”Oh, you’re Yingxue, my sister! I didn’t expect you to be such a big star; I’ve listened to your albums, and your voice is truly made for singing!”

Although Su Yingxue was young and felt a bit uncomfortable at heart, hearing such praise from Xiao Haimei eased her feelings somewhat.

”Sister, don’t tease me. I just debuted, and I don’t deserve the title of a big star,” Su Yingxue replied modestly.

Xiao Haimei laughed, ”You’ve already become popular in Haishan, so naturally you’re a big star. To me, some so-called top-tier artists might not even be as well-known in Haishan as you are!”

Xiao Haimei wasn’t lying; Su Yingxue exploded in popularity after releasing her album, especially in her hometown Haishan, where her songs were heard everywhere.

Even though Xiao Haimei was speaking the truth, Su Yingxue still felt a bit embarrassed and quickly said, ”When it comes to fame, I can’t compare to you, sister. Almost everyone in Haishan knows your name!”

Su Yingxue was right; Xiao Haimei was now a successful businesswoman in Haishan, thriving in business and often appearing on local TV programs due to her natural beauty.

Seeing the two complimenting each other, Ye Haochuan finally let out a sigh of relief; this was a very good start.

Tong Xiuxiang laughed, ”You’re family now, so you sisters should chat more.”

After speaking, Tong Xiuxiang got up and went to the kitchen to prepare the vegetables.

However, when she mentioned ’family,’ Su Yingxue was momentarily stunned, her face slightly reddened and she felt a bit at a loss.

Not only Su Yingxue, but other women might also share the same concerns. Ye Haochuan had many women, and seeing one or two occasionally was fine, but once there were many living together, how should they live and interact?

However, Ye Haochuan wasn’t too worried, as he knew his women well. They weren’t petty, and they were good in both character and personality, so they would certainly get along.

Besides, with Xiao Haimei as a strong woman, it saved a lot of concern. As a strong woman in business, Xiao Haimei naturally had skills in handling interpersonal relationships, and with just a few words, she had already eased Su Yingxue’s feeling of unease.

The two continued to chat for a while, then went to the kitchen to help.

During lunch, Tong Xiuxiang noticed that Xiao Haimei and Su Yingxue were getting along fairly well; the ’family’ enjoyed a harmonious meal, which made her quite happy.

This was her son’s ability, and it was also her son’s good fortune.

After lunch, Xiao Haimei rested at home for a bit and then said she hadn’t bought anything since she’d arrived, and insisted on taking Tong Xiuxiang and Su Yingxue shopping.

Xiao Haimei was generous, buying lots of clothes and cosmetics for Tong Xiuxiang and Su Yingxue in the afternoon, exhausting Ye Haochuan’s physical stamina.

Though tired, Ye Haochuan felt quite pleased inside.

After shopping, they returned Tong Xiuxiang and Su Yingxue home. Then Ye Haochuan and Xiao Haimei found a top-class restaurant, booked a private room, and bought some supplements and fine cigars and liquor, preparing to invite the Minister of Industry and Commerce.

Originally, they agreed to meet at seven in the evening, but they waited two hours for the Minister of Industry and Commerce to arrive.

This minister was called Ma Bangguo, and he was over sixty years old.

”Sorry, work at the unit delayed me a bit, so I’m late.” Being late for two hours, Ma Bangguo spoke as if it were only two minutes.

”It’s alright, we know Minister Ma is very busy, and the fact that you could come tonight already honors us.” In the private room, Xiao Haimei shook hands with Ma Bangguo.

Back in Haishan, Xiao Haimei and Ma Bangguo had talked over the phone and through video conferences, discussing the company’s entry into the Imperial Capital, so they had known each other for a while.

Ma Bangguo gazed lecherously at Xiao Haimei’s chest, holding her hand and refusing to let go.

”I have long heard of Miss Xiao; truly, seeing is believing. It seems there isn’t another woman under the sky as beautiful and capable as Miss Xiao!”

This sounded like praise, but coupled with Ma Bangguo’s lecherous eyes and his odd tone, it was quite suggestive.

As an experienced person, Ye Haochuan was immediately displeased. What does it mean by beautiful and capable? Even if capable, she wouldn’t do it with you!

What was supposed to be a polite handshake, Ma Bangguo kept holding her hand. Ye Haochuan went over immediately, forced a smile, and reached out, ”Hello Minister Ma, my name is Ye Haochuan.”

”Oh?” Ma Bangguo merely glanced at him and simply responded with an ’oh’, without any intention of shaking hands.

Damn it! How long do you intend to hold her hand?

Feeling annoyed, Ye Haochuan went over to shake Ma Bangguo’s hand, finally freeing Xiao Haimei.

”Who is this?” Ma Bangguo looked at Xiao Haimei and asked.

Ma Bangguo was naturally not asking for Ye Haochuan’s name but his relationship with Xiao Haimei.

Before Xiao Haimei could answer, Ye Haochuan quickly said, ”Minister Ma, I am Haimei’s boyfriend, and it truly is a privilege to dine with you tonight.”

Upon hearing Ye Haochuan say he was Xiao Haimei’s boyfriend, Minister Ma’s face suddenly darkened somewhat, then he forced a smile, ”Oh, you must be very fortunate then. It’s not easy to find a woman as outstanding as Miss Xiao.”
