Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 4314  Empress Hexena Joins

Evelynn smirked.

To be honest, she didnʼt want to let this treasure go. Treasures forged from the apex treasures were not limited by the userʼs own power. They would unleash a power far beyond oneʼs capability.

Davis perfectly fit the black-white stoneʼs requirements, or else, even he would be harmed.

On the other hand, she didnʼt have such a physique. She only had a powerful, self-improving Malevolent Darkness Physique that made her have evil thoughts from time to time, but that was well controllable with a powerful Will.

She had crossed the ninth step of the Stairway of Regression, so her willpower was already extraordinary. Furthermore, she easily suppressed the aggressive nature of the Three-Eyed Chromatic Hex Arachnid bloodline.

Nonetheless, willpower doesnʼt mean anything if oneʼs soul prowess canʼt withstand the so-called hell poison.

She had no doubt that using the hell poison would cause her to be poisoned to death, but with annihilative heavenly poison, she felt she had more chances to survive.

Myria also felt that losing this treasure would be a loss.

Exalts and Primarchs coming after them in the Upper Realms? This would be a great deterrent that gets them shaking in their boots.

If they used it, there would be consequences, but at the same time, it would be perfect as a form of retaliation. She had warned the Celestial Transcendent, her Uncle Supreme, to kill them all at once or suffer the consequences.

She wasnʼt kidding when she said that, and with his treasure, she felt like she could unleash the greatest peril possible.

Even if she died and her soul remained plagued forever due to her undying soul and endured suffering for an eternity, she was willing.

Davis didnʼt know these two had such dangerous thoughts already.

He was quite joyous they managed to bring this big of a treasure from a mere clan rescue operation. As for the troubles it brought, he was willing to take care of them.

He turned to look at Empress Hexena Xylusc.

”Alright, you can do with him as you please. Donʼt kill him. If weʼre caught owning this poisonous treasure, we would be able to use him to clear your clanʼs name and relay the origin of the treasure more clearly. Until then, you would still be evil in the eyes of the world. Is that fine?”

Empress Hexena Xylusc pursed her lips, ”Iʼm sure the clan canʼt wait to get their glory back after gaining vengeance. However, Iʼll let them know this isnʼt the time for glory but rebuilding to become one of the strongest clans under your leadership. Glory will naturally follow suit.”

”As expected of Empress Hexena Xylusc. You are understanding.”

Davis nodded twice in appreciation.

From Evelynn, he already knew that the Three-Eyed Chromatic Hex Arachnids were willing to throw themselves to his rule. They also wanted to repay the gratitude Evelynn had shown them. He didnʼt how exactly she managed to gain their favor in a short few days, but he was proud of her, glancing as he smiled at her before turning to look at Tia.

”Whereʼs Hailac?” He wondered if she was fine.

”Sheʼs keeping a close watch on the prisoner back in one of the cabins.”

”I see.”

Davis nodded.

They brought back a female Three-Eyed Chromatic Hex Arachnid who will be turned into an Emperor-Tier Beast with Everlightʼs power. That female prisonerʼs true soul essence was going to become the last ingredient needed to activate the poison treasure.

As for her blood essence, seventy percent of it was going back to the clan, and thirty percent would be kept for various other needs or kept in the Davis Family Treasury.

He heard that this prisoner wouldʼve been executed long back if it werenʼt for the fact that they needed her blood to replenish their own. As for what she did, he could only give a strange look at Empress Hexena Xylusc, wondering if she would also choose to have eight husbands in the future.

”What?” Empress Hexena Xylusc blinked.

”Nothing.”

Davis shook his head. That question was too personal and invasive.

”He probably wanted to ask if you would marry eight husbands in the future.” Tia giggled.

”O-Of course not.”

Empress Hexena Xylusc stated her voice firm and hurried, ”I grew up totally different from the previous two Empress Hex Arachnids who brought that rule long back. I only need one husband who will not fall prey to my eight scythes.”

She explained herself and even shot a glance at Davis, ”Someone like him… but not him.”

”Understandable.” Davis stared at Tia before he nodded at Empress Hexena Xylusc.

Evelynn and Myria glared.

Why was she lying, and he also acted like he wasnʼt aware? Didnʼt he have his Heart Intent active?

But thinking back, they guessed Empress Hexena Xylusc would have complicated emotions for him that had already faded. After all, she also had Evelynnʼs memories and emotions imprinted into her once before it dissipated after the soul separated. It would be hard to get rid of, but for a woman who conquered her Heart Demon and got over the suffering, those complicated feelings wouldnʼt amount to something big.

As for that statement, they knew every single woman was after him more or less, and those who didnʼt want him because he was married still wanted a powerful and capable man like him.

It was difficult for the average man out there, and even the prospects of their sons obtaining women who wouldnʼt want someone like their husband was small, making them shake their heads.

”Empress Hexena Xylusc, Iʼm glad you agreed to stay with Evelynn and become her magical beast companion.”

”How can I not? I will also stand to gain immense benefits, right?”

Empress Hexena Xylusc smirked, her sexy eyes making Davis look away.

”Of course. Evelynnʼs future path is quite odd since she also possesses Emperor-Tier Earth Dragon bloodline within her.”

He returned his gaze and said with a sincere tone, ”I wish you would help her overcome the risks.”

”Naturally, I will.”

Empress Hexena Xylusc firmly nodded. She was aware that she needed to provide blood to Evelynn after she evolved. The only problem was the Earth Dragon bloodline. Even if they could obtain Azure Dragonʼs blood, would the fusion with the arachnid bloodline take place properly?

It would be quite dangerous and easily lead to a disaster, but with Davis and Myriaʼs expertise in Life Laws, she believed that they could find a method. Evelynn confidently said so to her, so it mustnʼt be wrong. Her faith in their powers was already high.

Otherwise, they wouldnʼt have reached this level, managing to defeat Venerable Knights and conquer two Lower Realms.
