Charm point maxed out, inheriting game assets

Chapter 8: Chapter 8 I’ve Made Up My Mind to Befriend You! Chapter 8: Chapter 8 I’ve Made Up My Mind to Befriend You! After browsing through the VAM Agreement, Tang Song pondered for a while and figured out the rules of the game.

The “Zhao Yaqian” referred to must be the beautician Qianqian who is currently helping him with his eyebrows.

If one considers “the progress of his relationship with Zhao Yaqian” as a project,

the “VAM Money” would be the investment.

The entire project has three phased goals.

When they become WeChat friends, this investment will expand to 1.5 times its original value.

When they become real friends, this investment will expand to 3 times its original value.

When he gains Zhao Yaqian’s favor, this investment will expand to 6 times its original value.

The inflated investment can be cashed out.

This is very similar to the investment agreements in the real-world financial markets, but the cash-out method is much simpler.

He entered the “Personal Center” to check his asset information.

[Balance: 51020.80 yuan]

If he invested 50,000 yuan, and he managed to gain her favor within a month, he could cash out 300,000 yuan.

For him at the moment, this was surely a huge sum, and his charm value would definitely increase as well, making it hard not to be tempted.

Thinking of this, Tang Song slightly opened his eyes.

What was close at hand were a pair of slender hands with round and neat nails, free of calluses and dead skin, looking very attractive.

Through the clean makeup mirror, he could see Zhao Yaqian concentrating on her work.

At the age of around 20, brimming with vitality, dressed neatly, tall and graceful with her hair neatly netted behind her head.

From her appearance, she was an exceptionally outstanding girl.

If it had been Tang Song from a week ago, he wouldn’t have had the courage to approach her at all.

At most, he would have shyly added her on WeChat and then slowly tried to become friends with her through sincerity and warmth.

As for an ambiguous relationship, that was entirely out of the question.

But now he was becoming better and better, his life was about to take off, it was a time full of pride and ambition.

Without much hesitation, he directly entered 50000.00 yuan using his consciousness where it said “Please enter the VAM Amount: ____”.

“Ding! VAM Agreement has been signed, and the event is in progress.”

Right after that, Tang Song’s phone in his pocket vibrated.

He checked his asset information again.

[Balance: 1020.80 yuan]

For a moment, Tang Song felt a void in his heart and a little panicked.

He had been working in Imperial City for over two years, and all the money he made at first went into paying off his family’s debts; these 40,000-plus yuan he had managed to save with difficulty.

He was really afraid the system might take off with the money.

“Bro, I’ve roughly finished here; do you have any specific requirements for your eyebrows?” Zhao Yaqian stopped her movements.

Tang Song looked at his eyebrows that had become very neat and felt great, he laughed and said, “I don’t know much about it, how about you decide? As long as it looks good.”

“Alright, then I’ll shape a standard men’s eyebrow for you based on your face shape.”

Zhao Yaqian picked up a small pair of scissors and started working, with a hesitant look on her face.

If it had been Sister Li who was overseeing her, she would have been chatting non-stop with the customer by now.

Starting from talking about work and life together, building rapport, then leading him step by step to sign up for a card and top up his account.

But Zhao Yaqian wasn’t good with words, and she just couldn’t bring herself to say these practiced lines—that was why she had always struggled to pass job interviews.

As she was frantically building herself up mentally,

Tang Song suddenly opened his mouth and asked, “Sister, I want to improve my skin condition, where do you think I should start?”

Hearing the other person actually take the initiative to talk about skincare, Zhao Yaqian got so excited that she almost shouted out; her facial expression instantly became much more animated.

She earnestly replied, “First of all, of course, it’s cleansing. Your skin is a typical oil field, with abundant sebaceous glands and a thick stratum corneum, which easily causes the skin to become dull and clogs the pores…”

“Then do you have any recommendations?”

“You can use an amino acid combined with APG facial cleanser; you can find one online for dozens of yuan that will last a long time!”

“Got it, I’ve noted it down; what else should I pay attention to besides cleansing?”

“Hydration!” Zhao Yaqian touched Tang Song’s face, “I suggest you choose a toner that can soothe acne and regulate oil-water balance, the pricier kind, which can cleanse a second time and adjust skin pH levels…”

Feeling the moist touch on his cheek, Tang Song’s eyelashes trembled.

They chatted casually for a while.

Zhao Yaqian suddenly realized she should have been promoting the store’s services instead of showing off her knowledge and imparting experience!

She gave an awkward smile and abruptly changed the subject, saying somewhat apologetically, “Well, we offer professional skincare services here, and you’ll see results with just one course of treatment. If you’re interested, you should know about our promotion now, it’s a really good deal.”

“How about we add each other on WeChat, and you can send me the details?” Tang Song suggested, seizing the opportunity to achieve his main objective.

“Sure! I’ll scan you in a bit.” Zhao Yaqian finally breathed a sigh of relief, and using a damp cotton towel, she wiped his forehead and said with a smile, “Done, see how it looks?”

Tang Song opened his eyes, and the previously unruly eyebrows had taken on a new shape.

Proper density, thinner at the head with a slight upward tilt at the end, and a perfect turn at the arch.

The entire eye area’s charm value had gone up a notch.

He also looked more spirited.

“Very satisfied!” Tang Song praised sincerely and successfully added Zhao Yaqian on WeChat.

“Ding! [VAM Agreement] Condition 1 has been met! Current VAM Money has ballooned to 75,000.00 yuan.”

The system notification rang out as expected, and Tang Song felt inflated as well.

Twenty-five thousand made in less than half an hour!

The power of game items is terrifying indeed!

His gaze towards Zhao Yaqian grew even hotter, seeing her as a little treasure trove that could burst with Gold Coins.

After paying 367 yuan at the cashier, he chatted with Zhao Yaqian for a bit more.

Tang Song left the salon and headed straight to the shoe section of the mall.

Like cutting through a knot, he spent 399 yuan to buy a pair of light-colored Converse canvas shoes.

His balance instantly dropped to 254.8 yuan.

Thinking about the long road ahead with the VAM Agreement with Zhao Yaqian, and that expenses were inevitable, he went straight to open his Alipay and checked his Huabei credit limit: 20,000 yuan.

Without a second thought, he withdrew it.

In times of need, one still had to rely on the old reliable!

He reopened the [Personal Center] interface.

[Balance: 20,254.80 yuan] (Borrowed 20,000 yuan)

The word ‘borrowed’ was highlighted in red, clearly reminding him that funds added this way wouldn’t be included in his charm score.

…

Back at his rental in Fresh Home.

Tang Song stood in front of the full-length mirror, carefully examining himself.

Weight down to 84 kilograms, full of vitality, decently dressed, hair fluffed up.

He looked much better compared to a week ago.

The only disappointment was that his face was still a mess.

Aside from being overweight, the biggest issue was his skin.

In fact, skin has the most significant impact on a person’s attractiveness.

Having clean and delicate skin is like having a beauty filter in real life, able to cover many flaws.

Perhaps that was also an important reason why the VAM Agreement chose the beautician Zhao Yaqian.

Everyone’s skin is different, that’s true, and as skin issues improve, one must also periodically update their skincare routine.

It’s tough to handle this quickly through self-learning; it requires a lot of experience.

Having a beautician friend like her would certainly make his path to transformation and revival much smoother.

“Dingdong—” The WeChat notification sound echoed.

[Zhao Yaqian: Promotional Poster.jpg]

[Zhao Yaqian: “I’ve sent over the details of the promotion, contact me anytime if you have any questions (#smileyface)”]

He opened the promotional poster to look.

[Recharge a card with 1,998 yuan, enjoy 20% off all services, get 3 complimentary basic facial treatments, 1 VIP treatment, and choose any product priced at 998 yuan for free.]

Without hesitating, Tang Song transferred 2,000 yuan right away.

He left a message: “Please make me a card, I’ll come to the store to pick it up when I’m free.”

This friend, I’m keeping for sure!
