Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 553: Chapter 44 Race Against Time!! [Seeking Subscriptions]_2

Originally, the wars on the Grey-Yellow Star were seen as regular conflicts for the warring nations, they had an established rule. The losing side would cede certain benefits. However, in these recent minor battles, the losing Biochemical Empire had not made any concessions at all!

This unconventional behaviour of the Biochemical Empire suddenly infuriated the Auster people!

But amidst this war, another significant power on the Grey-Yellow Star stepped in!

The Insect Clan!!!

This is a mysterious empire, or rather, a mysterious super power.

Three hundred years ago, before the Biochemical Empire existed, their ancestors, or the still existing Biochemical Empire elders, were simply ’biochemists’ or ’biochemical beasts’ enslaved amongst various civilizations. But then one day, the existence self-proclaimed as ’Insect Clan’ suddenly appeared in this starfield.

With the appearance of the Insect Clan, the drastic changes from three centuries ago started to occur!

The Biochemical Empire, this vast empire, with its support, rose like a dazzling sun, formed at an incredible speed, and then forcibly seized the vast starry expanses despite being watched by all civilizations!

Even now, even though the Insect Clan has been in this starry sky for nearly three hundred years, all extraterrestrial civilizations only know that the Insect Clan has always been mysterious, only following behind the Biochemical Empire, serving as its assistant and ally, constantly seizing countless starry territories. Beyond this, they have no information about the Insect Clan, such as where these formidable beings equivalent to the combat power of the Biochemical Empire’s warriors come from or where their base is, it all remains a mystery!

Because of the mystery of the Insect Clan, they have always been a significant risk factor for those interstellar civilizations besieging the Biochemical Empire when it faces life-and-death crises. Indeed, this terrifying species always manages to completely defeat various interstellar civilizations, like a fearsome beast baring its monstrous teeth, whenever its ally is in trouble!

So, for all the extraterrestrial civilizations, though they mostly deal with the Biochemical Empire, what they fear more is the Insect Clan, with whom they almost never interact and who never communicate with them!

But this time, without getting a request for help from the Biochemical Empire, the Insect Clan actually intervened!

While the third terrifying showdown between ’Lord Ula’ from the Biochemical Empire and the ’Auster Gun God’ was taking place, from the Biochemical Empire’s nearby barracks, countless Insect Clan warriors suddenly appeared!

They joined the side of the Biochemical Empire. The most formidable Insect Clan ’Commander’—that lifeform resembling a moth which measured thirty meters in length—even joined the battle between Lord Ula and the Auster Gun God under its own wings!

This battle shocked the world, with the Insect Clan’s combat power that even surpassed that of the Biochemical Empire fully displayed!

After this battle, the Auster Empire suffered a great defeat, the Auster Gun God was heavily injured, had no choice but to retreat, and all the forces pressing onto the Biochemical Empire’s barracks had to completely retreat from the sky, leaving only countless wrecks of Auster battleships on the ground!

The Grey-Yellow Star was shocked!

All across Grey-Yellow Star, even in those safe major cities, panic ensued. All lifeforms were worried that this rare act of war by the Insect Clan could cause turmoil in the already stable Grey-Yellow Star that had established unique systems. Some of the rich even started to secretly move their assets, hoping to escape from this war quagmire in case of sudden changes!

’War’, this word, even in interstellar civilizations, is a terrifying term that sends a chill down one’s spine.

Even so, at this point, the entire Grey-Yellow Star hasn’t experienced much change on the surface, not even those undercurrents have caused much change to this huge grey-yellow planet.

After all, for a war-ridden star, changes are common. It’s not like the news that a squad captain was killed today and was denounced on television media, or that he threw a massive bomb yesterday, leading to denunciations from all sides. In general, people who are not too sensitive don’t find these kinds of news interesting.

Instead, some side news made the residents of certain cities find it amusing.

That is, in Fifth City, due to its proximity to ’Gold Desert’, where the most forces of Grey-Yellow Star are distributed, a sweeping force emerged, and there were gradually more refugees in the slums and outside the city. This led to continuous media coverage and increased attention. Within the Fifth City, the focus on its situation almost surpassed the coverage of Grey-Yellow Star’s war. After all, Gold Desert is the closest area to Fifth City, and many of its prominent figures even have intricate connections with the Gold Desert!

The events in Gold Desert inflamed many big shots of Planet No.5!

Their interests lie there, how could they stand by and watch such enormous changes unfold.

The team that was about to go to Gold Desert finally gathered, rapidly advancing towards Gold Desert!
