Chapter 1105: Chapter 1104: The Villain Dies from Talking Too Much (3rd Update)

When Ye Haochuan burst through the door, he saw Ma Bangguo grabbing Xiao Haimei’s wrist with one hand while attempting to assault her with the other, reaching for her proud bosom.

Although Xiao Haimei was young, she was still a woman and not as strong as Ma Bangguo, unable to break free, she was immediately terrified, her face losing its color.

Ye Haochuan would never allow anyone to desecrate his woman, so he immediately flew forward and kicked Ma Bangguo in the face.

”Ah!”

Ma Bangguo cried out in pain, immediately fell backward, his mouth full of blood; Ye Haochuan’s kick knocked out two of his teeth.

”Ah!”

Another scream rang out, but it wasn’t Ma Bangguo; it was Xiao Haimei.

”Haochuan!” Xiao Haimei was slightly stunned, then hurried over to pull Ye Haochuan.

This can’t be good; beating Ma Bangguo like this would surely ruin the company’s entry into the Imperial Capital.

Ma Bangguo was kicked so hard by Ye Haochuan that he saw stars, taking a long time to regain his senses. He touched his mouth, seeing his hand covered in blood, his eyes almost popped out.

”You... you dare hit me?!” Ma Bangguo stood up, pointing at Ye Haochuan in disbelief. He couldn’t believe that he, an esteemed Minister of Industry and Commerce, got beaten up?

”I hit you, damn it!” Ye Haochuan flared up, took a few strides forward, and slapped Ma Bangguo’s face with the back of his hand.

”Open your damn eyes and look clearly; this is my woman!” Ye Haochuan said, kicking Ma Bangguo to the ground again, ”You think being the Minister of Industry means you’re above heaven, huh?”

Not to mention now Ye Haochuan didn’t need to seek his favor; even if company entry was really up to him, Ye Haochuan would have no concerns.

Ye Haochuan’s woman was his reverse scale; Ma Bangguo dared touch her, Ye Haochuan dared to beat him, even kill him!

Xiao Haimei could only sigh helplessly. With things coming to this point, there’s no room for reconciliation.

”Ah... I should have thought of it earlier!” Xiao Haimei thought to herself. She should have known that Ma Bangguo had other intentions for her, and the fact he came alone to the banquet proved it somewhat.

However, Ma Bangguo didn’t anticipate that Xiao Haimei had a boyfriend in the Imperial Capital while coming from Haishan!

”You little bastard, you dare hit me!” Ma Bangguo felt pain all over, as if several bones were broken. Yet he endured the pain, pulling out a pistol from his waist.

”Come on!” With the gun in hand, Ma Bangguo’s demeanor became more arrogant, but every time he spoke loudly, it tugged at his entire body muscles, causing unbearable pain.

Nevertheless, the more his body hurt, the angrier Ma Bangguo became. ”You little bastard, come on, take another step forward, see if I don’t shoot you dead!”

Sure enough, Ye Haochuan didn’t move, watching Ma Bangguo with amusement; this scene was all too familiar.

Just the day before, someone else had pointed a pistol at him similarly, but the outcome was... very tragic. Ye Haochuan didn’t kill him, but the lesson was probably harder to bear than death.

”Hahaha!” Ma Bangguo laughed ferociously, ”What, scared now? Weren’t you fucking arrogant earlier? Go on, try being arrogant again!”

Ye Haochuan spread his hands, saying: ”Haven’t you heard a phrase, that villains die from talking too much?”

Ma Bangguo smirked malevolently: ”You’re right.” Then he pulled the trigger.

”Bang!”

With the sound of a gunshot, Ye Haochuan saw the bullet rapidly flying towards him. Just as he was about to grab it with his hand, he sensed something was wrong!

This isn’t an ordinary bullet!

The bullet emitted a faint blue glow, unleashing spiritual energy!

Ye Haochuan immediately retreated to Xiao Haimei’s side, setting up a protective shield.

”Bang!”

The bullet hit the shield and exploded with great power, turning the room into chaos.

Ye Haochuan was inwardly surprised; it’s not surprising for Imperial Capital’s high authorities to have such specially-made firearms to deal with cultivators.

From the power of it, the bullet should have no problem killing an ordinary Innate Master!

Once the light faded, Ma Bangguo, who had finally let out a sigh, widened his eyes in shock, exclaiming: ”You... you’re actually a Foundation Establishment Cultivator!”

”Congratulations on answering correctly, but there’s no reward!”

Ye Haochuan rushed forward like an arrow, attempting to take Ma Bangguo’s gun. Meanwhile, in panic, Ma Bangguo fired several shots until he ran out of bullets.

Ye Haochuan could only retreat when the bullets were fired.

With his cultivation, he naturally wasn’t afraid of Ma Bangguo’s gun, but Xiao Haimei was powerless, and even a glancing blow from the aftermath could be deadly, so he had to protect her.

”Do you have any other means? Use them all!” Ye Haochuan said coldly after deflecting the bullets.

Ma Bangguo sank to the ground. Out of bullets, he was exhausted. After thinking for a moment, he shouted: ”You can’t kill me, I’m part of Huaxia’s high authorities!”

”You’re right, but using such a powerful gun, me acting in self-defense, even if killed wouldn’t warrant severe punishment, right?”

Beside them, Xiao Haimei was terribly frightened; she hadn’t expected a dinner to turn into such a situation.

”Haochuan, spare his life.” Xiao Haimei advised, after all, this was the Imperial Capital. If it escalated, it wouldn’t be good for anyone.

”If you say spare his life, then spare his life it is.”

Upon hearing this, Ma Bangguo felt as though granted amnesty; but then Ye Haochuan changed his tone and said: ”But, though exempted from death, punishment can’t be avoided. He must receive a lifelong unforgettable lesson today!”

Ye Haochuan curled his lips into a sinister smile, leaving Ma Bangguo terrified and flustered: ”What are you going to do to me?”

”You’ll know soon enough.”

As soon as Ye Haochuan reached out, Ma Bangguo cried out: ”Help!”

”Haochuan, what happened?” Just then, Han Tianxing arrived quickly upon hearing gunfire, frowned at the sight.

Clearly, the person sitting on the ground, injured all over, was Ma Bangguo, the Minister of Industry whom Ye Haochuan and others were supposed to be hosting today.

Seeing Han Tianxing arrive, Ye Haochuan refrained from acting, immediately explaining: ”Elder Han, this person intended to assault my girlfriend, received a little lesson from me, but refused to relent afterward, pulled out a specially-made gun wanting to shoot me. Now... I’m just intending to teach him a little lesson.”

Han Tianxing said: ”Haochuan, let it go, he’s already hurt like this. This is still the Imperial Capital, and a Minister having an incident can be big or small; just consider it a favor to me.”

Han Tianxing, having served as an official in Huaxia, spoke on behalf of Ma Bangguo.

”Since Elder Han said so, I must give face.” Saying this, Ye Haochuan looked at Ma Bangguo, coldly said: ”Get lost!”

Ma Bangguo immediately rushed out in a hurry, crawling away. Han Tianxing then exchanged a few words with the manager, and the restaurant quietly dispatched people to clean up the room.

After such an incident, Ye Haochuan didn’t drink with Han Tianxing, briefly introduced Xiao Haimei, entrusted the related procedures to Han Tianxing, and they went home.
