Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

”My previous strength had always been in a kind of explosive growth phase. But now, if I want my strength to keep growing, it’s actually not that easy, because the Galaxy Level is just that kind of Level—wanting rapid progress is almost impossible. Even for existences with the best Talent, you still have to move forward one solid step at a time. Or rather, once you reach the Galaxy Level, there isn’t anyone who isn’t a Genius.”

”I’m no exception. Before, I could rapidly annihilate so many Galaxy Level beings simply because my strength lies in Subspace and the Yin-Yang Dao. With these two cheat-like Abilities, naturally my strength would be a bit stronger than my actual Level. But that also means, if I still want to keep breaking through in strength now, other than boosting my Brainwave Strength Power, I don’t have any other options. And偏偏Brainwave Power is the hardest to advance.”

Jia Yan had always thought that the enemy had locked onto this exact point before coming to attack him. If he had already been in this Level for ten or twenty years, those sixteen Strong Ones probably wouldn’t have dared to come. After all, Jia Yan is an Evolutionary Creature.

And they’d chosen their timing very well—right when Jia Yan’s strength had just advanced to the Galaxy Level. Even just stabilizing Galactic-level Strength takes at least a few years. Now he had indeed stabilized, but improving again was another story. This group of people were themselves Galaxy Level, so of course they knew that even the greatest Genius couldn’t escape this process. So they chose to launch a surprise attack in exactly this situation.

Jia Yan pondered all this for a moment, then turned his thoughts to his current strength.

It really was hard to advance, but that didn’t mean there was absolutely no way to further enhance his strength.

Increasing strength and being unable to advance a Level aren’t mutually exclusive. Even without a Promotion, there’s still the chance to grow stronger.

For example, take Jia Yan right now. He relies on Yin Yang Tao Power and Subspace Power. These two kinds of strength don’t demand that much from Brainwave Power. If they can improve, that would be a tremendous boost to Jia Yan’s overall strength. Unfortunately, these two strengths have basically reached their peak. Trying to push them further is insanely difficult.

”But during this long seclusion in this Subspace, I’ve come up with another way to enhance my strength, and it’s relatively convenient.”

Turning the plan over and over in his mind, Jia Yan brought that idea back out again.

He was going to be clever. Since he had all these advantages, why not make use of them?

”Inside Subspace, matter is extremely chaotic. And I possess Subspace Power, plus the Yin-Yang Dao Power. If I put objects into a very deep layer of Subspace, and even utilize them as positive and negative matter—Antimatter—what would happen?”

Jia Yan had actually experimented with this long ago.

That experiment had even shocked him a little.

Because the Yin-Yang Path Substance placed deep in Subspace actually, in an instant, erupted with a Terrifying Energy that was five times more frightening than the Yin and Yang Dao Explosive he’d used before.

You had to know, Antimatter was already the most terrifying explosive Power Jia Yan could manufacture. Yet by placing it deep inside Subspace, he could cause an explosion with five times the destructive force. To Jia Yan, that was an entirely new direction of thought.

Of course, he couldn’t directly retrieve anything from the deep layers of Subspace. If he could pull that off, he definitely wouldn’t still be a mere Star River Level Initial Stage. Jia Yan estimated that even a Galactic high-level existence couldn’t do such a thing.

So this plan was impossible. He could only look for some roundabout method from that foundation.

And soon enough, he found another approach.

That was, he could place items into the deep layers of Subspace, wait until those items were completely saturated with the Subspace’s spatial aura, then retrieve them and, in the outside world, create their Yin-Yang attributes.

Whether it would work or not was unknown to Jia Yan, but he knew that anything manufactured this way would definitely lose the direct Yin Yang Way Explosion strength of detonating inside Subspace. However, even if it didn’t reach that terrifying fivefold Power, as long as it had onefold extra Power, it would still be worth trying.

”My Yin Yang Tao Power is already strong. Even just onefold would be shocking. If I encounter an existence I couldn’t beat before, I just toss one of these Yin-Yang Path Substance bombs over and it’ll blow them to death. That would at least give my combat power another Assassin move.”

Jia Yan never seriously thought he could really make some explosive with five times his combat power. If he could truly manufacture that, he dared to say he would be swaggering sideways through the Star River Middle Stage, and might even be able to fight a Territory Master—of course, that’s assuming the Territory Master obediently stands there to be blown up.

In short, if a finished product came out of this research direction, then Jia Yan wouldn’t fear being besieged anymore.

With his Space Talent in Subspace, plus these Yin-Yang Dao bombs, as long as he prepared a large stockpile in advance, he wouldn’t even need to expend much of his own Power in battle. Once the fighting started, he would just hurl these bombs in great numbers. If one couldn’t blow a River Among the Stars Early Stage to death, what about ten?

If ten still didn’t work, then a hundred.

Just imagining that scene almost made Jia Yan laugh.

”Very good, this direction is right. But aside from that, I also need to deepen my Yin Yang Tao Power. After all, forging that joint Yin-Yang Dao technique for so many people earlier was enlightening for me too. That should also give my Yin Yang Tao Power a certain boost.”

Jia Yan thought of many aspects, but they all needed time to slowly be realized.

So he stopped wasting words and directly entered Cultivation.

First came the Yin-Yang Dao bombs.

Inside Subspace, Jia Yan picked up a chunk of material—essentially something similar to an external Meteorite. It was only a few dozen tons. With his current body size, it was like a small toy.

In the Eighth Degree Subspace, even Jia Yan himself was nearing his limit.

This Meteorite was specially prepared, or rather, carefully chosen. It wasn’t some extremely rare material, but it also wasn’t anything ordinary.

At the very least, within the Eighth Degree Subspace, with Jia Yan helping maintain the surrounding Space, he managed to stabilize the object and keep it from being destroyed by the outside Subspace.

Buzz buzz buzz.

Jia Yan did his best to control the disintegrating Power inside this layer of Subspace so it wouldn’t instantly obliterate the chunk of matter.

This kind of task required extremely fine control, and it was exhausting.

He maintained control for a long time, bit by bit letting the chaotic Power within the Subspace Interior seep into the Meteorite, yet without destroying the Meteorite’s overall stability.

After a full ten-plus minutes, he finally withdrew his Power, panting.

At the same time, he tossed this Meteorite-like object back into the Seven-tier Space. His Power was immense; in one shot it pierced down through the Seventh Layer, Sixth Layer, Fifth Layer, and Fourth Layer.

It only stopped once it reached the Third Layer.

Because this Meteorite material was originally able to endure Subspace, in the Third Layer of Space it no longer faced any danger of being disintegrated.

Only then did Jia Yan give it a glance, and then took out the next Meteorite-like object.

He continued the same manufacturing process as before.

All of this happened in a very short span of time.

Although Jia Yan didn’t know whether these Meteorite objects would actually be useful, just going through this operation unexpectedly had a certain effect on his Yin Yang Tao Power.

After all, this counted as a kind of grueling training, and it was happening in the Eighth Degree Subspace, which for Jia Yan was the limit of the Subspace depth he could endure.

So he was also honing his Subspace Talent.

With these multiple benefits, he went on conducting this Meteorite conversion for more than half a year.

Inside the Subspace Interior of the Third Layer, countless Meteorites of varying sizes, some near perfect, others with various flaws, had already piled up.

”Good. This should be enough for me to run some tests.”

Half a year later, when Jia Yan turned back to look, the Third Layer was already filled with so many Meteorites that he decided to stop making more and instead switch over to researching a new type of Yin Yang Way Explosion method.
