Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 2235: Chapter 11: Jointly Invincible!

However, he believed that these three arriving creatures couldn’t possibly engage him head-on; after all, if any one of them were careless, they would definitely be hit by his attack. If both sides were roughly equal in strength, he could still severely injure one.

He was betting on using the method of exchanging injuries to see if he could delay for a bit of time.

Yet something occurred that this stellar-level creature hadn’t anticipated.

The three jointly attacking creatures rushed forward without caring about their own injuries, completely fearless.

For others, this involves their own life, but for Jia Yan, who controls the avatars, this is just one of his avatars.

If one dies, there are over a hundred more; there’s nothing worth treasuring.

The two sides quickly crossed each other, and the previous resolve of the stellar-level creature was gone, now caught in a dilemma.

But he cherished his life, so in the midst of mutual attacks, he suddenly retracted his own attack while pleading for the enemy to also retract theirs. Because he had shown his stance, he hoped not to see a situation where both sides suffered, and believed that the enemy would also offer some concession in kind.

Yet he tragically discovered that the enemy had no intention of withdrawing their attack at all, their attacks becoming even faster.

”Die.”

Reluctantly, he reinstated his previous retracted attack once more.

The strength he had retracted was minimal. Now that a mutual defeat seemed unavoidable, his explosive power hardly diminished his combat power. Even though he despised mutual destruction, the enemy’s actions left him no choice.

Bang.

The confrontation between the two creatures was like a dazzling light appearing in the universe, an earth-shattering power causing an immense shock in the cosmos.

In an instant, both unleashed stellar-level powers.

”Why is it so strange? Their power fluctuates wildly. What is it, and what is their true strength?”

The opponent stared at Jia Yan’s avatar, nearly driven mad.

Meanwhile, elsewhere, while engaged in battle with one avatar, the other two apparently foresaw such a development.

They suddenly approached this stellar-level enemy’s position, then collectively launched their attacks.

Pop.

In the vacuum, there erupted disturbances of subspace and gravitational wave systems.

”I’m unwilling.”

At the brink of death, the stellar-level creature found the reality of his demise completely unbelievable. For a stellar-level strong one, unsure of how many years they lived or battles they fought, dying so easily was something entirely unacceptable for a biological entity meant to endure long lifespans.

But unfortunately, this is war. They may be unwilling to die, yet can only helplessly accept it.

”Another one dead?”

Watching in the vacuum, as yet another stellar-level creature’s body slowly disintegrated amid the aftermath of brainwave power, unable to leave a complete corpse; the scene shocked a nearby crowd of fleet creatures and several still-living stellar-level strong ones, even instilling a thread of despair.

For them, the recent war was entirely in their control, but now a string of appearing ’stellar-level’ or stronger creatures from the Orion Arm side completely took control.

”No longer viable; our side’s high-end combat power is utterly imbalanced, though the three newcomers have not yet revealed stellar-level power, there is reason to suspect they are also stellar-level strong ones, so we suggest we leave here quickly.”

In truth, leaving means fleeing, but since the Imperial Army has enough warships and strong ones, escaping now would allow them a relatively graceful retreat.

”Execute the order; we lost this battle.”

An imperial creature of middle stellar level, engaged in battle with Tian Niu Lang, let out a helpless sigh.

With his approval, the surrounding stellar-level strong ones and fleets finally felt a sense of certainty, promptly preparing to flee.

”The Empire wants to escape?”

”Lords, they are trying to flee, what should we do now?”

”If we let them escape, though they pay considerable costs, they effectively escape almost completely with their fleet. While our high-end combat power slightly won, our low-end fleet suffered greatly; without any response or punishment, they are sure to attack us again in the future.”

The Empire reportedly has numerous strong ones, stellar-level existences numbering dozens or even hundreds; despite heavy losses now, the Empire’s overall strength remains largely unaffected. Their fleet is their foundation; if the fleet suffers no losses, while ours does significantly, future wars will be difficult.

”Tian Niu Lang, pursue.”

Jia Yan didn’t dwell on the intricacies, simply stating this cold command to Tian Niu Lang at that moment.

To him, being attacked in his own domain without retaliating would not sit well internally.

More importantly, he believed not severely hurting the attackers now would only make the Empire more audacious in the future. If a small victory here failed to alert this behemoth, then inflicting more losses might ensure more cautious behavior in future conflicts, even if that meant the final war would be more perilous. However, it might buy Jia Yan’s side more time.
