Urban Seduction: Housewives Club

Chapter 732: A Rare Physique

What kind of luck is this? Ye Fei couldnʼt help but marvel inwardly. He had discovered that Han Xiaoyingʼs physique was exceptionally unique—her meridians were naturally unblocked, a rare trait that made her a prodigy in martial arts.

If she were to practice internal energy cultivation, she could reach an extraordinary level in a remarkably short time. In other words, she was a natural martial arts genius, much like Lilya, who had been born with exceptional combat talent.

Such geniuses were one in a million, yet Ye Fei had encountered two in such a short period. It was as if fate itself had intervened.

Seeing Ye Fei holding the girlʼs hand and staring at her so intently that she was visibly embarrassed, Li Ningxue quickly coughed to get his attention.

”Ye Fei!” she called out.

Hearing her voice, Ye Fei snapped out of his astonishment, though his gaze remained fixed on Han Xiaoyingʼs delicate face. Without hesitation, he asked directly, ”Xiaoying, would you be interested in learning martial arts from me?”

”Martial arts?” The term was unfamiliar to Han Xiaoying, something she had only encountered in movies or novels, so she was momentarily stunned.

In contrast, Li Ningxue was aware that Ye Fei practiced martial arts—not just him, but even Zimao and the others. However, she was still surprised by Ye Feiʼs suggestion, wondering why he would want to teach a girl these skills.

”Thatʼs right,” Ye Fei nodded seriously.

”Xiaoyingʼs physique is extraordinary. Her meridians are naturally unblocked, and it would be a waste if she didnʼt cultivate internal energy.”

”Naturally unblocked meridians?” both women echoed, clearly unfamiliar with the concept.

”Youʼve probably read about it in martial arts novels or seen it in movies—the idea of internal energy,” Ye Fei explained.

”In reality, internal energy exists, and cultivating it is similar to whatʼs described in fiction. It involves circulating energy through the meridians to nourish the body. Most people have blocked or partially obstructed meridians, and the goal of cultivation is to unblock them, allowing more energy to flow and speeding up the cultivation process. But Xiaoyingʼs meridians are naturally open. If she cultivates internal energy, sheʼll achieve remarkable results in a very short time.”

Seeing the two women nod in understanding, Ye Fei turned back to Han Xiaoying.

”So, what do you think? Want to learn? With internal energy, youʼll gain incredible strength, making many tasks easier. You could even protect yourself from injuries, like todayʼs accident. Most importantly, internal energy can slow aging and preserve youth.”

Li Ningxue couldnʼt help but chuckle at Ye Feiʼs enthusiastic pitch, which reminded her of a wolf trying to lure a lamb. She had never seen someone recruit a disciple like this. Was he, like Confucius, fond of teaching?

In truth, Ye Fei didnʼt have a particular fondness for teaching. He was simply moved by her talent, just as he had been with Lilya. He felt it would be a waste for such a genius not to learn martial arts.

Han Xiaoying had little interest in the violent aspects of martial arts, but the thought of learning from Ye Fei and being able to see him often made the offer irresistible.

Of course, she secretly hoped for a different kind of relationship with him, but like Li Ningxue, she was easily content.

Just being near him, even if nothing else happened, was enough to make her happy.

This thought brought a faint blush to her pale cheeks as she softly called out, ”Master.”

”Excellent!” Ye Fei laughed heartily.

”You have two senior sisters—Iʼll introduce you to them later. Give me your phone number, and Iʼll send you the cultivation method. You can start practicing right away. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me anytime. As for techniques, Iʼll teach all of you together when youʼre ready.”

Hearing that Ye Fei planned to teach her through what seemed like a correspondence course, Han Xiaoying felt a twinge of disappointment.

Nevertheless, she gave him her phone number, and Ye Fei transmitted the ”Extreme Ice Cultivation Method” he had obtained from Changbai Mountain. This was an advanced method, far superior to the one he had created himself.

As for his other disciples, Song Ci and Lilya, Ye Fei had decided to teach them the Xuan Yin Art after the incident in the bar.

”Xiaoying, how is it that thereʼs such a big age gap between you and your mom?” Now that they were master and disciples, Ye Fei felt comfortable asking directly. He couldnʼt see any resemblance between Han Xiaoying and the woman he had helped, not just in age but also in appearance.

The woman had been rather plain, even in her youth, making it unlikely she could have given birth to someone as beautiful as Han Xiaoying.

”Sheʼs not my biological mother,” Han Xiaoying confirmed Ye Feiʼs suspicion. ”She was our neighbor. After my parents died in an accident, she adopted me.”

Ye Fei was pleased with her answer. When choosing disciples, he valued character as much as talent. His three disciples were all exceptional—Song Ci was naturally righteous, Lilya was inherently kind and pure, and Han Xiaoying, who had risked her life for someone who wasnʼt even her biological mother, clearly had a heart of gold.

After giving Han Xiaoying some instructions on cultivation, Ye Fei let her go. She was still a young employee, and though becoming Ye Feiʼs disciple would elevate her status, she remained humble, which only made Ye Fei admire her more.

As Han Xiaoying left, Li Ningxue turned to Ye Fei, her beautiful eyes filled with longing. Just when Ye Fei thought she was about to flirt with him, she said, ”I want to learn internal energy too!”

Ye Fei felt a pang of amusement, realizing that his earlier comment about internal energy preserving youth had struck a chord. He understood her concerns—she was older than him and worried that as she aged, she might lose her beauty and his affection.

He could empathize with her insecurities and was deeply touched. Pulling her into his arms, he smiled and said, ”Even if you hadnʼt asked, I would have taught you. And Iʼll make sure itʼs a method thatʼs comfortable and enjoyable for you.”
