The Noble Lady of Lust

Chapter 417: Reach An Agreement

I can see that Eira didn’t just strike, she even used her cmbat arts technique, or as I call it, Stance.

I’m actually a little surprised. I taught her that combat art recently, and she can already use it at this point.

Just as I thought: she’s better at using her body than magic, and the same goes for Selene; she was curiously more of a genius with runes and mana than with using her body.

Only that both of them were previously limited by their natural talent for growth and abilities, but with me, that ceased to be relevant.

Anyway, it seems that Eira did hold back. She doesn’t seem to have used her full strength, and she obviously didn’t use resonance, or she would have turned Kiona’s arm, or more, to frost dust, but even so, the result was brutal and one-sided.

To the point that Eira’s anger was gone and she was even more bewildered and even guilty.

The situation was devastating for everyone, but her arm had to be treated quickly or she could lose it.

That would be bad in what was only a training fight, so I was the first to take a step forward. I don’t know why the others seemed incredulous, as if a result like this was incomprehensible.

Whatever it was, I approached Kiona and saw that her arm was completely frozen and shattered, and worst of all, that the frostbite was caused by frost, and it was spreading, which meant that Eira had used her blessing.

”Wow, Eira, you really made a mess. Don’t you think it was too much to use your blessing as well?”

”Ugh, damn it, why is she so fragile if she’s so big?”

”Hey, don’t say that, do you want to hurt her feelings too? Just come help me fix it a little.”

”Okay.”

Well, Kiona was still conscious and heard our conversation, but the important thing was to treat her arm.

Crack!

”Ugh?”

With Eira’s help, we quickly got rid of the cold and frost, and I began to set the bones in her hands while casting light element healing spells.

”Wait, what are you doing? I don’t think—”

Finally, the referee, noticed what we were doing and wanted to stop me.

I also saw how the instructors on the giants’ side began to move forward and arrive, but by that time I had already set all the bones and completely gotten rid of the frostbite, so I stepped aside.

I already gave her first aid, so in a day or two, with good follow-up, she’ll be fine.

Healing magic is good and all, but if used excessively, it can cause bodily deformities, and since it ultimately comes from another person, if it accumulates too much in the body, it can be like a kind of poison.

The same goes for healing positions.

That’s why it’s not good to cast it in large quantities or continuously unless it’s urgent, only as much as necessary so that it doesn’t become serious and the person can heal on their own.

That’s why I fixed her bones and everything else manually. Although it must have been painful, in the long run it’s better.

I thought that would prevent things from escalating further, but...

’This son of a bitch.’

But apparently, among the giants, someone didn’t like how it ended, and with fierce eyes, he headed towards Eira.

Given his rank, he wasn’t from our generation, and he didn’t look like an instructor, so he must have been one of the senior from the giant kingdom who had also come to give advice or something.

He went straight for Eira with murderous intent. He seemed to be at the peak of the eighth metamorphosis, but I didn’t just stand there watching. I took out my halberd and—

Sanctified Piercer

I threw it at him. As he was coming straight at me, it hit him.

Bang!

”ah!”

The guy seemed surprised by the weight and force, but he was able to handle it and it only slowed him down for a moment, but that was enough.

”Okay, let’s crush him. let’s go with the second most powerful one.”

”yes”

”hm!”

Yes, I thought that was enough time for Selene to get closer. She resonated with Eira, and Eira doubled her strength, and that wasn’t all; the three of us conjured something in unison.

Yes, it’s something I taught them: if you have enough coordination and precision and divide the tasks correctly, it’s possible to cast spells with more than one person, without it having to be a ritual of some kind.

Together with them, I have practiced casting some spells that go beyond our current individual capabilities, and that’s taking into account that Eira is using resonance.

It’s a shame I can’t use the resonance, we could have used the most powerful one we’ve practiced, but I think this will be enough.

With Eira at the center, each of us did our part, and in less than two seconds, a large ice sword appeared above us.

”Now, die, bastard.”

”Gladius Hiemalis ”

I shouted the sentence, and Eira launched the sword with the last chant, flying towards the target with the clear intention of finishing him off.

”Huh?”

Exaggeration? No one who emits murderous intentions towards my beauties deserves mercy.

Boom!!!

A loud impact sounded and the place shook, scattering a frosty mist, and at that very moment several auras rose up in the place and began to move.

By the time the frost gathered in the place settled, a clear division was revealed: on one side were several giants covered in frost; they were not our original target but the instructors on the giants’ side.

They began to crack the ice and frost and finally broke free. On the other side were Astrid and other instructors led by instructor Graham, as well as Maximilian and even Celestine; apparently, they were no longer just spectators.

”What does this mean?”

One of the giants spoke, the one with a large beard who seemed to be the leader among the instructors on that side.

”I should be the one asking that. What do you think someone from the first generation is doing attacking and showing clear murderous intent towards students? This is not something that can be easily overlooked.”

”...”

The one who spoke in our defense was Instructor Graham, and he was right: that old man had no right to demand any explanation, even though our attack, reinforced by Eira’s blessing, had murderous intentions.

The one who was wrong was the bastard who wanted to attack us. What happened to Kiona was to be expected in combat. What he did was foolish and unjustifiable.

We have the upper hand in the argument. Besides, there weren’t only people from the giant and human kingdoms, there were people from the other three, so there are witnesses everywhere.

The old giant, who seemed angry, seemed to understand this and his anger subsided, and he began to look thoughtful. On the other hand, the rest of the instructors didn’t look so happy.

What do you want, a fight or something, bastards?

I didn’t say it, but it was clear that’s what I wanted to say when our eyes met.

They seemed to want to twist us around or something, but I showed them that I wasn’t afraid of old farts, making them clearly angrier.

But I didn’t care and kept staring at them defiantly. Those old farts don’t intimidate me at all.

”Stop that, don’t escalate this. After all, this started because of me, I should have moderated myself.”

”Huh? What happened to you? Did you hit your head? Are you okay? Moderation coming from your own mouth? That’s—ugh!, I guess you are okay.”

For a moment, I thought something had happened to Eira, but after she hit me hard for no reason, I realized she was fine.

”I don’t need to hold back with you, you jerk. Come here and don’t cause any more trouble than there already is. Hey, I told you to stop.”

Eira simply dragged me away from there, so that I wouldn’t get involved now that this had become a matter between the instructors, but I didn’t forget to say goodbye to those old giants with a harmless gesture of my fingers.

I will remember the faces of those who dared to look at me and my pretty girlfriends with bad intentions.

..

.

After an exchange between the instructors and some negotiations that ended with the giants apologizing, things calmed down again and continued.

”Come here for a moment.”

”Yes...”

At that moment, Instructor Graham approached me and invited me to follow him. We both walked away and moved a little further away.

”Put up a sound barrier.”

”okey.”

Click!.

Of all the instructors, Instructor Graham is, I believe, the strongest with the exception of the director.

He is in the tenth metamorphosis, so he can enter the middle world, and without the director, he is the highest authority in the academy, not to mention that his strength is beyond his rank.

He is one of the few that the first generation still cannot surpass, unless they also reach the tenth metamorphosis.

Not to mention that his physical training classes were always a kind of torture that really makes me dread him.

Although we generally get along well, as I am his most physically outstanding student.

So if you scold me for what I did, even though I don’t think I did anything wrong, I will accept your scolding.

”Christian, it’s been almost a year since I’ve known you. I understand well that you value relationships and such above many things, and I understand the reason for your previous actions... and personally, I think you did really great.”

”Huh?”

”Don’t make that face. Act like you’re being scolded and you’re really sorry.”

”Uh, oh yeah, I’m really sorry ╯︿╰.”

”Hey, you’re really good at pretending. Anyway, I promised the other side that I would scold you and Eira and even Selene, but I don’t think what you did was wrong; in fact, you were just defending yourselves. But I have to at least pretend to keep things good with the giants.”

”That’s understandable, but do you think I should shed a few tears or something?”

”No, that’s overkill. Honestly, you’re putting on a face that even I, who know it’s a lie, am believing.”

”Yeah, it’s not that fake, you know, I also have a little bit of remorse and regret about what just happened.”

Yes, I honestly think it’s really a shame that things with Kiona didn’t turn out as I planned, and I don’t know if there’s still a chance.

I don’t understand why things never turn out the way I plan them, and I regret taking it so lightly.

”The fact that you feel that way means that you’re not a lost cause as a person. Anyway, this issue isn’t going to escalate any further, and you’ll continue to have classes together. ”

”Really? I thought they would leave in a huff or something.”

”I did everything I could to prevent that from happening... Haaah~ there’s only one precedent, but in this generation, you’re all like bombs. What happened a few days ago and everything that happened today... you give me so much work. I miss the principal.”

”⚆_⚆, It’s good that I wasn’t involved in what happened a few days ago.”

”Yes, you’re right, but you are directly involved with what happened this morning.”

”Ah!”

”Actually, I was planning to talk about that later, but now is a good time. You know that what you did is even worse than what just happened. Do you know how many alert levels you raised? Seriously, what were you thinking?”

”...To get to class on time and maintain our status as model students.”

”... Yes, in exchange for dignity? This will undoubtedly make us the laughing stock of other kingdoms and embarrass them, or at least that’s what would normally happen, but you keep causing one scandal after another, covering up one scandal with another. In fact, with what happened during the hazing, they could cover it up, since they instilled respect and fear.”

”So that’s okay, right?”

”Yes, but they go and not long after they do something else stupid. I don’t even understand what the hell happened, because why the hell did you look like a caterpillar?”

”In my defense, they were the ones who planned and attacked me, I was just there fighting for my life and integrity as best I could.”

”Haaah~ even we instructors couldn’t intervene because we were busy and it didn’t seem like anything really serious since no one used magic or martial arts.”

”...”

”I feel like they have too much excess energy, and I’m considering going back to intensive classes.”

”Wait! Calm down, Instructor Graham, we can’t go back to that hell. I just got out, I’m not going back.”

”Well, if you don’t want that to happen, you’d better calm down a little. Haaah~ Honestly, for what happened this morning, they deserve a harsh punishment... you’re a perceptive person, so you must know the only reason it’s not happening is because William is involved. Honestly, I don’t like this preferential treatment, but many other instructors don’t see it that way and I can’t ignore them. Still, you should know that there are others like me who don’t like this kind of partiality.”

”So we can’t totally avoid punishment?”

”Hmmm, well, it won’t go any further because of William and because his group is the most outstanding among all the students, but that doesn’t mean they’ll get off scot-free, and as I said, one of the things I’m considering is intensifying the classes again... but—”

”But? Say anything, anything but that.”

”Ahem. We can come to an agreement. It has come to my attention that you have privileged information about a certain hard-to-find place in this city. That would make me and other instructors who don’t like that partiality towards William at least become neutral...”
