Charm point maxed out, inheriting game assets

Chapter 388: Chapter 236 Gathering Emotion Gold’s offer_3 Chapter 388: Chapter 236 Gathering Emotion Gold’s offer_3 The intense excitement and allure of money made her feel an urgent need to pee.

“Ssssss”

As Lin Muxue was using the bathroom, she quickly messaged Tang Song, “I’ve received the offer, and I’ve successfully resigned on my side. I’ll start at Gathering Emotion Gold tomorrow. Also, I want to move some of my stuff to YJTC today. When will you be free?”

[Tang Song: “Wait for me at the coffee shop downstairs, I’ll come down soon and give you the access card, you can set it up yourself.”]

Lin Muxue: “Okay, okay, I’ve packed up and I’m coming down right away.”

She wiped herself clean and quickly got up.

Lin Muxue looked at herself in the bathroom mirror and smiled satisfactorily.

She had just returned to her desk.

A woman in a dark blue business suit walked in, around twenty-five or twenty-six, wearing heavy makeup and carrying herself seductively.

Seeing Lin Muxue holding her bag, her eyebrows slightly raised.

“Xue, heading home for a break so early? That doesn’t comply with company policy. I just sent you a document on DingTalk; help me print it and mail it to the client. The address and contact details are in the second attachment.”

“Sorry Ping, I’ve already resigned.” As she spoke, Lin Muxue smirked disdainfully, “Did you come back from a business trip with Manager Xu? That must have been tough, right?”

This Hao Yanping had joined the company along with her, previously working in the administration department too.

Initially, their relationship was quite good, seemingly harmonious on the surface.

Later, when the other party suddenly became the assistant to the marketing department manager Xu Desheng, she started showing her true colors, challenging her from time to time.

As for the reasons, Lin Muxue could guess.

Initially, Xu Desheng actually wanted her to be the assistant, since she was the most attractive in terms of looks and figure, and he promised very tempting treatment.

The true intent was obvious to anyone who was not a fool.

He just wanted to sleep with her, didn’t he?

After she rejected him, he then turned to Hao Yanping.

Indeed, there were many beautiful women in the financial company, but so were the temptations.

Xu Desheng, in his early forties, had a rugged face and a tall and well-proportioned figure. As a senior executive, he possessed the charm of a mature man.

More importantly, he was still single and very popular among women in the company.

Hao Yanping clearly couldn’t resist and willingly became this female assistant.

Afterwards, she always saw her as a competitor, constantly seeking to edge her out.

This was also why she deliberately maintained a wealthy and beautiful persona in the company, which saved her a lot of trouble.

Hearing Lin Muxue’s sarcasm, Hao Yanping didn’t react much, instead she chuckled, “You’ve finally seen the light, that’s good, strive to find a job with better prospects. No matter how long you work at the reception, you can only help with mail and receive visitors.”

At this moment, some colleagues who had heard about her resignation gathered around.

“Muxue, why suddenly resign while everything was going well?”

“Are you planning to go back home and take over the family business, or have you found another job?”

Lin Muxue’s face brightened with a radiant smile as she looked into Hao Yanping’s eyes, “I indeed have switched to a new job, mainly because I want to challenge myself and not waste any more time.

Tomorrow I will join Slover (HK) Trust Company Limited as the senior secretary for the trust fund committee.

Oh right, although it’s a foreign company, it has a branch in Yan City, located on the entire 29th floor of CY Building.

I won’t be working at the Xiang River headquarters for now; rather, I’ll manage the committee’s affairs here in Yan City, so we can still get together sometime.

And since it’s also a financial investment company, Yan City isn’t big; you never know, we might end up working with Rongxin Venture Capital in the future.”

Her English was actually quite mediocre, and her spoken English was even worse, but when she pronounced the English name of Gathering Emotion Gold, it was exceptionally smooth and fluid, with a distinct intonation.

Aspiring to this trust fund position, she had almost been reciting the name in her dreams.

This deluge of information stunned her old colleagues.

Hao Yanping’s face flushed red and then turned pale, filled with mixed feelings.

However, she still couldn’t quite believe it; she had seen Lin Muxue’s resume, which was just ordinary college-level.

How could she possibly run off to an offshore trust company as an executive?

A male colleague from risk control was taken aback and blurted out, “Slover Trust? Gathering Emotion Gold?”

Lin Muxue crossed her arms, her chin slightly raised, “Brother Zhan, have you heard of our company?”

Brother Zhan grimaced, his voice dry as he responded, “Our risk control data and their information are shared. The chairman has visited President Qin of the trust committee.”

An idea flashed through Lin Muxue’s mind as she remembered something Qin Yingxue had said.

[“Oh, I’ve met Chairman Li Xinguo a few times and have worked with Rongxin Venture Capital.”]

“Oh.” She kept her composure, mimicking Qin Yingxue’s tone lightly, “Yes, it’s President Qin Yingxue; she indeed knows Chairman Li Xinguo and has cooperated with him.”

Although she didn’t know Qin Yingxue’s real identity, standing alongside Mo Xiangwan was enough to say a lot.

Rongxin Venture Capital was quite formidable in Yan City, managing funds over 10 billion.

Founded by several local entrepreneurs focused on providing investment financing and credit risk assessment services for small and micro-enterprises.

As the chairman, Li Xinguo indeed had the qualifications to know important figures like Qin Yingxue.

“Yes, yes, that’s the one, President Qin.” Brother Zhan licked his lips, his gaze towards Lin Muxue completely changed.

Or rather, the way her colleagues looked at her had changed.

Prior to this, despite her efforts to project an image of wealth and beauty, they hadn’t felt much impact.
