Wearing a casual business outfit, Gao Mengting came over and gently smiled, “I heard you all shouting for President Tang just as I stepped out of the elevator.”

Zhang Ying pulled her arm and loudly said, “President Gao, it has been over a month since our company was established, and as HR, I think it’s time to organize a team-building event! It will enhance our team’s cohesion and fighting spirit!”

“Hmm… you have a point,” Gao Mengting patted her head, “Does Zhang from HR have any ideas?”

With a playful wink, Zhang Ying suggested, “How about we all go to a bar and watch the live concert of Su Yu on the 20th? Those with families should bring them along for a grand time!”

Upon hearing this, everyone else got excited.

If it’s under the guise of team building, the company could reimburse all expenses, so no one would have to spend their own money.

After a moment of thought, Gao Mengting said, “Let’s wait for President Tang to arrive and discuss it in a meeting.”

“Alright! Let’s follow the leader’s decision!”

After a few jokes among themselves, everyone quickly returned to their work.

The office was a scene of busy activity.

For them, it was just an ordinary morning, no different from usual.

…

10 o’clock in the morning.

After sorting through the resumes filtered out by Zhang Ying, Gao Mengting sat in her small office looking around.

A deep fondness flashed through her eyes.

The office was only about 8 square meters, originally a part of the finance room.

But currently, Songmei Clothing only had Sun Youguang as an accountant, which wasn’t enough to use it, so it had become her private office.

With plants, pillows, blankets, decorations, and walls full of sticky notes…

Bit by bit, the place had become very cozy.

As the company was expanding, she might leave this office in a week or two.

She had asked Tang Song about it, but his answer was evasive, telling her not to worry and just focus on her work, as he would handle everything.

As a partner, she naturally trusted him.

Thinking of Tang Song, Gao Mengting took a deep breath and glanced at the frame beside her computer.

It was their first photo together, taken on the day Songmei Clothing was established.

He indeed had changed a lot, but some things had remained the same.

Looking at the photo, the scene from that day seemed to flash before her eyes.

Her left arm was around Tang Song’s right arm, her head slightly tilted to the left, both of them wearing happy smiles.

With her high heels on, her head just reached his nose.

Back then, Tang Song was very shy and a bit stiff, nothing like the relaxed and easy-going person he is now.

She also remembered her bold words at the time.

“Tang Song, years from now, when Songmei Clothing successfully goes public and we ring the bell at the stock exchange, let’s look at this photo again. This is where our dream started…”

“Where the dream started…” she murmured a few times, taking a deep breath.

This truly was where her dream had started.

She was always a sentimental person, which was why she was reluctant to leave.

“Knock knock knock—,” the sound of knocking suddenly came.

“Come in!” Gao Mengting quickly gathered her thoughts and sat upright.

“Creak—” The glass door was gently pushed open, and HR Zhang Ying peeked half of her body in, excitedly saying, “President Gao! President Tang has asked us to gather in the office area; he has a major announcement to make!”

Hearing this, Gao Mengting quickly stood up, “Let’s go.”

She probably guessed what it was about; what was to come had finally come.

Upon arriving at the office area, all 16 currently employed staff were present.

They were quietly discussing what the big news could be.

Their faces were filled with excitement and anticipation.

“Tat tat tat—” The sound of leather shoes heavily stepping on the carpet echoed.

“President Tang,” “President Tang!”

The chatter stopped instantly, all eyes turned toward him.

Wearing a shirt and trousers, the tall and handsome Tang Song entered the office area, his face wearing a faint smile.

Several female staff members instantly felt refreshed.

Having such an attractive boss made them feel motivated to work.

He Liting’s cheeks turned pink, thinking of her goofy behavior in the office, and she felt a bit guilty and dared not meet his eyes.

After scanning around, Tang Song greeted Liu Mingchang.

He stood in front of the staff, paused for a moment, and then clearly said, “I promised everyone that if our GMV exceeded one million in May, I’d give you a big surprise. Now, it’s time for me to fulfill that promise.”

The crowd first went silent, then burst into cheers.

“Long live!” “President Tang is so generous!” “President Tang, I love you!”

A “big surprise” from the usually extravagant and generous President Tang would definitely be extraordinary.

Tang Song chuckled lightly and said, “Alright, now is the time to witness a miracle; let me take you to see the surprise I’ve prepared.”

Then, his gaze turned to Gao Mengting and he beckoned her over.

Gao Mengting hesitated for a moment, then a bright smile spread across her face, and she briskly walked to his side, standing shoulder to shoulder with him.

“Tat tat tat—”,” click click click—”

Amidst the chaos of footsteps, everyone exited the great doors of Songmei Clothing and entered the corridor.

Puzzlement and astonishment appeared on the staff’s faces.

The outspoken Hou Yan couldn’t help but ask, “President Tang, is the surprise outside?”

“Just follow me,” Tang Song said with a mysterious expression, continuing forward.

They quickly passed through the corridor and arrived in front of the office across.

The bright and clear glass door was locked, and with no lights inside, it seemed quite mysterious.
