Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

692 Elder from the Flame Sky Kingdom!

Leaving the Star Shattering Sect, Xuan Hao decided to use a flying demon beast for the first part of his journey. This way, he would be able to recover his strength while also moving towards his destination at the same time.

Although this was slower than him flying himself, he would be able to recover his strength far faster this way and he didnʼt really expect to encounter any dangerous situations before reaching the core of the Sky Empire.

Even if he ended up encountering a bandit group along the way, most bandit groups would not have any strong demon beasts available to them… And that was not mentioning that the flying demon beast he was using had reached the Nascent Soul Realm!

Ordinary flying demon beasts would not be able to catch up to him, let alone try and pick a fight with him!

Only after reaching the core region of the Sky Empire was there a possibility of him encountering more powerful bandits who had powerful demon beasts available. Encountering a Domain Lord Realm Expert would not be odd either given that they were far more common at the core region of the Sky Empire…

Thinking this to himself, Xuan Hao closed his eyes and focused on fully recovering.

No matter what, with the strength of the flying demon beast he was using, he should be safe for the next few days moving through the outer regions and border regions of the Sky Empire. Making his way towards the core region of the Sky Empire.

Of course… Considering that he avoided the few Domain Lord Realm powers that started appearing the closer he got the core region of the Sky Empire.

…

At the same time Xuan Hao had just left the Star Shattering Sect, an elder who had just recently broken through to the Nascent Soul Realm and had been promoted to an elder in charge of guarding the entrance to Star Shattering Sect, could be seen rushing back towards the Seventh Star Peak with a nervous expression on his face.

Whoosh~!

Rushing past the different elders and disciples who were looking at him with weird expressions on their face as they saw him dashing past them at an extremely fast speed, the elder soon found himself in front of Elder Songʼs courtyard.

Bang!

Opening the door to Elder Songʼs courtyard open without knocking first in a violent manner, the elder quickly spotted Elder Song who was sitting inside the small garden of the courtyard enjoying a cup of tea looking over towards him with a confused expression on his face.

Obviously, Elder Song did not expect for someone to suddenly come barrelling into his courtyard without knocking.

”What is it? For you to act like this, Elder Playing Ghost, did someone important show up at the entrance?”

Looking at the door leading to his courtyard that had almost been broken off by the Elder Playing Ghost, Elder Song could not help narrowing his eyes.

From how anxious Elder Playing Ghost was, it was obvious that something had happened at the entrance of the sect. If not… He would make sure to have a talk with Elder Playing Ghost about not randomly breaking into other peopleʼs home…

”Someone from the Flame Sky Kingdom showed up and is saying that she wants to talk about the future relationship between the Flame Sky Kingdom and the Star Shattering Sect!

From what I could see, the person who showed up is at least someone in the Seventh Stage of the Nascent Soul Realm... Maybe even someone who reached the Peak of the Nascent Soul Realm!”

Hearing what Elder Song said, Elder Playing Ghost calmed down a bit before he began explaining to Elder Song. Making sure to empathize the strength of the person who had showed up at the entrance of the sect.

”Someone from the Flame Sky Kingdom? And someone who has at least reached the Seventh Stage of the Nascent Soul no less… Hm… Are they not one of the kingdoms that are waiting for one of their ancestors to break through to the Domain Lord Realm?” Muttering this to himself as a thoughtful expression appeared on his face, Elder Song tried his best to recall any information he could about the Flame Sky Kingdom.

They are one of the more powerful kingdoms around the border that me and the rest of the elders are planning for the sect to expand into over the coming years… But, even if they know that we will be expanding into their kingdom, that is something that is still quite a few years away from now. During this period of time, they should be more focused on helping their ancestors break through to the Domain Lord Realm, why did someone from the Flame Sky Kingdom suddenly show up now?

Did they encounter a dangerous enemy they could not deal with by themselves? Perhaps one of their ancestors actually managed to break through to the Domain Lord Realm and they want to come and announce it in hopes of us leaving them alone? Maybe something completely different…

Not able to understand why someone from the Flame Sky Kingdom would suddenly show up now of all times, Elder Song silently let out a sigh before he put the cup of tea, he had been holding down on the table in front of him.

”Looks like I will have to go and have a chat with this Nascent Soul Realm Expert from the Flame Sky Kingdom… Elder Playing Ghost, go and inform the sect master about this and tell him that I will be taking care of our guest from the Flame Sky Kingdom.”

”Yes! I will get going Elder Song!”

Whoosh~

Sending off Elder Playing Ghost to inform Feng Chen about their guest from the Flame Sky Kingdom, Elder Song stood up before making his way towards the entrance of the Star Shattering Sect located at the base of the Ninth Star Peak.

Even if the other party was someone who had at the very least reached the Seventh Stage of the Nascent Soul Realm, Elder Song was not the slightest bit afraid of the other party attacking him.

Not to mention the fact that offending a sect with more than one Domain Lord Realm Expert was not a wise choice, Elder Song would always be able to escape back inside the Chaotic Qi Formation in case the other party tried anything.

…

”I wonder if this is the correct choice…”

A few minutes before Elder Song had been informed about someone showing up at the entrance of the sect, a female figure appeared below the Ninth Star Peak with a nervous expression on her face.

This person was none other than Elder Sheng Mei, the old Nascent Soul Realm Elder from the Flame Sky Kingdom that wanted to establish a friendly relationship with the Star Shattering Sect.

After it had been decided that the Flame Sky Kingdom would take a wait and see attitude while waiting for one of their ancestors to break through to the Domain Lord Realm, Shen Mei had felt that doing so would damage their possible future relationship with the Star Shattering Sect.

Especially considering that Elder Hong Xuan, who wanted to fight it out with the Star Shattering Sect to the end by relying on the ancient formation that protected the capital of the Flame Sky Kingdom, had started gaining more power within the capital over the past few months…

For this reason, Sheng Mei had decided to take the risk and go to the Star Shattering Sect herself to try and see if she could get the help of the Shattering Star Sect in helping her convince the Flame Sky Kingdom to join them instead of doing what Elder Hong Xuan was planning…

All things considered, the Star Shattering Sect would not lose anything by doing this and might even be able to avoid a fight with the Flame Sky Kingdom in the future this way!

The only problem is… How do I convince them that Iʼm really trying to make the Flame Sky Kingdom join the Star Shattering Sect and that Iʼm not just someone trying to get my hands on the resources of the Star Shattering Sect to increase my own strength before running away…

Shaking her head as she thought about this, Shen Mei walked up to the entrance leading up the Ninth Star Peak and informed the elder standing guard at the gate about who she was and why she had come.

Whoosh~

”Hehe~”

Watching the elder showing a shocked expression on his face after hearing what she said before dashing up the Ninth Star Peak and disappearing from sight the next moment, Sheng Mei could not help chuckling to herself at how panicked the elder had been after realizing how strong she was.

That little elder should just recently have reached the Nascent Soul Realm… But, to think that someone at the Nascent Soul Realm actually guards the entrance of the sect…

Thinking this to herself, Sheng Mei could not help looking forward to seeing the Star Shattering Sect, a sect with more than one Domain Lord Realm Expert behind it!
