Davisʼs sapphire pupils caught sight of a few talismans flung at him.

As these talismans came swooshing towards him, they lit up in flames, allowing him to sense the massive undulations erupting from them, waiting to explode, causing the air to shudder in their wake lightly.

He also noticed space here was strong that it didnʼt tear a single time while they were battling, but more than that, he couldnʼt believe these youths were entirely ruthless in their attacks, not even letting a moment pass by in order to kill him as they threw their offensive talismans at him.

ʼHowever, itʼs not enough…ʼ

As strong as they were and ruthless as their attacks may be, Davis felt that they were still weak. He jumped back with ease, his figure becoming shrouded in chaotic energy before they all went to his leg. At the same time, his soul body rushed out of his head, allowing him to kick right over its palms which applied momentum to his rush.

*Booom!~*

The four explosions engulfed his soul body in an instant while he retreated hundreds of kilometers in an instant.

”Eiren!”

The four youths shouted as they saw their companion being engulfed by the explosion, his plunging momentum took him all the way into smashing into the ground upside down before his lower body was burned, appearing scorched.

Was his thing dead?

A subconscious thought floated across their heads but quickly arrived before him, checking his vitals.

”Quick! We have to leave!”

Once they swiftly confirmed that Eiren was not dead, the alchemist of their group shouted, causing the others to be shocked.

That bastard still wasnʼt dead even after they had unleashed their life-saving offensive talismans?

They quickly tried to take Eiren away without being ashamed of retreating, but as soon as they turned around in the opposite direction, they saw Davis looking at them with an inquisitive gaze.

”Why are you guys in a hurry to leave? Didnʼt I say that itʼs a slaughter fest once we start?”

*Ssshhh!~*

Davisʼs figure instantly lit up in flames as one of the four men joined their hands and clasped, causing the place Davis was standing in to explode, causing his flesh to spread sporadically in tiny pieces as a bloody scent filled the area.

”Ahaha! Take that! You like to appear around us like a sneaky rat, huh? Serves you right!”

That person laughed manically, causing the others to feel some relief, especially the alchemist who felt like he had overestimated this person called Davis Loret. Even if he overestimated him, the alchemist felt like there was no way he would be able to survive this Spirit Formation at the Mid-Level Sovereign Stage.

It was a peak Early Sovereign Grade Spirit Formation, but when used by their formation expert who managed to comprehend its fiery intricacies, its prowess was definitely comparable to Mid-Level Sovereign Stage in prowess, practically reaching even Level Five Sovereign Stage by a slight margin.

Its range was tiny, but its firepower was greatly exponential, giving birth to a massive burst of fiery explosion that could kill tens of those giant deers if they appeared to be congregated in one place.

Luckily, their formation expert was exceptional in laying traps, allowing them to kill him.

”But donʼt let your guard down. The cultivators of the immortal cultivation path are known to be very capable of escaping with their souls or launching a sneak attack with their souls.”

”No shit.”I think you should take a look at

”…!?”

The alchemist who had just explained flinched in shock, and so did the others as they turned to look above, looking at the purple-robed man who was supposed to be dead hover with an amused expression.

”You… how did you…” The formation expert possessed a gaze full of disbelief before his lips curled, ”An illusion...”

”Indeed.”

Davis descended before his feet touched the ground, ”When I appeared between you people, and even just a while ago, both times, I used a technique called the Dark Depths Avatar Mirage. Itʼs an illusion technique that creates an illusion of myself superimposed like an avatar yet contorts your five senses to perceive it as my real body. How was this technique? Did it work well? Can you guys leave any reviews? Iʼll give you a quick death if you do so, as I only need one of you to perform soulscour.”

He ran his mouth, leaving the four of them solemn as they backed away slowly, moving one step at a time.

”Donʼt be hasty.”

”We can talk this out.”

”We are from the Crimson Pathflame Lower Realm. If you are agreeable, we can change this confrontation into a business exchange for your dried-up Abandoned Immortal Lower Realmʼs trade routes. You would be touted as itʼs one of its heroes.”

Other than the knocked-out Eiren and the forgemaster, the two others replied along with the alchemist, who proposed a deal.

This caused Davis to smile ever so lightly, ”I thought Emperor-Grade Treasures were restricted? Seems like I was wrong…”

His gaze flickered with excitement, and a long jade white rod with a pitch-black curved blade emerged. The back of the blade also appeared to be the same as the color of the rod, thrumming with vital radiance. The juxtaposition of the opposite elements suddenly left the youths at a loss, their eyes widening at the incredulous existence of this armament.

Its very outlook made them question the basis of life and death. How can both exist at the same time? How can such an armament exist?

But while they were wondering, they saw their alchemistʼs head fly into the skies, causing them to be forced out of their reverie.

”Navin!”

The others roared as they retreated in opposing directions, but without turning to look back, they abandoned Eiren and Navin as they rushed into the distance.

Davis reached out his hand, and after a spin, Yama came back to him, embedding itself in his grasp before a satisfied sound echoed from it as it absorbed the blood into its body.

”Spit it out.”

Davis waved Yama to the side, causing it to release the blood in a whimpering tone, but Davis didnʼt fall for it. Armaments did tend to absorb blood to boost their spirituality, allowing them to become more proficient in killing and gain an overwhelming killing aura, but for Yama, Davis intended it to be a pure, untainted blade that only contains life and death.

Otherwise, its killing intent would leak, disallowing its opponents to discover it. After all, it was not an armament made from blood-attribute ore like Schleyaʼs Crescentblood Twin Blades to be capable of hiding its killing intent after absorbing blood.

Davis seemed quite unbothered by the escaping adversaries, but his indifference wasnʼt underestimating them as the three who escaped found themselves confronted by three people.

Myria looked at the formation expert, whose body seemed to be engulfed in a radiance of light as she trapped him.

Nadiaʼs claws sank into the body of one of the other two people, crushing him underneath as she actually got the first kill of their group. On the other hand, Lea cupped her fingers and palms, creating a region of space that entrapped the last person in a spatial lock, disallowing him to move.

The two who were captured by a few random women appearing before them from nowhere had their hearts shaking, sensing that one of their fellow disciples had died from their attacks.
