Chapter 368: Chapter 230: How do I tell my boyfriend about my bizarre hobbies? Chapter 368: Chapter 230: How do I tell my boyfriend about my bizarre hobbies? June 12, 2023, Monday, clear, 17~31°C.

In the speeding high-speed train’s business carriage.

“Ding-dong—””Ding-dong—”

Notification tones kept coming from the Bluetooth headset.

Tang Song sat quietly in his seat, with a Macbook, coffee, and several packets of snacks in front of him.

His slender, agile fingers tapped on the keyboard.

It was Monday, and a large volume of work accumulated over the weekend rushed in.

Business proposals from Huashang Clothing, audit proposals…

Executive meeting reports from Jinxiu Commerce, progress reports from the technical support division…

Of course, most of it was from Songmei Clothing: budgets, procurement, reimbursement applications, recruitment…

It’s worth mentioning that Liu Mingchang formally joined us this morning as the director of the company’s warehousing and logistics department.

At the time, Tang Song was in a suite at the Bvlgari Hotel and had a video chat with him.

Now, Songmei Clothing was fully on track, and the expansion of departments was almost complete, in the midst of joint recruitment with Knowledgeable.

As the company’s boss, he had a lot more work than usual.

Even though Gao Mengting took on most of the decision-making, when it came to finance and human resources, he still needed to approve personally.

Fortunately, the OA system he developed was sufficiently comprehensive, saving a substantial amount of energy and time.

The reason why he was hurrying back to Yan City was not only to attend a meeting at Jinxiu Commerce but also for a very important matter.

The 1810 square-meter office area on the 30th floor of the Cloud Stream Building was finally renovated.

The challenge “Shocking the Employees” could now be undertaken.

After all, the size of the “shocking gift package” was directly related to the shock value of employees in the live broadcast room.

Besides the high-specification live broadcast room, he also prepared a gift that would exhilarate the employees.

Outside the window were buildings and fields racing backwards, while inside the carriage, Tang Song, wearing glasses, was spirited and fully engaged in efficient work.

His thinking was clear, his replies succinct and brisk.

With comprehension breaking through 80, he could clearly notice changes within himself, feeling more adept at anything he did, and his learning efficiency was extremely high.

He took a moment to open the system panel and take a look.

…

In the Youjie Housekeeping general manager’s office.

Zhang Tianqi reclined in his boss chair, speaking in a gentle tone, “Yuyan, as you saw, Hou Shaoyuan and Wang Ning have a big issue with Tang Song. We are a team after all, and if a new shareholder disrupts the unity of the company, I feel it might be better not to go through with the financing.”

Shen Yuyan’s lips were tightly pressed, her eyes sparkling with complex emotions, “We’re raising additional funds and expanding our shareholding, the involvement of Tang Song will make our capital more abundant and will raise our post-investment valuation; there are only benefits, no drawbacks, for our development.”

The biggest limitation to Youjie Housekeeping’s development right now is capital, and since housekeeping companies don’t have much of a story to tell, and the market is transparent, it’s difficult to attract funds.

Tang Song’s willingness to invest was out of goodwill, considering the face of his close friend Qingqing.

Besides the money, she actually valued Tang Song as a person and was keen on bringing such an outstanding young talent into the team, to revitalize the company.

Zhang Tianqi was silent for a moment, then said, “We two are founding partners of the team; if you insist on doing this, I will support you, but… you have to think it through, whether it’s worth it, and whether it’s necessary to take this risk. Hou Shaoyuan is our angel investor and vice president, and Wang Ning is our technical director; we have to consider their opinions.”

He was happy to see the company increase its capital and expand its shares, but not keen on taking risks himself.

His family wasn’t as wealthy as Hou Shaoyuan’s, but still had a significant business.

The housekeeping company was just something he did on the side, making a bit of money using his uncle’s connections and proving to his family that he was more capable than his brother, who only knew how to spend money.

He wasn’t really optimistic about this industry; the competition was extremely fierce, and the profit margins were low.

If he were to put in the effort, he’d rather manage his own family’s food factory properly.

The reason he agreed to partner with Shen Yuyan, aside from her ability to attract customers through her internet celebrity account, was her outstanding capability, which allowed him to act as an absentee owner with peace of mind.

Moreover, starting a business and working with the school beauty was also a form of bragging rights.

At least for the past two years, he earned plenty of face among his college peers, and his initial investment has also multiplied several times.

For him, this was sufficient.

If Shen Yuyan could bring in the investment, he would definitely support it.

However, if this investor could affect the normal development of the company, then careful consideration was required.

Shen Yuyan bit her lip, torn, “I understand what you mean, but…”

Just then, knockings “thud, thud, thud” suddenly sounded at the door.

“Come in!” Zhang Tianqi sat upright, giving Shen Yuyan a meaningful glance.

Following that, Hou Shaoyuan walked in, dressed in casual attire.

Looking at Shen Yuyan, he said, “Yuyan, I was a bit abrupt during the meeting, don’t take it to heart, okay?”
