Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Thus, the Orion Arm finally managed to withstand the pressure.

The Sixteen Allied Armies knew almost nothing about the external aid to the Orion Arm, which indicates that they did not pay enough attention to the Orion Arm, nor did they have many sources of intelligence.

After all, the battle between the two sides has only just begun for a year or two, both are adapting to each other’s strength and feeling each other’s power. Even the intelligence was gained after a period of fighting, and mutual understanding became clearer, leading to slow recognition and awareness.

For the vast Starfield, even if a Starfield is weak, as long as there is a certain level of threat, the war cannot be a short one. From the beginning, it was destined to be a protracted war.

Originally, the Sixteen Allied Armies had planned to quickly conquer the Orion Arm, but they did not foresee that after the Orion Arm initially showed signs of being a weak Starfield, it quickly transformed.

Using joint tactics, it rapidly became a formidable adversary.

Since the use of joint tactics, the war has turned into a battle that almost cannot end quickly.

Even when Galaxy Level entities take action, it is the same, because the Orion Arm is too vast. With such strength in the Orion Arm, even if defeated momentarily, they can engage in guerrilla warfare, fighting throughout the Orion Arm. The Galaxy Level is only sixteen, it’s impossible to chase every scattered soldier in the Orion Arm, right?

As a result, the war has become a war of attrition.

The Orion Arm cannot take much more, and the enemy is also feeling strained.

It’s important to know that they also came from afar, not only did they expend a lot of manpower, but the pressure on supplies is also immense. Especially in the Universe, biological needs differ; for example, certain species can only survive eating food from their planets, while some planet’s strong ones have traditions requiring bi-weekly rituals with items from their homeland.

These trivial matters, when applied to each individual creature, may not seem significant, but when accumulated for an entire army, become a tremendously vexing issue.

Logistics became tense due to this, transporting anything from such a distant location is inconvenient; the longer the time is dragged by the enemy, the more painful the prolonged war becomes.

The Orion Arm is also suffering; firstly, the war results in significant consumption. Another point is that their external trade was blocked by the enemy, although they had help from the Northern Star Domain, it’s still not a long-term solution.

Fortunately, regardless, the Orion Arm is fighting within its own Starfield, an enormous advantage due to familiarity with the Star Chart and control inside Orion Arm.

Under these conditions, the war feels like a prolonged one.

The surrounding Starfields find it unbelievable that such a small Starfield like the Orion Arm can withstand the presence of Sixteen Galaxy Level entities from a large Starfield without immediate defeat.

Then, they began to have their own thoughts.

Even if joined the Sixteen Allied Armies to impose some kind of blockade on the Orion Arm, they can still undertake various actions to gain benefits.

It’s just like the relations between countries on original Earth, driven by interests.

Actually, the Orion Arm’s greatest hope is for the war to develop in such a way, because the longer it drags on, the more beneficial the situation becomes for the Orion Arm.

Regardless if the enemy is an army from afar, even if they are nearby, for the Orion Arm, dragging out longer is absolutely better, because the biggest hope for the Orion Arm is, in fact, not the army.

But Jia Yan!

Jia Yan himself is certainly aware of this.

He gazes at war data within the Subspace, pondering all these matters.

”I have always known the war would develop into such a situation, so I prepared my greatest weapon from the beginning, which is my new cultivation path. If I hadn’t prepared in advance, I might have truly faced a blank period now, unsure of what to do.”

Jia Yan hides in the Subspace, always striving in the direction of cultivation, though always handling external affairs in the process, it was only because Jia Yan hadn’t found the exact location of the new path.

Now, just as external affairs have completely settled, Jia Yan can wholeheartedly and entirely pursue the new cultivation path that is beginning to show itself.

”This is great, the external war situation has been handled well enough, leading to the current dragging scenario, so I don’t need to worry too much about external affairs and can continue pursuing the new direction I previously thought of. But before that, I must inform them, because I am about to enter a semi-secluded state, and any issues arising outside would be unacceptable to me.”

The greatest fear for Jia Yan is the external being suddenly overrun by the enemy while he is in semi-seclusion, hence he sends a communication to ensure the external military, during his seclusion, adheres to the current strategic route and avoids large-scale battles, thus buying more time.

Having sent this, Jia Yan enters a semi-secluded state.
