The Noble Lady of Lust

Chapter 409: The Honorable Men’s Council!

”Huh? What’s going on now?”

At that moment, I heard an unfamiliar voice, and now that I think about it, that same person had also tried to stop us earlier.

That voice didn’t sound very familiar to me, so I turned around to see who it was.

”Huh? You’re... oh! It’s you.”

”Oh, junior, you know me?”

Yes, I did know this striking girl. She was short, with light brown hair with some pink streaks, tied in double pigtails.

In a way, she undoubtedly resembled Eira as she was initially. It was no surprise that my alternate self, when he first met her, thought of her as Eira 2.0.

Although Eira no longer wore twin ponytails, and in terms of personality, the two couldn’t be more different.

In addition to her hair, she was dressed in so much pink that it was surprising I hadn’t noticed her until now.

She had semi-pointy ears, but she wasn’t a half-elf; she is of the Dwarf race, which made her shorter than the twins, making her look very cute.

She was right next to me, and she moved closer to me with curiosity, and at that moment I felt a little panicked and regretted that it was obvious I recognized her.

But I thought about it and in the end it wasn’t a big deal, so I tried to calm down and speak as calmly as possible.

”Yes, I’ve heard a few things... you’re the Senior Rowyn, right?”

”Hehe, so I’m so famous that newbies from other kingdoms know me? Hehe, I guess you heard very good things about me, right?”

”Of course, you’re like an idol. Hey, Silvia, take this off me and I’ll forgive your betrayal, ugh! damn you; you’ve even restricted my mana.”

”Haah~ fine.”

While talking to Rowyn, I spotted Silvia with my vision and asked her to remove this spell.

Although she seemed guilty at first, now she seemed disappointed; that damn I call my friend seemed to want me to get beaten up. I’ll remember that.

’Well, how do I deal with her?’

’I didn’t expect her to be here too.’

’Oh, number two, were you watching?’

’Yes, I was going to help you and all that before, but Elena stopped me.’

’Well, that’s for the best. If you intervened, we would attract more attention. Hey, what do you think we should do with her?’

’Hmmm... it’s not that it’s bad to interact, but it’s too soon.’

’I thought the same thing, it’s not good for her to interact with me,’

’But it’s also a good opportunity, why don’t we give her a helping hand?’

’Okay, but we have to be a little careful and not create a bad situation.’

Just as I reached a resolution with number two on how to deal with this cute senior, the idiots seemed to have finished theirs.

”Ahem! The Honorable Men’s Council! has spoken, and we have reached a unanimous decision that the defendant, Christian Lionheart, is acquitted of all his crimes and sins... only if the above words were true.”

”What crimes? I was always innocent. Hmm... but well, I will forgive them too. Hue~. By the way, senior Rowyn, are you the one who is going to give us the rabbits and impart your experiences?”

”Oh, well, y-yes, most likely. As you know about me, you should also know that I am a leader of our kingdom’s faction; and we only have two. Don’t you think you can learn a lot from me? You know, even though I just got back from a raid, when I heard about this, I couldn’t help but sign up to guide my lovely minors.”

”From what I’ve heard, you’re a very nice person, caring about the younger generation and even other kingdoms. Oh, but we haven’t started yet; the instructors still seem to be wandering around.”

”Yes, they’ll be a little while longer, but since I’ll probably be guiding you, it’s a good time to get to know each other.”

”I see, Hey idiots!, come here! Let me introduce you to this lovely lady. ehem! senior , you’re single, right?

”Yes! Haha~, how clever, junior do you want to introduce me to one of those handsome boys?”

”Huehue, I was it that obvious? We’ve got everything here: the muscle guy, the skinny one, the brainiac, the simp, the classic nice guy... Oh, and that one over there who always fails at love and can’t even catch a fly.”

”Hey, Chris! What are you doing talking about me like that in front of the senior? And you just got amnesty!”

”Shut up. Maybe senior Rowyn will take pity on you. Ahem!... Elder, why don’t you talk to them?”

”Oh! So you’re not included?”

”N-no, I would be too, but I actually have a lot of girlfriends; it would be too greedy.”

”Yes, senior , it’s better not to get involved with him; his girlfriends are dangerous. By the way, what is your ideal type of man?”

”Well, a manly one, much taller than me, muscular if possible... and who loves me.”

”Oh, great.”

Starting with the highly motivated Ivan, they began a conversation, while I backed away and took Silvia with me; she had been giving me a peculiar look for a while.

”(≖_≖ )”

Click!.

”What?”

”Do you think what you just did was funny?”

”Honestly, a little, huehue~. Oh, wait... are you angry? Because she’s one of your rivals for William?”

”No! You know very well that’s not it.”

”Then what’s wrong with them socializing with a pretty girl with a good personality?”

”Why don’t you go and do it yourself?”

”Ugh... come on, Silvia, you know she specifically wants a manly, strong man. It would be fraud or something if I went and tried to do something.”

”Excuses. I know what’s going on. I’ll tell them before this escalates.”

”Hey!, leave them alone. Let them pursue their love; if something happens, let it happen. Hue~... ahem. And even though I did it because it seemed fun, I also did it with good intentions. In fact, I already have some ideas for her, and I think I can solve her ’little problem’.”

”That’s not a little problem.”

”Yes, it is. And once that’s resolved, it won’t matter if she starts a relationship with one of the idiots or with William, ahem. You know, she’s from the richest family on this continent; even the Silvercrests are far behind. Ahem... the more sponsorship, the better....Do you mind sharing William? If she takes an interest in him again, I think I’ll use him as a bargaining chip.”

”Don’t go there.”

”Silvia has to learn to share.”

”You’re the last person who should be saying that to me, and that’s not what I’m talking about. Besides, why is your attitude so different from the one you have with Evangeline, when technically they both did the same thing? And she even has pink streaks in her hair.”

”Hey, what’s your problem with pink? Do you have some kind of prejudice or something?”

”...If you wake up tomorrow with multiple stab wounds and more than one thing stuck in you, just know it was me.”

”Hey! What was that? You’re joking, right?”

”(¬_¬ )”

”Hey! Look me in the eyes.”

”Hmph, so you know how it feels; besides, you’re a doppelgänger, what does it matter?”

”It matters to me; you have to start somewhere. Mine may be a joke; yours may be very real.”

”And it will be if you don’t stop talking nonsense.”

”Hugh, okay, I didn’t say anything. Besides, you have to do your part too. If you don’t want me to talk about her, stop mentioning her all the time. Or maybe... do you want me to tell you the obvious difference between the two of them?”

”...No, it’s okay, let’s not talk about that. And about Rowyn... well, I’m not going to get involved. Sooner or later they’ll find out for themselves, just like in your memories.”

”Wise decision, Silvia. It’s wise to let nature take its course.”

”Haaah~ whatever. On another note, do you know that girl? She arrived with the senior Rowyn and hasn’t stopped looking at you for a while. Also, is it just me, or does she look a little like...?”

”Huh? What girl... huh? Does she look like the senior Rowyn?”

At Silvia’s words, I looked at the person and, curiously, she was a girl who looked very much like Rowyn, which puzzled me, because as far as I knew, there shouldn’t be anyone like her.

”S-she’s coming.”

”Yes, she’s coming towards us. Hmm, I wish I had my eyes of lust to check. Damn Number Two for doing stupid things.”

The girl, perhaps noticing how obviously we were talking about her, began to approach us. She looked suspiciously like Rowyn, and I knew nothing about her.

At first glance, she didn’t seem to have the same thing as Rowyn, but just in case, I wanted to examine her a little; however, as a doppelgänger, I can only use one skill at a time, and I’m using morphogenesis.

Normally, I could have Number Two do it, but since he self-destructed and the one in Seraphina’s identity is the doppelgänger made by me—who is a doppelgänger—that doppelgänger only has fifty percent of my stats and cannot use any Skill.

Luckily, it was reported that, due to my fight with Alexander and what happened afterwards, I was injured and am in a state of weakness and recovery.

I didn’t have my eyes, but I had something just as good nearby.

”Silvia, take a look.”

”N-no, why should I?”

”Come on, what does it matter? You have divine eyes. See if he has the same thing as Rowyn; that resemblance is too great to be a coincidence.”

”So you don’t really know her.”

”Nope! But that makes it even more suspicious. Check it out, who knows if it’s not a sneaky demon or something. It’s totally reasonable for you to use your ability.”

”I know that’s just an excuse. Besides, I don’t know if I can... ah!”

”What? What’s wrong? What is it? Did you see something?”

”No... it’s nothing. I think I’ll take your advice and let things flow naturally. Good luck.”

”Huh?”

”She’s already here.”
