Chapter 1112: Chapter 437: Qiuqiu Starts Her New Job, Jing’s Thought Process_2

Compared to such large enterprises, Songmei Clothing is still lacking in many aspects.

Cheng Qiuyu shook her head silently, “I don’t want to go.”

She knew her own personality.

In daily interactions, she seemed a bit indifferent even to friends, let alone colleagues.

During the few months at Inspiration Design, it seemed she didn’t really get along with anyone.

She often felt lonely and down at work.

And at a big company like Zhongcheng Group, she would definitely feel worse.

“That’s good.” Gao Mengting said with a smile: “To be honest, I really can’t bear to lose a talent like you. Our branding department is very important, and with your addition, I will feel much more at ease.”

“Thank you for your trust, Senior Sister. I will work hard.”

…

At 9 o’clock in the morning.

After putting on makeup, Cheng Qiuyu changed into a new outfit, stood in front of the mirror to look at herself for a long time, and then left the house with her backpack.

She caught a bus at the entrance, and after a wobbly 30-minute ride, she finally arrived outside the Cloud Stream Building.

She checked the time.

9:41.

The scheduled time for starting was 10 o’clock in the morning.

Cheng Qiuyu didn’t go up directly, but stood quietly in the office building lobby, waiting.

She waited until 9:55 before registering at the front desk and walking into the elevator area.

She felt the lift under her feet as the floors rapidly ascended.

“Ding——” The elevator came to a gradual stop on the 30th floor.

Right across, there was a conspicuous nameplate that read “Songmei Clothing Trading Co., Ltd.”

Stepping out of the elevator, Cheng Qiuyu’s heart started to beat faster involuntarily.

This feeling came unexpectedly, yet it was particularly intense.

She took a deep breath to calm her restless heart.

With a composed face, Cheng Qiuyu walked towards the main door.

The first thing she saw was a spacious and bright reception area with a simple and grand design.

The reception desk had a sleek and smooth shape, with clear lines that managed to maintain elegance.

The countertop was clean and tidy, with a few delicate green plants placed on it, alongside neatly arranged company brochures and visitor logbooks.

On the background wall with a metallic texture, the company’s logo in lemon yellow was embedded.

Seeing the familiar “logo icon,” Cheng Qiuyu’s eyes wandered slightly.

At that time, she was taking a nap in the dormitory when she suddenly received the requirement document from Gao Mengting.

She was about to graduate and was urgently looking for a rental apartment.

Being afraid, she dared not rent alone and didn’t know who to share with.

So when she received this side gig, she put in extra effort, hoping to use this opportunity to get closer to Senior Sister Mengting and ask if she could share an apartment with her.

That’s how a series of stories began.

The front desk girl stood up and smiled, “Hello, is there anything I can help you with?”

Cheng Qiuyu quickly came back to her senses and said politely, “I’m here to complete the onboarding process, my name is Cheng Qiuyu.”

“Okay, one moment please!” The front desk girl quickly bowed her head and flipped through some documents, taking out a personal information sheet and walking out from behind the reception desk, warmly saying, “Let’s go, Qiuyu, I’ll take you there.”

“Thank you.”

Walking on the thick sound-absorbing carpet, she passed through the spacious and bright corridor.

Cheng Qiuyu curiously looked around, her eyes full of amazement.

This office environment was surprisingly good, completely free of the cramped and shabby feel common in startups.

Compared to her previous experience at Inspiration Design, this place was a total dimensionality reduction.

After making two turns in the office area, Cheng Qiuyu belatedly realized that this entire floor was occupied by Songmei Clothing.

“Creak——” The front desk girl pushed open the door to a small meeting room, “Please wait here; I’ll go get HR.”

“Okay.”

She waited for less than two minutes.

A girl wearing professional attire walked in with a big smile and said, “Hello Qiuyu, I am Zhang Ying from the Human Resources Department. Welcome to the Songmei family.”

“Hello, thank you,” Cheng Qiuyu quickly bowed politely.

“Alright, please have a seat. I’ve already prepared your onboarding documents, all you need to do is sign. Let me first explain to you about our company and your job duties.”

After all, being someone personally arranged by President Gao, Zhang Ying was very enthusiastic.

Soon, with Zhang Ying’s clear voice, Cheng Qiuyu got a basic understanding of the company and her department.

The branding department has just been established, with 4 teams.

They are: Strategic Team, Brand Visual Team, Live Broadcast Visual Team, Content Hub.

She is the first employee of the Brand Visual Team, responsible for the VI system and packaging design.

After her onboarding, one more designer will be recruited to work with her on design tasks.

In other words, she is the small supervisor of this team.

Meanwhile, the company will also contract with a 4A company’s (Star Cloud International’s) art director as a consulting advisor to better complete the work.

Subsequently, she received her employment contract.

The position was indeed as the leader of the Brand Visual Team, with a monthly salary of 10,000, plus extra performance bonuses, six social insurances, and one housing fund, paid sick leave, annual leave, compensatory rest for overtime, etc. The benefits were very comprehensive.

Compared to Inspiration Design, this place felt more like a formal big company.

The salary offered to her was exceptionally high, even high enough to make her a bit uneasy.

After completing the onboarding and receiving her ID badge and employment contract in a daze, Cheng Qiuyu was led to the office area of the branding department.

Zhang Ying cheerfully said, “Hello, handsome and beautiful colleagues, let’s warmly welcome our department’s new member, the beautiful designer…Cheng Qiuyu!”

Immediately, other colleagues in the branding department stood up, enthusiastically applauding and welcoming her.

“Finally, our department has a representative of beauty!”
