Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 2753 A Promise

”...!”

Reincarnation energy swirled around Mystic Diviner Hailacʼs forehead, disallowing Fraser Herrion to leave while the people present in the all were shocked beyond compare.

However, despite capturing him, Myriaʼs heart shook as she heard his voice stemming from Mystic Diviner Hailac. She couldnʼt believe he was still here despite the Calamity Light closing down on him but was even more shocked to see the owner of the world not taking action.

But on second thought, she could finally understand why Davis would arrive at this conclusion while she did not.

”How did I know?” Davis appeared amused, lightly chuckling.

”There were too many sudden changes of heart in Hailac for me to not find her suspicious. At first, I thought she was being influenced by something, perhaps her seniors who implanted something in her while giving her divination lessons or even my own skewed fate, but then later after I know came to know that she visited the Heaven Gazing Hall during the disappearance of the Calamity Light, it simply became clear.”

”Thatʼs right.”

Shirley suddenly stepped out, appearing shocked but looking like she finally understood, ”I had Esvele find out that Mystic Diviner Hailac had returned from a trip to the Heaven Gazing Hallʼs headquarters. So youʼre that bastard who chases Myria...”

She glared at him, appearing to want to turn him into ashes.

”Esvele, huh...”

Davisʼs brows twitched, finally knowing why Tanya was completely unaware of his intentions. After all, he told Shirley to get Tanyaʼs help, and she did indeed give him the information that he required, but she seemed to have used Esveleʼs help instead, which made Tanya remain clueless and get truly sad over his actions.

It was no wonder she looked heartbroken. Otherwise, with her sharpness, he felt that she would have an inkling of what he was doing, like how Evelynn didnʼt know anything but still trusted him and didnʼt say a single word about his actions.

But still, he knew that he had gone too far with Tanya, causing that sadness within him to turn into an unbridled rage as he glared at Mystic Diviner Hailacʼs contorted expression.

”Bastard Fraser, who else would it be if not you willing to drive Myria out of the Aurora Cloud Gate by exposing her as a Divergent, even waiting for the right time to strike her and cause her to be alone again?”

”Hehehe~” Fraser Herrionʼs shock receded as he began to laugh.

”Youʼre merely her disciple. What gives you the right to stop me from courting her?”

”Courting her? Bitch, youʼre literally a rapist, psycho bastard whoʼs stalking Myria without a stop, even crossing worlds to follow her. I see you fucking want to die by my hands.”

Davisʼs expression churned with fury, almost making him take his hand back in order to slap him. But if he did that, he was sure that Fraser Herrion would escape and the person he would be slapping be none other than Hailac herself, causing her to die. However, he was unsure if she was still alive, which further angered him.

”Ahh~ My loving Myria, keep holding me like that. Itʼs very pleasurable...”

”...!”

Myriaʼs gaze wavered. However, she still held onto Mystic Diviner Hailac, completely shutting down her emotions as her eyes flickered in a cold light.

Davis saw that Myriaʼs seal didnʼt waver, causing him to heave a sigh inwardly before his brows raised.

”What did you do to Hailac? I know youʼre merely a weak seed who could only influence her because you stayed hidden all this while instead of taking over. Otherwise, Hailac wouldʼve noticed you already.”

Hearing Davisʼs words, Fraser Herrion was astonished.

”Hehe~ Youʼre smart, but so what? Iʼve planted seeds all over the First Haven World. Donʼt tell me youʼre going to find them one by one. By now-”

Suddenly, his smiling expression contorted, causing him to part his mouth as though he was in disbelief.

”You sealed this place as well?”

”This is a unique construct, you see.” Davis grinned, ”It shuts down all sorts of frequencies once sealed that even heavenʼs will would somewhat find it difficult to penetrate. You wouldnʼt be able to get out any information outside to the rest of the seeds you claim to have sowed, not to mention bring back all this information back to your main body since youʼre detached and all alone in this world. Am I right?”

Fraser Herrionʼs gaze shook, wondering how Davis found this out. Since the World Master kicked him out, he had no choice but to cut off all connections with the main body to stay here. There was no chance of returning unless someone pried upon this world.

His expression finally showed some anger as he growled, ”Bastard... do you think Iʼll leave you alone? Iʼll play you to death if you exit this world to come to the Three-Layered Universe.”

”Heh~” Davis looked as though he heard the funniest thing, ”Your seed will be obliterated by our reincarnation energy, so how you hope to carry this defeat to your other souls is beyond me, but letʼs see... how should I kill you? Should Myria and I pulverize your soul at the same time?”

”Why donʼt you try? Perhaps, youʼll end up killing this woman as well.”

Fraser Herrion sneered as he spread his hands and pointed at himself, except it was Mystic Diviner Hailac whom he was pointing at.

However, Davisʼs expression was amused.

”Do you think I care?”

”Oh, donʼt misunderstand me. You may not care, but the feelings this woman has for you... theyʼre very real... even though I influenced them all! Ahahaha!~~~”

”...”

Davisʼs expression flickered while everyone else displayed a hint of anger at this crazed bastard. They couldnʼt believe how Myria was coping with this kind of bastard hounding her to death, making them think if it was them in her shoes, they wouldʼve gone crazy long ago.

”You have the face as though wanting to ask me why. Should I enlighten you?

Fraser Herrion smiled, seemingly amused.

”Well, isnʼt this fun? At first, I merely influenced this woman to get close to Myria and sabotage this group.”

”Besides, I had so many chances to kill your little aunt as I even thought getting rid of her would be beneficial for me. However, I couldnʼt forget my Myria, you see, causing me to stay my hand and wait for the opportune moment, and then the chance came. She exposed herself by reviving such a useless and weak woman, giving me the golden opportunity to drive her out. And then, I hear you suddenly die but faked it for some reason. I thought I could use this chance to make you a retard, but itʼs a pity you baited me into influencing her into accepting your advances in the end, causing me to be exposed.”

Fraser Herrion sighed, ”Thinking back... I shouldʼve acted on my thoughts and at least got rid of your little aunt. What a pity~”

Tiaʼs gaze shook as her expression was full of disbelief, unable to believe that she had been with this man all this while. Disgust, as well as anger, swelled within her heart, unable to believe that she had shared her emotions with him as Mystic Diviner Hailac was also curious about Davis in a romantic manner.

On the other hand, Bing Luli also clenched her teeth at that personal insult. Weak and useless? She couldnʼt help but tremble, wanting to cut him into pieces, but more than anyone, it was Davis who was almost starting to tremble, killing intent amalgamating into a sharp blade that caused Fraser Herrion to narrow his eyes.

”Go on... what are you waiting for? Canʼt bring yourself to kill me!? Heh... hehe... hahahahaha! Ah-”

Davis suddenly leaned closer, ”By the time we ascend to the so-called Three-Layered Universe, I promise that I wouldʼve made Myria mine in body and soul. Now!”

”You fucking bastard!~ You dare-ahhh!!!” Fraser Herrion screamed miserably.

Myria was shocked by Davisʼs words but noticing the cue, she unleashed her power, causing the reincarnation energy that gathered to shoot forth, entering Mystic Diviner Hailacʼs head and forming a mystical barrier before crushing from within as it compressed while Davis held Fraser Herrionʼs manifested soul seed in place, causing him to be completely obliterated by Myriaʼs precise use of reincarnation energy.

Her Immortal King Soul undulations burst forth with coldness, causing the atmosphere to freeze as the colors changed, becoming white and black as though the heaven and earth were flipping, causing many to freeze and become pale as they had never seen such a thing.

The dichromatic iridescent colors disappeared, returning color to the hall as everything became normal.

However, as Davis and Myria released their grip, Mystic Diviner Hailac fell like a doll, collapsing in between as she remained unmoving.
