Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

But over at the Orion Arm, they stopped certain operations, and now, relying entirely on imports, the other side suddenly says they won’t sell anymore.

It’s like the water flow abruptly stopped, and the creatures below drinking water are instantly doomed.

The people inside the Orion Arm are all incredibly astonished, then anger rises in their hearts.

They are like defeated roosters, searching everywhere, pulling connections, but to no avail.

External materials, not a single one willing to sell anymore.

”What’s going on, these external starfields actually refuse to trade with our Orion Arm, our children in the military are all waiting to use these uniforms.”

”I’m even worse off, the food in my army has been procured from these external starfields, but they refuse to sell anymore. In half a month, we’ll run out of food.”

”This... Could it be...”

For the counselors and think tanks inside the Orion Arm, understanding the thoughts of these outer starfields is a simple task.

Just by digging deep into information, knowing that certain starfields have received visits from the high-levels of the Sixteen-fleet Alliance, they immediately know the enemy must have infiltrated these external starfields and reached certain agreements with them.

Originally thought the enemy were merely Outsiders and should have difficulty convincing so many starfields, even if they could persuade, it would surely be one by one. But unexpectedly, the enemy managed to settle all these starfields at one go.

Or perhaps, he deliberately chose this same time point for some sneaky actions.

Because inside Orion Arm, they increasingly rely on these external materials, some even being components of military equipment, and as these things are abruptly cut off, the dangers within Orion Arm instantly elevate by a great level.

To the people of the Orion Arm, their life instantly became extremely difficult.

Meanwhile, on the enemy’s side, they are celebrating the success of this plot.

”Haha, the guys from Orion Arm have fallen for it indeed. For us and other starfields, it’s a very simple trick, yet they fell for it right away. This is the disadvantage of a starfield with no war experience.”

”These uncultured starfield folks are only at this level. A slight brain movement on our part can finish them off quickly.”

”Haha, initially we intended to settle it openly due to their weaker strength. But now it seems, our strength estimates show that going against their joint ultimate move might be a bit challenging. Even if we win, it would cost us many ordinary strong ones’ casualties, so it’s better to employ ruthless schemes against Orion Arm.”

”Well, that’s just the way wars are. We aren’t doing anything wrong.”

Within the Sixteen-fleet Alliance, everyone is extremely happy about the instant halt of the Orion Arm’s material sources.

Several fleet groups even seize this critical moment to immediately attack certain defensive army units of the Orion Arm.

However, unfortunately, the current Orion Arm still possesses significant combat power, even though the will to fight fluctuates due to these events, yet in reality, this combat power is definitely not weak.

Thus, these attacking strong ones’ fleets, each and every one, suffer losses.

”Haha, it’s still that feeling. The fleet members inside Orion Arm really have some strength.”

”Our side lost half of a stealth squad, impressive, impressive; the joint ultimate move truly is the absolute move of creatures inside Orion Arm.”

”Yet, even if you can block it, what about in another month, two months? You’ll surely still die.”

Within the Orion Arm army, there’s talk of resource channels from external starfields being cut off by the enemy using various connections.

For a time, the whole fleet inside Orion Arm experiences people with floating hearts.

Every one of these messages has someone suspicious behind them spreading it, and even though high-levels within the fleet deliberately digest these messages to limit their widespread dissemination, they can’t stop it, as if there’s an enemy already infiltrated within the military system inside Orion Arm.

And this situation leaves the high-levels within Orion Arm extremely frustrated; it’s indeed difficult to find these spies quickly.

The Orion Arm army feels somewhat unstable.

This is the enemy’s art of war.

Because warfare is never only direct confrontation also involves behind-the-scenes encounters and more.

The Orion Arm is encountering the first direct crisis.

”Hmph, these external starfields have really made a smart move, actually utilizing our war situation like this.”

Seeing the price-hiking starfields, especially those with animosity toward Orion Arm or the Old Biochemical Star Zone, initially seemed to discard past animosities with Orion Arm. But now, firing the first shot and striking the hardest, it’s precisely these starfields that chill the heart.

Moreover, certain starfields make one feel uncomfortable with their actions because these starfields were weak like Orion Arm previously, every one adhering to Orion Arm when it grew strong and acquired a Galaxy Level figure. But as this war starts, they immediately became weathercock, swiftly tipping to the Sixteen-fleet Alliance’s side.

Nevertheless, this is quite normal; after all, the Sixteen-fleet Alliance, in this data-broadcast era, everyone knows they actually have starfields at Galaxy Level behind them, and any single power wouldn’t fall below Orion Arm. If not for every one traversing a long distance, surely one could easily crush Orion Arm.

Plus, they’re just playing now; everyone inside Orion Arm knows war brings no advantage to themselves, and collaborators of Orion Arm naturally know even better how to choose.

In the international situation, it’s all about interests and strength.

”Haha, it seems like Orion Arm will endure some tough times, fortunately, we still have plenty of resources inside Orion Arm, thanks to Lord Jia Yan’s planning back then.”

Many high-levels inside Orion Arm realize that in the future they’ll hardly rely on external forces, but on themselves.

Luckily, the Orion Arm isn’t considered a small starfield; its territory is extensive, and its production abundant. As long as people work diligently, then let artificial intelligence play a greater role which can offset external impacts to some extent, although living quality among ordinary people in Orion Arm feels a noticeable effect.

Warfare begins entering another level.

Yet amidst such difficulty, another very strong ally of Orion Arm gradually reveals its support power.

That is the ’Earth Alliance’, or should be said, Earth Alliance’s new member — Northern Star Domain.

This Northern Star Domain, distant several thousand light-years from Orion Arm, logically should find supporting Orion Arm very difficult.

But in reality, it’s connected with Earth Alliance through an unknown principle of ultra-long-distance link or communication pipeline.

They’ve been expanding this pipeline, and now, it has grown into Orion Arm’s strongest direction for procurement en masse.

On the other side of Northern Star Domain, the entire small starfield begins large-scale construction.

Bear in mind, although `Northern Star Domain’s technology is stronger than Orion Arm, it’s not by much. To meet this mega-sized Orion Arm, then Northern Star Domain has to intensify all its energy.

Fortunately, Northern Star Domain has unified under Kama’s command, quickly showcasing its value.

Although it can’t completely make up for all of Orion Arm’s losses, it can help to the greatest extent possible.

Moreover, Northern Star Domain begins extensive procurement, surrounding starfields becoming Northern Star Domain’s buying points. Here isn’t subjected to enemy blockade, so strategic materials become consistently flowing, helping Orion Arm as much as possible.
