Urban Seduction: Housewives Club

Chapter 708: The Dispelling of Shadows

Seeing Lilyaʼs fearful expression, not only Ye Fei, but even Li Ruonan and the other women couldnʼt help but despise that old man.

What a lovely girl she was, especially with those pure, lake-blue eyes that truly lived up to her title of ”angel.”

It was hard to believe that the old man was even human, treating her with such cruelty.

Fortunately, the old man was only interested in boxing and was impotent, or else this angel might have already been destroyed by him. However, the women couldnʼt help but sigh inwardly as they glanced at Lilyaʼs devilish figure. It wouldnʼt be long before this angel was ruined by Ye Fei himself.

Little did Ye Fei know that in the eyes of these women, he had already become the big bad wolf. At the moment, he felt nothing but pity and physical attraction towards Lilya, though that could change in the future.

After all, Lilyaʼs extreme dependence on him could easily capture any manʼs heart.

Opening the door to the room, Ye Fei stepped in first. Upon seeing Ye Fei, the old man Kain, who had been throwing things around in the room, immediately stopped. His eyes filled with terror as he stared at Ye Fei, his body trembling just like Lilyaʼs.

To Lilya, Kain was a devil, but to Kain, Ye Fei was undoubtedly a demon king. The previous night, Ye Fei had silently killed all of Kainʼs bodyguards, leaving the old man to suffer through a night of nightmares.

”Do you know why Iʼm here?” Ye Fei asked calmly, his eyes filled with killing intent.

Though Kain was no martial artist, he had been in the underworld for many years and could sense Ye Feiʼs murderous intent.

Combined with the rumors he had heard about this legendary young gang leader, he knew Ye Fei wasnʼt bluffing.

Finally, the old man broke down, his knees giving way as he knelt on the ground, begging for mercy. ”Donʼt kill me, please donʼt kill me. Iʼll give you anything you want, just spare my life.”

Ye Fei ignored Kainʼs pleas and stepped aside, allowing Lilya to enter.

”Lilya, come and see. This man is no devil, nor is he invincible. Look at him now.”

Lilya slowly walked in, her eyes fixed on the trembling old man kneeling on the floor. Memories of her past flooded her mind.

Since she could remember, she had been by Kainʼs side, but she had never known the warmth of a family. Instead, she had endured endless torment.

As a child of only four or five, she had to fight with other children, some older, for a piece of bread or a cup of milk. Being kind-hearted, she often went without, but Kain showed no sympathy.

Instead, she was met with harsh beatings and verbal abuse. Over the years, she had lost count of how many times Kain had cursed, beaten, or starved her.

In her young mind, Kain was no longer a person but a devil from hell, someone whose mere presence filled her with fear.

This fear stayed with her, even as she grew stronger. She had never thought of rebelling until Ye Fei appeared, though she still feared Kain deeply.

But now, everything was different. Seeing the man who had once loomed over her life now kneeling like the most pitiful worm, her oppressed heart soared like a bird freed from its cage.

Kain was no longer frightening to her; instead, she felt an overwhelming sense of hatred and anger for all she had endured.

Seeing the light return to Lilyaʼs eyes, Ye Fei knew his plan had worked. He spoke like a prophet, ”Go, my disciple. Your inner demon is before you. Step forward, destroy it, and your future will know no bounds.”

Lilya nodded and walked towards Kain. Her first step was hesitant, but the second was firm.

Under Kainʼs desperate gaze, Lilya approached him. Instead of hitting him, she grabbed his clothes, lifted him, and dragged him out of the room towards the central ring.

The women were puzzled by Lilyaʼs actions, but Ye Fei had already guessed what his second disciple intended. She was saying goodbye to her past. Kain had treated her as a tool for combat, and now she would end it all in the ring.

Sure enough, Lilya threw Kain onto the ring and jumped in after him. Then, the beating began. Her small, seemingly delicate fists rained down on the despicable old man with even more speed and ferocity than she had shown in her previous fights.

Fortunately, Lilya hadnʼt yet begun training in internal martial arts, and she deliberately avoided Kainʼs vital points, so the old man was still alive.

Though Song Xuan and the others knew about Lilyaʼs past as a fighter, they were still shocked by the sight of her pummeling Kain. It was hard to imagine how much this adorable girl had suffered to unleash such fury.

After nearly ten minutes of relentless beating, Lilya finally stopped. To everyoneʼs surprise, Kain was still alive.

Letting Kain go, Lilya jumped off the ring and walked over to Ye Fei, hugging his arm again. ”Master, Kain raised Lilya. Please spare him.”

This time, not only Ye Fei but the other women understood Lilyaʼs meaning. Despite everything, Kain had raised her, and she hoped Ye Fei would let him live this time.

For a moment, the women were moved by Lilyaʼs kindness. It was this innocence and compassion, preserved even in the brutal underworld, that had led her to meet Ye Fei.

Ye Fei didnʼt refuse Lilyaʼs request. He instructed Li Ruonan to arrange for Kainʼs disposal and then left with the other four women, waiting for Lilya outside.

However, as they passed through the second underground level, Song Ci stopped.

This area resembled a bar, and though Song Ci was a tough woman who had joined the underworld (the Young Girlsʼ Gang), she had never seen a place like this before.

”Master, letʼs hang out here for a while and wait for Sister Ruonan, shall we?” Song Ci tugged on Ye Feiʼs arm, her big eyes filled with pleading.

”Is this the kind of place for girls like you?”

Ye Fei thought helplessly, but after a moment of reflection, he realized that despite Song Ciʼs tough image as a girl with a rough reputation, she had never even been to a place like this. It was quite pitiful.

Besides, it was daytime—there were fewer people, and there wasnʼt any chaotic entertainment going on, so it wouldnʼt hurt to let her see it.

”Iʼll take you, but donʼt cause trouble. This is your Sister Ruonanʼs place, and once weʼre inside, we canʼt sit in the lobby. Weʼll need a private room,” Ye Fei instructed.

He knew how dangerous it could be for men around the four girls; if they sat in the lobby, peace would be out of the question.
