Charm point maxed out, inheriting game assets

Chapter 42: Chapter 41: Determine Direction Chapter 42: Chapter 41: Determine Direction He had chatted with Zhao Yaqian for a while, and Tang Song’s worries were put to rest.

For now, it seemed that there were no issues between him and this beautician friend.

As for why she hadn’t replied to his invitation to go shopping, it was probably some sort of girlish notion.

He had never been good at understanding these kinds of things, just as he could never guess what his first love was thinking.

He shook his head, casting aside his complicated thoughts.

Tang Song reopened the system interface, his eyes fixed on the balance section.

[Balance: 63,000 yuan (Investment: 1 million yuan)]

Debt-free at last, with net assets of 1.063 million yuan and continuously generating new income under the influence of the “popular me” title.

It had truly achieved a certain degree of financial freedom.

The feeling was indeed splendid.

Money might not be omnipotent, but it could solve 99% of ordinary people’s problems.

After staring at his asset information for a good while, Tang Song suddenly slapped his forehead.

Right, it was time to change his parents’ phones.

They were still using an old Honor model from years ago with a Kirin 710 processor, which was struggling. His dad often complained about the lack of memory.

Tang Song immediately opened his computer and browsed on JD.com for a while.

Eventually, he ordered two Honor 80 Pros.

The phones were slim and the system was familiar and easy to master, with screens that were easier on the eyes.

He chose black for his dad and pink for his mom, both with the highest configuration of 12+512G, totaling 7,600 yuan.

After buying the phones, Tang Song looked at his balance again, still feeling a bit impulsive.

The refrigerator at home had been in use for over ten years, bought when he was in middle school, with a capacity of 185L, which no longer satisfied his mom’s cooking needs and was especially noisy.

His parents were used to eating leftovers; a microwave was essential.

Then there was the TV at home, small in size and low in resolution, not eye-friendly for his parents.

…

Shortly after Tang Song graduated, his family had undergone changes, and life had always been tight.

After paying off the debts, he needed to save money to buy a house and get married.

The home’s appliances and furniture had always been makeshift, desperately in need of an upgrade.

Now that he was not short of money, naturally, it was time to fulfill this wish first.

After going through the purchases, he tallied up the cost and had spent nearly 20,000 yuan. Looking at a long list of orders, he felt a great sense of accomplishment.

He picked up his phone and sent a WeChat message to his mom: “Mom, I recently took some freelance gigs and made some money. I’ve bought some things for the house; they should arrive in the next few days. Remember to receive them, okay?”

Having done all that, Tang Song stretched, leaned back in his chair, and opened Little Red Book.

He planned to gather some advice from netizens, to make a simple plan for his next video production, which was crucial as it was his main source of income now and needed careful attention.

He opened the note he had posted in the morning.

It had only over 500 views, and both likes and comments were in single digits.

He read and replied to the few comments below it earnestly. Tang Song’s brows slightly furrowed.

It seemed that the data had been getting worse in recent days, and the enthusiasm from the netizens was low.

Tang Song clicked on the notes he had recently posted, analyzed them for a while, and slowly realized the problem.

To attract followers and gain popularity, he had been posting almost daily.

Apart from occasional styling, meeting celebrities, and traveling, most posts chronicled his meals, exercise, and weight.

After the initial curiosity, netizens’ desire to peek into these topics had declined.

In the realm of amateur transformations, only content that truly had interesting points, conflicts, and was comparative would have a market.

Realizing this, Tang Song’s ideas instantly clear up.

If he wanted to accumulate followers through natural traffic, he needed to opt for a quality route.

Target a flaw, make targeted improvements, and create content with a strong contrast, interweaving experiences on transformations.

This not only satisfied the netizens’ desire to see growth but also had an educational tutorial aspect, which was truly suitable for his long-term approach.

Then, Tang Song began to seriously look through the comments on his previous notes.

Some advised him on skin care, others on hair care, some suggested he try makeup, and there were plenty of fashion suggestions.

When he scrolled to one of the posts, a lengthy comment caught his attention.

[Little Red Riding Hood: “The blogger, a good posture is very important, it can make you look more elegant and upright. Your neck leans forward quite severely. Entrusted by Yaoling, I’ve put together a corrective tutorial. Stand straight, cross your arms behind you, let your shoulders sink…”]

The detailed comment had been written below, running into several hundred words, complete with a few images, and was very thoughtful.

The date showed it was sent a few days ago. At that time, he was busy buying a car, taking possession of a house, and on a road trip, and had not noticed this comment.

Posture correction was indeed a good direction, as his previous selfies and videos were the most realistic daily states.

Slouchy shoulders, hunched back, shrugged shoulders, and forward leaning neck were all real posture issues that affected his appearance.

If he could correct these, creating a before-and-after comparison video, the results should be very good.

Tang Song copied Little Red Riding Hood’s comment to the notepad and commented, “Received, thanks for the guru’s guidance. I’ll start practicing today.”

After sending the message, Tang Song was surprised to see a familiar ID below the lengthy comment.

[Yaoling: “This is a guru I hired for you at a high cost, who has danced from a young age. Following her advice is definitely right!”]

This is what a truly valuable follower is all about!

Not only offering advice herself but also mobilizing resources around her.

Tang Song couldn’t help but like her comment and replied, “Thanks a lot to the beautiful lady for your ongoing support and encouragement. Contact me when you visit Yan City, I’ll take care of food and accommodation!”]

…

In the afternoon, Tang Song submitted a vacation request for Monday through the OA system.

Then he took the opportunity to do a requirement analysis as an excuse and had a good chat with a few colleagues from the sales department.

Mainly, it was a simple understanding of the operation models of online distributors and e-commerce companies. These sales staff, being in direct contact with these channel customers, knew the most about them.

Back at his desk, after organizing the information he had gathered over the past two days, Tang Song was more certain of his direction for starting his own business.

Apparel-focused live e-commerce.

This was one of the industry models with the highest survival and success rates at the moment.

The e-commerce platforms broke geographical limits, reduced operational costs, cut down on intermediaries, and increased operational efficiency.

Through big data analysis, potential consumer groups could be more accurately identified, optimizing inventory management and reducing the risk of inventory backlogs.

Given his current situation, with Gao Mengting, an industry insider, willing to help, the feasibility was very high.
