Urban Seduction: Housewives Club

Chapter 742: Pleading for Mercy

”Husband, my secretary just called. Thereʼs someone with the last name Zhang who wants to see me,” Li Ningxue said to Ye Fei after hanging up the phone.

”Zhang?” Ye Fei frowned slightly, then quickly realized who it was.

He thought to himself, This guy is quite clever. Even though he knows Iʼm the one behind all this, he didnʼt come to the Lingyun Society to find me. Instead, he went to the Autumn Wind Group, and heʼs playing it so humbly. Heʼs good at handling people. If Iʼm not mistaken, heʼll probably also check on Han Xiaoying, the victim from yesterday.

Perhaps disturbed by their conversation, Ye Zhilin, who was sleeping on the other side of Ye Fei, rolled over.

Her hand brushed against Ye Feiʼs still energetic member, who had been hard at work all night. She gave it a gentle squeeze and murmured, ”Husband, Ningxue sister, are you two going to practice your cultivation so early in the morning?”

Ye Fei chuckled, ”How can we practice when youʼve already grabbed my weapon? Maybe I should practice with you instead.”

”No!” Ye Zhilin exclaimed, suddenly wide awake. She quickly let go and scooted away.

Seeing her reaction, Ye Fei asked, confused, ”Whatʼs wrong? Didnʼt you enjoy it last night? You were the one who kept asking for more.”

Ye Zhilin glared at him, ”Itʼs all your fault! You were so rough with me, and now it still hurts down there!” She playfully flicked Ye Feiʼs still-hard member with her finger.

Ye Fei rolled his eyes, deciding not to engage further. He got up, started getting dressed, and asked Ye Zhilin, ”Ningxue and I need to go to the Autumn Wind Group to handle some business. Are you coming?”

”Yes, of course!” Ye Zhilin immediately shouted. Even though sheʼd been out in the world for a month, everything still felt new and exciting to her, and she wanted to be part of everything.

The three quickly got ready. Ye Fei made a point to see Gu Shishi before leaving the hotel with the two women.

In the car, Ye Zhilin, oblivious to Ye Fei and Li Ningxueʼs presence, gently touched the sore spot between her legs and asked with a pained expression, ”Husband, when will this heal?”

Since learning the term from Li Ningxue last night, she had stopped calling him Ye Fei.

”Why? Do you want to practice with me again?” Ye Fei teased.

Unlike Li Ningxue, Ye Zhilin wasnʼt shy about it. She nodded bluntly, ”Yes, it felt so good. I wish you could stay inside me all the time, but Iʼm afraid I canʼt handle it.”

”Youʼre such a little pervert!” Ye Fei joked, then reassured her, ”Donʼt worry, just use your inner energy to nurture it, and itʼll be fine by tomorrow.”

”Great! Then weʼll practice again tomorrow!” Ye Zhilin beamed.

Ye Fei shook his head helplessly and didnʼt engage further. He opened his phone and started reading the information heʼd had someone gather overnight about the official surnamed Zhang.

Since it was still early, there werenʼt many cars on the road, so they arrived at the Autumn Wind Building quickly. From a distance, they could see a crowd gathered in front of the building.

Li Ningxue didnʼt bother parking in the lot, instead stopping right next to the group.

Before the car had even come to a complete stop, a petite figure rushed over—Han Xiaoying, the apprentice Ye Fei had taken in just yesterday.

”Master,” Han Xiaoying greeted Ye Fei sweetly as he got out of the car. But when she saw Ye Zhilin step out behind him, her heart sank.

Though she had no intention of competing for Ye Feiʼs affection, she couldnʼt help but feel a twinge of disappointment. It seemed her master was surrounded by so many beautiful women, and she, a mere ”ugly duckling,” was lucky just to be his apprentice.

In truth, Han Xiaoying was being too hard on herself. In terms of looks and figure, she was only slightly less stunning than Ye Feiʼs other women.

But after being ”watered” by Ye Fei last night, both Li Ningxue and Ye Zhilin looked even more radiant than usual, making her feel inadequate.

Li Ningxue walked over and took Han Xiaoyingʼs hand, asking, ”Xiaoying, is that the official surnamed Zhang over there?” She pointed to an elderly man in the crowd. She didnʼt need to ask, as Zhang Jian was lying right next to him.

”Yes,” Han Xiaoying nodded, then hesitated before adding, ”Masterʼs wife.”

”Masterʼs wife? Weʼre almost the same age. Just call me sister,” Li Ningxue laughed, clearly amused by the title.

Ye Zhilin, ever the extrovert, chimed in, ”Hi, Iʼm Ye Zhilin. Iʼm also a ʼmasterʼs wife,ʼ but you can just call me sister too.”

Though both women were friendly, Han Xiaoying looked to Ye Fei for confirmation.

Ye Fei smiled, ”Just call them sisters. Itʼs just a title, after all.”

”Okay,” Han Xiaoying agreed, then greeted them, ”Hello, sisters.”

At that moment, the official surnamed Zhang noticed the commotion. Though he hadnʼt met Ye Fei before, he recognized Li Ningxue.

Seeing them together, he quickly realized Ye Feiʼs identity and hurried over, bowing respectfully, ”Mr. Ye, Miss Li, Iʼve come to apologize.”

Ye Fei had already reviewed the manʼs background and knew he was a decent official. Any misuse of power had been Zhang Jianʼs doing, so Ye Fei had a good impression of him. He smiled and said, ”Youʼre being too hard on yourself, Governor Zhang. All of this was that scoundrelʼs doing. It has nothing to do with you.”

Hearing this, Governor Zhang breathed a sigh of relief. He pointed to Zhang Jian, who was lying on the ground, and said, ”Iʼve brought him here. Please, Mr. Ye, decide his fate.”

Ye Fei nodded, then flicked his finger, releasing the acupoint that had kept Zhang Jian unconscious. The man slowly woke up, but his memory was still stuck on last night. When he saw the crowd around him, he was momentarily confused.

Soon, Zhang Jian spotted Li Ningxue and Ye Fei in the crowd. He didnʼt recognize Han Xiaoying, as yesterdayʼs incident had happened too quickly for him to see her face.

Realizing his situation, Zhang Jian knew he was in deep trouble. Still, he clung to a sliver of hope. Instead of standing, he crawled toward Li Ningxue, pleading pitifully, ”Ningxue, I know I was wrong. Please, give me another chance. Iʼll turn over a new leaf and take care of Grandma properly!”

Though Zhang Jian put on a pitiful act and even brought up Grandma Li, it didnʼt soften Li Ningxueʼs heart. She coldly replied, ”When you hit someone yesterday, did you think about Grandma then?”

Seeing that his act wasnʼt working, Zhang Jian finally lost hope. Desperation drove him to madness.

He pointed at Ye Fei and shouted, ”I wanted to kill your little pretty boy! What about it, Li Ningxue? Donʼt act all high and mighty. Youʼre just keeping a man behind your back. Everyone, take a good look at your esteemed CEO. Donʼt think sheʼs so pure. Who knows what she let this pretty boy do to her last night!” He directed his words at the surrounding employees.

Hearing this, the employeesʼ expressions darkened. They held great respect for Li Ningxue and didnʼt believe she was that kind of woman.

But seeing her so close to the so-called ”pretty boy” made them wonder.

Ye Fei naturally wouldnʼt let this scoundrel tarnish Li Ningxueʼs reputation. He stepped forward and kicked Zhang Jian in the mouth, silencing him before he could say anything worse.

Then he declared, ”Youʼre mistaken. Iʼm the one behind Ningxue, and weʼre in a genuine relationship. So no matter how much you scream, thereʼs no ʼbig bossʼ coming after us.”

Though Zhang Jian couldnʼt speak, he shot Ye Fei a look of disbelief, clearly unconvinced.

”Donʼt believe me?” Ye Fei sneered.

”The name ʼAutumn Wind Groupʼ was inspired by me, Ye Fei!”
