Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Capítulo 2228: Chapter 7: Why Are There So Many Stellar-Level Beings? (5)

This is why this avatar behaved so poorly. However, these shortcomings weren’t beyond Jia Yan’s control; rather, he gradually found his touch amidst these poor performances. Even the occasional instability of brainwave power was a result of his attempt to release brainwave power to see where the limits were.

Besides this elephant avatar, the giant ape avatar also showed a hint of instability, giving the stellar creature battling it a chance to almost heavily wound this avatar. Luckily, the avatar timely used subspace talent to evade the strike.

“Hmm? Did this guy’s brainwave power have issues? That’s good. It seems his brainwave power had problems from the start. After all, he hasn’t fully demonstrated stellar-level power up to now, only employing such power momentarily in combat. Otherwise, I wouldn’t believe he’s a stellar-class being. Given this, I’ll take advantage of his problems to end him.”

The Hengxi-class powerful being fighting the giant ape avatar was overjoyed and launched an attack.

Meanwhile, the elephant creature quickly regained control of its body after the brainwave power wavered several times, taking on three semi-permanent star-level strong ones in front.

“These several semi-permanent Hengxi-level existences shouldn’t pose a huge threat to me. I could even obliterate them in an instant if I unleash my strength and skills. But if I do so, it’ll surely attract a stellar-class strong one afterward. It’s also unlikely that Tian Niu Lang can hold back all stellar-class existences over there. Facing a stellar-class being, with my current level of control, managing two avatars against Hengxi-class powerful ones — especially in a cross-level battle — carries a certain likelihood of losing at least one avatar…”

The heaviness in Jia Yan’s heart was palpable. To him, the conflicts on both battlefields required his attention. The optimal scenario would be preventing either avatar from perishing.

After all, this was his first battle controlling avatars. Losing one might breed a habitual mindset in the future, thinking that losing an avatar isn’t much of an issue given the sheer number he has.

This notion is very undesirable. Jia Yan believes that if he has the ability to keep both avatars alive, then he should strive to accomplish this, implying he needs to make greater use of his brainwave power and energy. Otherwise, with the severe situation facing the avatars now, it’ll be extremely difficult to keep both alive.

“Even if it’s challenging, I must try… If I succeed, I’ll have initially grasped a method to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Future battle strategies can be applied not just for controlling multiple avatars but also for substantial impact in fights involving my true self!”

Thoughts in Jia Yan’s mind flashed like electricity.

Then, the elephant avatar made a reluctant evasive move.

Yet at that moment, the giant ape avatar on the other side, alongside avatars inside several battleships, similarly executed this move, with one even damaging a battleship’s metal walls.

“This…”

The elephant avatar’s maneuver was extremely clumsy, like a child just learning to battle. The incoming semi-permanent Hengxi-level strong ones were baffled, but they didn’t believe this elephant strong one was inept at walking. Despite its ungainly dodge, it still avoided their attack.

But what did this signify — a peculiar battle tactic?

They couldn’t comprehend.

“Regardless, let’s continue attacking. Whether he’s feigning insanity or not.”

Three semi-permanent star-level creatures surged forth with another attack.

Fortunately, at this time, Jia Yan’s true body, far in Luo Longsi’s fleet, revealed a hint of a smile.

No matter what errors occurred with the elephant avatar here, or issues arose with other avatars elsewhere, he knew his first attempt was actually fully successful. Even if this success had minor blemishes.

Because at the moment the elephant avatar executed its evasive action, another side fighting a stellar-class being presented countless perilous giant ape avatars, which remarkably did not exhibit much disarray in their actions.

This marked an enormous improvement. For Jia Yan, its significance might rival humanity’s first landing on the Moon.

“But the battle continues; if careless, these two avatars remain exceedingly dangerous.”

Jia Yan silently continued to keep his heart and mind fully taut, watching all that unfolded in the distance.

The dual-avatar combat was like an intense and heated movie, with everyone around watching with great tension.

The presence of both avatars seemingly sapped the giant ape creature of strength.

“This guy surely lacks stamina. We’re about to win here.”

“If we win, then we’ll gain a stellar-level combat power here, chase off Tian Niu Lang, and we’ll claim victory in this battlefield.”

Within the fleet partaking in battle, the Empire troops expressed optimism toward the strong ones battling in the battlefield.

When the giant ape creature and the newly arrived elephant creature appeared, they nearly panicked. After all, a random emergence of a stellar-level being, then another, seeming much like it — both potentially stellar-level themselves — how could they not be flustered? Unfortunately, after both creatures materialized, their prowess showed unexpected weakness, even affecting the giant ape creature, making it seem slightly weaker.

“But don’t be complacent. Tian Niu Lang remains formidable. If careless, he might seize an opportunity to eliminate a stellar-class junior ally. Such a victory would be pyrrhic.”

A stellar middle-level creature instructed nearby strong ones.

“Understood.”

The strong creature allies naturally understood this logic.

Despite the ferocity of surrounding combat, even with numerous semi-permanent star-level strong ones killed, the battlefield’s troop advantage and strong ones’ distribution were entirely in favor of the Empire here. Thus the final balance depended on Tian Niu Lang; if they prevented him from slaying the strong ones here, then victory in this war was assured.

The repercussions of the first large-scale war are vast. The psychological difference between the winners and losers becomes immediately significant; failure was simply unacceptable.

“Hmm? Another side conspicuously uses subspace talent too… However, the sensation of this power seems somewhat odd. That giant ape resembling Lord’s avatar also weakened… Could it be?”

In combat, Tian Niu Lang silently focused on one side of the battle.

Entangled and fighting with several stellar middle-level, combined with numerous stellar early-stage creatures, Tian Niu Lang displayed no signs of impending defeat. Evidently, the Yin-Yang Path’s potency for him was astonishingly formidable.

Yet he couldn’t extricate himself. With another member from Jia Yan’s squad, they might have been beaten into retreat by now.

So he could only watch Jia Yan’s two avatars struggle intensively.

Simultaneously, he pondered the real identity of these two avatars.

After all, it was hard to imagine these two avatars both being controlled by Jia Yan. This scenario was profoundly perplexing to a stellar middle-level, most later-stage, and even star-river-level beings.

However, before long, even the newly arrived elephant avatar unleashed several exclusive subspace talents from Jia Yan. Confirmed, he finally acknowledged.

“Wow, those really are Lord’s two avatars. Lord is attempting to control two avatars in battle. That’s remarkable. If he masterfully controls two avatars, doesn’t that mean Lord can control two more avatars in the future…”
