Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 595: Chapter 8 Battle Formation! [Subscribe Requested]_2

It’s like a militant force from Africa on Earth daring to attack the capital of the Stars and Stripes Country. It’s beyond belief. Of course, this militant force is undeniably powerful, but by committing such a taboo, they’ve turned themselves into the worst villains in the starry sky!

But the breaking news from the media, and the strange alarm that suddenly rang out from the Fifth City, all indicated that this indigenous force from the Gold Desert was indeed coming to attack the Fifth City!

One military analyst after another urgently arrived at various news stations in the cities during the night, analyzing the Earth City’s mad actions. Despite these circumstances, there were still quite a few experts who argued that the Earth City’s target was not in Fifth City and they even presented various evidences to rebut the experts who believed that the Earth City would dare to attack the Fifth City.

But as the night grew darker and the Brown Dwarf Star of the Scholz’s star system gradually disappeared on the horizon, the Earth City got closer and closer to the Fifth City. The march was so straightforward that it did not show a speck of hesitation. Even the experts who firmly believed that Earth City would not dare to attack became silent!

The Earth Army really planned to attack the Fifth City!

If not them, then the world must have gone mad!

Despite never believing that the great army of Earth City would launch an attack, the defense system of the Fifth City kept sounding the alarm. The long and haunting sirens echoed through the massive metropolis over and over!

Confusion began to spread among the civilians. Most citizens of the Fifth City still believed that it would be impossible for the Earth City to breach the Fifth City. After all, this city not only boasted a large population, but also considerable defense facilities. The garrison troops might seem slender, but don’t forget where this planet is! It’s a battlefield planet, and if an indigenous force would dare to incite an uprising, that would be a serious violation of the combat nation’s prohibition!

If Earth City attacked the Fifth City, then the combat nation would inevitably deploy its real troops! If that were to happen, no matter how formidable Earth City was, or if they had a Star Space Level, it would all mean one thing – death!

In a fight with a genuine interstellar civilization army, a force like Earth City would be wiped out in a snap.

But some residents living near the periphery of the Fifth City were still getting anxious, with some even starting to flee.

”Earth City is on its way, we’ve to run! That’s a ruthless force, if they get here, a lot of people are gonna die!”

A monster with four feet, resembling a horse from Earth’s wildlife, was walking amidst the panicked crowd. The residents of the Fifth City, having heard his words that fanned the flames of chaos, showed increasingly agitated behavior as they ran with their families.

”Calling on the life forms there, I suspect you’re a spy of Earth City, disseminating terror-laden gossip. Come with me!”

Suddenly, several Auster people, armed with weapons, appeared in front of this horse-like creature.

But this horse-like creature exerted his powerful feet strength and, with a leap, vanished into the crowd of frantic extraterrestrial life forms.

The Auster officers tried to chase after him, but their way was blocked by a few seemingly obese and very strong life forms pretending to be squeezed by other life forms, these obstacles swallowed up a good chunk of their time. By the time they passed these massive life forms, where could they find that horse-like creature anymore!?

Upon realizing that those massive life forms earlier didn’t seem right, they turned around to look for them, but they were nowhere to be found!

Such events kept happening in the outskirts of the Fifth City. There were even occasional small-scale skirmishes.

One by one, the revelations pointed to a significant number of scouts from Earth City infiltrating the Fifth City!

The frightening news was that as the major cities of the Grey-Yellow Star had always implemented strict admission regulations, these aliens couldn’t have all entered at once, but would have spent quite a few days trickling in. No one knew whether the Earth City had long planned to attack the Fifth City and had arranged this well in advance!

The Fifth City was turning into even more of a chaos!

Although this city was home to tens of millions of inhabitants, how could ordinary citizens rival the fighters that had survived the cutthroat Gold Desert? Remember that in space, the power levels of life forms were categorized as Earth Level, Sky Level, Star Space Level, and even the unreachable Stellar Level. Those skulking in the Gold Desert were mostly Earth Level or above; the more vulnerable ones had been eliminated long ago.

While there might be highly powerful individuals in the Fifth City who were on par with the Gold Desert’s powerholders, their combat experience and unified command paled in comparison. Besides, they had families to protect. Analyzing the situation, this city of tens of millions surprisingly wasn’t stronger than Earth City!

But there wasn’t much time left for this sprawling metropolis to panic. When the night grew calm and the brilliant stars appeared in the sky...

Boom boom boom...
