Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 4320 Enjoying The Day

After making love with lesha, Davis spent some time with her.

The Treasury had frequent visitors. Fortunately, they were not allowed way inside, and they werenʼt caught making love. Even if they did enter, they couldnʼt use their soul sense since it was not only banned but also suppressed by formations.

Hence, they wouldnʼt have been caught.

Davis helped Iesha give out resources to plenty of people. He also learned a lot about distributing resources. It wasnʼt as easy as it seemed, involving a lot of calculations, but born as a royal family member, lesha was fairly educated and able to do many things.

She didnʼt need help when it came to these matters.

During the night, he left lesha and headed towards a battlefield in the distance.

It had a lot of blood marks and death marks.

There, he saw Schleya and Rokushi Mirai training, their moves extremely deadly. ”Stop right there.”

He directly intervened and took Schleya away, leaving Rokushi Mirai speechless.

Taking Schleya to a nearby river that was made using various materials and formations, he made love with her. Schleya was totally caught off guard, so she blushed heavily, not knowing how she would face Rokushi Mirai next time. However, she was totally into it, acting like she hadnʼt had dual cultivation for an untold number of years.

After making love with Schleya until the next morning, he spent some time with her, getting to know about what she was doing nowadays.

Unlike the other women, Schleya kept it all to herself. She wasnʼt the type to be talkative, so he had to take the initiative and get a lot of things out of her.

He learned that she and Rokushi Mirai had become good friends from being just training partners.

”Will she stay or leave?”

”I donʼt know.” Davis responded to Schleyaʼs question, ”What she wants to do is own her prerogative, and I wonʼt stop her, but I have asked her to help me with a few things. She could change her mind, but sheʼs a powerful woman who can use death poison. I would like to have her as a considerable force for our family.”

”Okay, I wonʼt get too close to her then...”

”Why not? You can have deep friendships as long as it isnʼt with men.”

Davis pinched her nose, causing her to be full of smiles. He wanted to have her fully to himself, and that brought her joy. She pounced on him like a cougar, and they had another few rounds before finally separating.

Later that noon, Davis met with Empress Hexena Xylusc as promised and took her to Everlight who was in their garden.

Empress Hexena Xylusc was simply shocked by seeing the amount of powerful resources being nurtured with life energy. It was crazy. The moment she saw the fabled Elysian Jadesoul Fox, she nearly wanted to forget her clan and offer tributes to this fox.

Everlightʼs presence strikingly brought a protective instinct out of any magical beast. As an Emperor-Tier Immortal King Beast, even she found herself wanting to protect Everlight no matter the cost.

”How beautiful, full of majesty...” She absentmindedly uttered as she gazed at Everlightʼs fox form.

Everlightʼs pair of eyes shone golden with a hint of sacred light, gleaming with clarity and majesty. Her white fur that covered her entire body took on a subtle jade-green undertone and, at the same time, possessed a golden sleeve fur over her four limbs. The silvery-golden runes all over her body shone with brilliant radiance, pulsing with extraordinary life energy. However, her nine silvery tails carried a golden hue all the way from the center of her spine to the tip of the tails. At the edge were also twenty-seven silver orbs, three in each tail. They were hidden and couldnʼt be seen. Davis nodded at Everlight before he turned to look at Lea. He walked straight towards her before grabbing her hands and looking at a child who was on the flowerbed, sleeping peacefully.

It was none other than Felix, Leaʼs son. He was around five years old.

”He just played with Mother Everlight for a lot of time before getting tired. There were also others like Arc and Xiesha, but they left to play with Fiora.”

”Thatʼs good.”

Davis nodded absentmindedly, knowing the children liked to come here the most since Everlightʼs presence naturally made everyone peaceful and joyous. Everlight was extremely popular with the children. They liked to cuddle with her every time they came here.

It also managed to keep Everlight occupied instead of tending to the garden alone. He smiled before he turned and kissed Lea on the lips. Her cheeks turned crimson ever so lightly as she reciprocated before turning to look at Empress Hexena Xylusc. He left to go carry Felix, and Lea walked towards the Hex Arachnid Empress and cupped her hands.

”It was as the rumors said. You look entirely like Evelynn,”

Empress Hexena Xylusc blinked. From how this person spoke, it seemed like rumors about her had already spread. She nodded and introduced herself, and they exchanged pleasantries until Davis came back with Felix in his embrace.

Felix still slept peacefully in his fatherʼs arms, his head resting on his shoulder,

With how Davis was soft and silent, Felix didnʼt even realize he was being moved.

”Everlight, do me a favor and cast the Bloodline Impelling Evolution: Regal on a prisoner. We need her true soul essence for a reason.”

”As you wish, master.” Everlight quickly responded.

She turned to look at Empress Hexena Xylusc, ”I suppose the prisoner is in your life ring?”

”Indeed.”

Empress Hexena Xylusc walked into an open space to not disrupt the wonderful environment of the garden and brought out a holding cell. It looked quite plain but was filled with formations.

Inside, there was a Three-Eyed Chromatic Hex Arachnid at Level Nine Immortal Emperor Beast Stage. However, her cultivation was sealed, and her eight legs were restricted by chains while her body was also tied up.

”Who are you all!?”

She growled, looking stunned and offended at the same time.

Everlightʼs presence particularly invoked a gentle reaction even though she was currently furious beyond compare. It helped her retain some clarity after being sealed all those years. She suddenly caught sight of a familiar silhouette, a stature that was in important places in their clan.

”E-Empress...?”

She looked shocked as she saw Empress Hexena Xylusc among the people there.

Empress Hexena Xylusc reacted, ”It is I, young one.”

”Empress Hexena Xylusc! Iʼm... Iʼm also a Xylusc. I am willing to follow you to the ends of the realms!”

The prisoner screamed out, looking excited.
