The Noble Lady of Lust

Chapter 408: Catrepillar

”Yes, that’s right, a nice shoulder massage. Plus... I found a good medicated cream; you’ll feel so relieved you won’t even notice the discomfort in your chest.”

”...”

”I know you’re embarrassed in front of the girls, so we’ll go somewhere secluded, just you and me. It’ll be a relaxing afternoon, just friends.”

”...We won’t talk about your silly plans or William and stuff, right?”

’Got her, she’s already set her conditions, that’s on the table, ugh!! I hope she’s not reading my intentions.’

”No. We’ll only talk about runic magic, like you like. You can ask me what you don’t understand, and we can discuss together what neither of us fully understands. I know for some reason you like us to do that.”

”Hmph!... Of course, being a magician is a continuous pursuit of knowledge... I’ll think about it. And if I do accept, don’t get carried away or get too rough — you tend to overdo things sometimes.”

”Eh? I thought you were just going to be a pillow. Well, if you give me that much freedom, even better!” ”

Huehue~, I earned more than I thought I would, I will also be able to deepen my knowledge of gravitational phenomena and that mental interference that affects me and which I cannot resist despite being the supreme blessed one of Aeloria.

” idiot! Uhh... I’m still just thinking about it... Ah!, and don’t say anything bad about Evangeline or there will be nothing to think about.”

”....Okay, I’ll try.”

”Haaah~ Is it really that difficult...?”

”Like I told you, it’s a matter of the heart. Oh! Look, William and the rest are back, huh? Silvia, I think he’s calling you.”

It was at that moment that I saw William and the rest finally arrive. They were all standing close together; when our eyes met, William acted a little nervous.

I didn’t understand what the problem was, but then he made eye contact with Silvia and gestured to her, as if calling her over.

I didn’t understand why they didn’t come over directly, but it was okay: right now they were the center of attention and were getting a lot of stares from people.

It was better for me not to approach them. I wanted to maintain my image; I couldn’t let the girl among the giants be associated with that group of exhibitionists.

”Really? I guess so... what does he want?”

”Oh, it doesn’t matter, just go and see him. It’s rare for you to get a call from your sweetheart; he seems nervous, which is a good sign. I don’t know what’s going on, but I want good news when you come back.”

”S-stop talking nonsense, you idiot!.”

I didn’t know why he was calling her over, but I found it interesting.

Silvia, who had been brave with me, approached William with obvious nervousness.

The rest of the idiots behind him were unnecessary, but well, I can’t ask for much from dense William, but now that I look at them closely, those idiots are looking at me in a strange way, but I focused on Silvia and William.

They activated their own sound barrier and started talking; that only piqued my curiosity more. Willian continued to look uncomfortable and nervous as he scratched the back of his neck a little, while Silvia just nodded.

After a moment, the conversation ended and she turned back to me with an expression as if she had heard something troubling.

”So what happened? What did he say? Are you two finally dating...?”

”No! Our conversation had nothing to do with that... By the way Chris, about what we talked about before, I think I accept it. It’s okay, even if you’re a little rough.”

”Oh! That’s great!... But wait!, why the sudden acceptance? Does it have to do with what he said to you? You have that weird look on your face, like doubt mixed with acceptance. He said something that convinced you, but you still have doubts, right? I also notice a little guilt. Is that why you accepted my proposal? What did he say to you?”

”It’s only at times like this that you stop being so insensitive...hmm, well, you always talk about karma, right? Cause and effect and a kind of law that keeps everything working or something like that, right?”

”Huh? Why the abrupt change of subject? And yes, that’s more or less what it’s about, but as I told you, thanks to my legacy, you don’t have to worry about that. We’ll just take William’s good karma and none of his bad karma to balance things out. It’s all advantages.”

”No, that’s not what I meant... hmm. Well, what you said about balance: that in life you have to maintain balance, right?”

”Really? What are you getting at? What did Willian tell you? And yes, I think balance in certain things is important.”

”Yes! That’s it. I don’t think you’re the only person who thinks that way. Sigillum Stellae. It’s not unusual for others to want balance too, so they can get on with their lives.”

”Yes, but, Silvia, (￣へ￣)in the middle of what you just said, you cast a spell that is restricting me... and it’s a damn star spell!...ugh! Damn!, how powerful is it if you chanted it even with your EX affinity? What are you doing?”

It all happened so naturally that I didn’t even realize I was already completely bound by several semi-transparent rings, wrapping around me and making me look like a damn caterpillar.

”I’m sorry, Chris, but I think you’re mostly to blame and you have to pay for your actions.”

”Let’s balance the world!”

”Get him!”

”Revenge!”

”Strip that bastard naked!”

”Let him feel the humiliation like we do.”

”Let’s tie him to a pole.”

”I’ll burn him.”

”He can’t get away with it!”

”I’m sorry, Chris, but...”

While I was trying to understand why the hell I was tied up, Willian’s group lunged at me like wild beasts, with a clear goal: ”to balance the world.”

The last one was Willian, who hesitated a little, like Silvia, but was still an accomplice.

”Damn you, get away! Ugh! Damn these ropes! Silvia, you damn traitor!”

I tried to run away, but it was useless. I was too tightly bound, and it was a very powerful spell, so I became easy prey. Now I understood Silvia’s actions; she had betrayed me.

”Hey! This restriction spell won’t let us undress him!”

”It doesn’t matter, I just want to get rid of my frustration.”

”Show him no mercy!”

”I want to see blood!”

These damn beasts wanted to undress me, but luckily they couldn’t. Even so, the bastards began to beat me mercilessly.

”Ugh! Damn bastards, I’ll get my revenge for this... ugh.” They hit like little girls, they don’t even tickle me. Hey, you son of a bitch, watch where you aim! That’s a low blow!! I’ll get you back for this!”

This was blatant group intimidation against me, and no one intervened.

The instructors seemed busy; although some older students seemed to be considering taking action against this deplorable act, but...

”Ugh! He’s fighting back!”

I’m not the type to just stand there and take a beating. Somehow I managed to bite—yes, bite—Mike’s leg.

He tried to shake me off, but that only caused me, still tied up like a catrepillar, to fly in the direction of Ivan and...

’I’ll drag you bastards with me.’

”Nooooo! Get him off me!”

..

.

These idiots did it, now I’m the center of attention, even though we could have resolved this peacefully; I mean, I’m a rational being they can talk to.

””Come on! You’ll need more hands than you’ve got to stop me,, bastards! F*ckers! Even in this state, I can ”#&!$!# and +&”#$”# so badly that $-#%”&”

But since they didn’t, it’s not my fault I’m acting this way.

I was still tied up; yes, I was the most beaten of all, but it wasn’t one-sided.

When I understood my new ability as a limbless caterpillar, I adapted and fought back; so although they weren’t as badly beaten, they did get their just deserts, some with bruises here and there, along with bites.

It’s not my fault; I’m a caterpillar and I use what I have, and now I don’t have hands.

The most affected was Ivan, who was now in a corner, crouched down and rubbing the part of his head where a large tuft of hair was missing.

’I think it got a little stuck in my teeth.’

But it was a clear warning. The situation was tense, and although I was tied up, none of them dared to approach me, and they were right not to, because as soon as they entered my range of action, they were going to lose something.

”You heartless bastard, let yourself be beaten; it’s the least you should do.”

Mike spoke, pointing at me; he had a bruise on his eye from my headbutt.

”You guys are the bastards. Why the hell would I let you hit me?”

”It’s only fair.”

”Yeah, you must have done it on purpose, otherwise how do you explain that you were the only one dressed?”

”Yeah, I also remember that last night it was you who burned our clothes.”

Ban also stepped forward along with Esteban and a stranger; the three of them were analyzing me.

They obviously wanted to attack and subdue me, but I won’t let them have it so easy.

Well, now they seem a little willing to talk, so I’ll present my argument. If they don’t take it, they’ll understand that my previous words were not empty threats.

”Hey! I only did it because we were late, and as for the clothes... it’s your fault for being idiots. Why the hell didn’t you cast illusion magic or cover yourselves with some elemental magic or something? What’s more, if William had glowed, you wouldn’t even be able to see them.”

”...”

”...”

Yes, if I had been with them, I would have quickly conjured something with basic illusion magic, or at least put on a cover of some element.

They can’t blame me for their stupidity.

”Don’t let him convince you.”

”Yeah, who could calmly conjure in that situation?”

”Hmm, I think I could have glowed and—”

”Shut up, William, don’t help him.”

”Hey, you don’t have any arguments against me anymore. Besides, now that I think about it, everyone went along with me; rather, Mike, you started the fire that lit our clothes.”

”Ugh! But it’s your fault for always buying liquor, which is basically poison!”

”Hey! It was the local specialty, how could we not drink it? And everyone was happy last night.”

”I’m really not drinking with you again; it’s too dangerous.”

”Hey, who are you? Why are you getting involved in our business?”

”Get away! Even if I die, I’ll take it with me!”

”Calm down, Tharen! This isn’t over yet; we just have to seal his mouth and—”

”Bastards, and I even deigned to reason with you. You still can’t beat me... get ready to be crippled.”

”Wait... guys, why don’t you calm down a little? Do me that small favor, okay?”

At that moment, as if seizing the opportunity, someone stepped in to calm things down, but I didn’t pay any attention to him, nor did anyone else, as another round was about to begin; I was planning to start by ripping off William’s ear, since he convinced Silvia to betray me.

And even though she’s a little further away, I’ll attack Silvia herself. There’s no mercy for traitors.

”Any last words? Before you pay for your crimes.”

”What crimes? I haven’t done anything. Do you think I wanted all this to happen? My original plan was to have a few drinks and then go to a gentlemen’s club I’d discovered, to cheer up that idiot Alexander, not wake up surrounded by half-naked idiots.”

”Wait! Time out; everyone stop for a moment!... What did you say?”

At that moment, Ivan, who was depressed about the hole in his head, stepped forward and stopped everyone.

”Well, I had found a good place with onee-san here, but you guys are missing out. It’s a place you’ll never find without the right connections; hue, you’ll be drowning in frustration with only your hands to help you, huehue.”

Yes, that was my original plan: we were just going to drink to kill time and then I would take them there as a surprise.

I had planned it especially for Alexander, who had been depressed since losing Alice, but the bar had a local speciality that hit hard and ruined everything.

’Oh, wait, I can use this to lure in the biggest idiots; that way we can attack the rest. I already have Ivan, so...’

I quickly realized I could use this to my advantage, but then I realized it wasn’t necessary.

”Guys, meeting!”

Led by Iván, Mike, and others who had a special sparkle in their eyes, they gathered in a circle and discussed something.

Apparently, they’re finally using the right method: using words, reasoning, dialogue, and arguments.

I’m glad they’re not hopeless idiots.
