Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 576: Chapter 2 Fly...[Please Subscribe]_1

The commander of the two hundred meters level warship was calmly contemplating at this moment!

Even if the other party could defend against the main cannon of a five hundred meters class battleship, as long as they were careful, they would always maintain an invincible position!

The reason for this was the same one that made many Star Space Level Experts, even if they possessed the power to destroy space battleships, still unable to threaten any space battleship at all - because their speed was too slow!

At this moment, this two hundred meters level warship was inside the Grey-Yellow Star and it was impossible for it to reach the speed possible in the universe.

However, when the anti-gravity system was activated, it could still easily achieve more than fifty times the speed of sound, which means it could move seventeen kilometers in one second! This sort of speed was not achievable by an ordinary Star Space Level Expert!

This was merely their instantaneous launch speed, and with acceleration, after a period, the speed could possibly reach one to two hundred times the speed of sound on Earth!

As the battleship launched attacks haphazardly while retreating, the operators inside were absolutely certain that even if the opponent was a quick flying monster, it would not be able to catch up to this battleship!

Fwoosh...Fwoosh...

Within the raging flames, a pair of shining compound eyes suddenly appeared!

The Big Mosquito, as if ignited by a great fire, was completely stimulated by the ferocious explosive power, making its body unleash its defense. At this moment, it was not as dark as before, but filled with a kind of deep blue, fully exhibiting the Bluish Defense!

Poooff!!

With a single flap of its wings, it broke through the surrounding flames and its speed also had an abrupt boost. Although it didn’t reach the terrifying speed of the space battleship that could move over ten kilometers in a second, it definitely reached more than thirty times the speed of sound!

But this speed was too slow! Too slow! Too slow!

Jia Yan never felt that his speed could be so sluggish. In front of the giant space battleship, he was like a baby who has just learned to fly, embarrassingly slow!

Nevertheless, he kept chasing forward with his dazzling compound eyes!

”Great! In the battle over there, the space battleship we invited definitely has the upper hand! The ones who really want to fight with a space battleship are only some powerful Star Space Level Experts; the rest could at best fight to a draw. It’s ridiculous that this monster, even under the suppression of speed, is still persistently chasing!”

In the combat zone of Earth City, the commander acting as the leader of all security officer aircraft chuckled, in fact, he was not paying any attention to the situation of the battle in Earth City at the moment, as he had most of his attention on the distant battle between the space battleship and the Big Mosquito!

Everyone was clear that no matter how fierce the battle was here, the real determiner of the outcome of the war was still those two powerful entities.

The Big Mosquito was starting to show the impact of not having enough battle experience!

It kept chasing the space battleship in front. Although it seemed hardy for this monster, much smaller in size compared to the space battleship, to be chasing after it with such momentum, anyone with clear sight could see that while the space battleship was retreating and attacking at the same time, the Big Mosquito was only able to withstand the attack, and there would always be a moment of failure.

”I can’t catch up to their speed!”

Jia Yan’s flying speed had already reached about thirty-five times the speed of sound, which was a horrifying speed. In the midst of their chase and escape, in a few seconds, they had once again reached the airspace above Earth City, and in an instant, they broke through Earth City, fighting towards the distant grey-yellow forest!

Jia Yan was in a sorry state.

The space battleship in front was retreating while launching Red Light Attacks. The moderate-power artillery probably needed time to charge, so most of what attacked Jia Yan were those small artillery fires. However, the continuous saturation attacks still gave Jia Yan a feeling of being caught off guard.

In front of him was the massive flight and retreat of the battleship, but Jia Yan couldn’t get closer to the enemy. He knew that his biggest disadvantage in this battle had been magnified to the extreme!

He had no means of Long Range Attack!

Bang bang bang bang bang bang!!!!!——————

Jia Yan didn’t give up the chase. The space battleship in front was obviously able to quickly escape from Jia Yan’s pursuit, but it seemed like they were fixed on this tactic, which was staying only a hundred to two hundred meters ahead of Jia Yan; this distance could always make the strong ones think that they are within reach, but in reality, they are unable to close this short distance no matter what!

”Don’t worry, my speed isn’t just this!”

Jia Yan gently urged himself internally, he knew it was possible for his speed to increase!

That was the feeling of ’silent flight’ before he encountered the space battleship!

This feeling of flying gave him a great inspiration, and that was his comprehension of speed at that moment had reached a different level!

What he needed to do now was to manifest that feeling in battle.

It wasn’t easy to achieve, and Jia Yan was repeatedly interrupted by the Red Light Attack of the small artillery fires and even when there was a spark of inspiration, it would quickly be broken up!

”If I can’t increase my speed to defeat them, then even if the Bluish Defense is powerful, the energy I can use to activate the defense is not infinite, it will eventually be worn down by them!” Jia Yan sighed in his heart, knowing the true limit of his actual strength.

His strength may have indeed reached the Star Space Level, but even now, he was not a powerful Star Space Level Expert, with only reliable defense to depend on.
