Charm point maxed out, inheriting game assets

Chapter 39: Chapter 38: It’s You! Chapter 39: Chapter 38: It’s You! After hanging up the phone,

Tang Song sat on the sofa and waited for about four or five minutes before his phone rang again.

He answered the call.

“Hello, Mr. Tang, I’m sorry to keep you waiting! Under normal circumstances, with the production schedule and your selected options, it would take about 60 days.” The female customer service representative paused, then continued, “However, our President Zhao has made a request to the headquarters, and we can transfer a vehicle from another region for you. The color and option package will match exactly with your order, and you can come to pick up the car and get it registered on Monday.”

She emphasized the words “President Zhao” as if trying to convey something.

“Okay, thank you very much.”

“You’re welcome, you’re welcome! This is your phone number, right? I’ll add your WeChat and send you the details for picking up the car later. If you have any questions, you can contact me at any time.”

“Yes, it is.”

“Alright, then I won’t disturb you any further, goodbye!”

After ending the call, Tang Song couldn’t help but clench his fist.

Today was Thursday, which meant he could get the car in just three more days; this pace exceeded his expectations by far.

Checking the time, Tang Song gathered his things and quickly went downstairs.

The three days of annual leave he had requested were up; he had to go to work at the company today and take the opportunity to refine his business plan.

Driving among the traffic, he looked at the passing cars.

Without meaning to, Tang Song compared them with the BMW 330i that would soon be his.

None of them seemed as cool as his “little 3”!

He then looked at the steering wheel of the Wuling Hongguang he was holding in his hands.

Suddenly he felt a bit guilty, as if he harbored some dangerous thoughts, akin to those of a scoundrel.

Just a few days ago, when he got his first car, he treasured it immensely.

Now, with a BMW worth 400,000 yuan on the horizon, he immediately began to grow tired of the old and yearn for the new, changing his affections like the wind.

…

At the Linjin Building’s underground parking lot,

Tang Song parked his car and had just stepped out when he saw a pink Audi A5 slowly drive by and stop at a reserved parking spot near the elevator entrance.

To the employees of Jinxiu Commerce, this car was no stranger.

It belonged to the company goddess, the car of Tian Jing from the Human Resources Department, an A5 Coupe in ice berry pink, a two-door, four-seater sports car that was extremely eye-catching and cost just over 400,000 yuan.

The car door clicked gently open.

Carrying a handbag and with her hair done in a ballerina bun, Tian Jing stepped out. Her pale white skin was particularly striking in the dim parking lot.

She wore a knit short sleeve with little bear prints on the top, a striped pleated skirt on the bottom, and a pair of BAPE casual shoes on her feet.

She was dressed like a bubbly young girl.

It seemed she noticed a colleague coming toward her and she paused for a moment.

With her right hand holding her handbag and her left hand waving, she said sweetly, “Good morning.”

“Morning,” Tang Song smiled back, then followed Tian Jing into the elevator where they naturally lapsed into silence.

The two weren’t very familiar with each other, only having exchanged a few words during the company’s Friday afternoon teas.

Tang Song’s biggest impression of her was that she had a pale complexion and a sweet appearance.

“Ding—” The elevator doors slowly opened.

They followed the sparse crowd inside.

Since it was rush hour, after stopping at the first floor, the elevator quickly filled to capacity.

Before he knew it, Tang Song saw a neat ballerina bun appear in front of him.

Looking down, he saw delicate earlobes and a slender, pale neck.

A faint scent of perfume wafted into his nostrils, a very sophisticated fragrance with a fresh green and woody aroma.

Tang Song involuntarily took a deep breath, feeling slightly intoxicated.

The elevator lurched and halted, finally stopping on the 20th floor.

They briskly exited the elevator and headed towards the office area.

“Supervisor Tian, good morning. Looking beautiful today as well.”

“Yuanyuan, you’re teasing me again, just call me Jing.”

“Good morning, Supervisor Tian!”

“Morning.”

Along the way, every colleague she encountered greeted Tian Jing with warm initiative.

It was only upon hearing the title “Supervisor” that Tang Song belatedly remembered.

He had indeed received notifications in the corporate email and DingTalk.

The Human Resources Department had undergone a structural adjustment, and Tian Jing was officially promoted to the position of Compensation Supervisor.

The distribution of employee salaries, performance assessments, and the maintenance of the compensation system all fell within her responsibilities.

Being able to serve as middle management at Jinxiu Commerce at her age showed she clearly had solid backing.

Sitting at his desk, he had a good chat with his colleagues about their driving experiences with the Wuling Hongguang.

Tang Song turned on his computer and began to seriously organize his thoughts on entrepreneurship.

…

“To put it specifically, our company cooperates with brand owners and manufacturers. After obtaining authorization, we act as agents to sell their products. With over a decade of accumulation, deep cultivation in the offline sector, and more than 500 distributors scattered across the entire North Region…”

Tang Song nodded thoughtfully, closed his laptop, and said, “I understand now, Brother Zhang. I’ll head back first.”

Brother Zhang laughed and patted his shoulder, “Alright, feel free to contact me if you have any questions.”

“Sure thing, thanks.”

Leaving the small conference room, he returned to his workstation.

Tang Song looked at the Word document in front of him, feeling overwhelmed and unsure of where to begin.

Throughout the day, under the guise of doing requirements analysis for the business system, he had in-depth discussions with colleagues from the marketing, sales, and channel departments.

He mainly learned about the current market situation of the fashion industry, development trends, competitive landscape, and the company’s business model.

The outcome was far from optimistic; he had thought it was much simpler.

The current fashion industry is fraught with challenges. Both online and offline competition is extremely fierce, creating a vast battleground where countless businesses collapse annually.

Jinxiu Commerce is engaged in the agency and distribution of branded clothing, dealing with channels and supply chains.

This model completely depends on the company’s connections and social resources, something he cannot emulate.

If he wants to sell clothing through e-commerce or physical stores, he still needs to start from scratch and accumulate experience gradually.

For him, who has planned tasks at hand, this is truly a waste of time.

Beyond that, there is a better option—partnering with industry insiders to start a business.

This would indeed be a time-saving and effortless solution.

He has one million yuan in funds, an established office area, and quality supply chain channels.

If he can also find an experienced veteran to manage operations, the likelihood of success is tremendous.

Then, the biggest problem would be the choice of a partner.

Unfortunately, he doesn’t have any friends in the clothing sales industry, and partnering with someone unfamiliar presents significant risks.

Factors like capability and experience are manageable; they can be verified, filtered, and evaluated in many ways.

What Tang Song was most worried about was whether the prospective partner’s values aligned with his own business philosophy.

Otherwise, he would certainly face a heap of trouble in the future.

This type of scenario is all too common in news reports.

After brooding for a while, a name suddenly flashed through Tang Song’s mind.

Gao Mengting!

Although he had only met her once, he was deeply impressed by this girl.

She was attentive, steady, polite, valued relationships, and was also extremely attractive.

A very outstanding talent.

Moreover, she had been in the clothing sales industry for over three years, amassing ample experience and fully qualified to be a partner.

Thinking of her tears when selling the car, her words, the posts in her Moments, and his own Wuling Hongguang.

Tang Song took a deep breath. Excellent! You’re the one!

He pulled out his phone and opened Gao Mengting’s WeChat.

He messaged, “Boss Gao, could you send me the address of your shop? I’d like to come by and buy some clothes this weekend.”
