Urban Seduction: Housewives Club

Chapter 174: Temporary Rest

”Sure enough, you are my dear aunt, so smart.” Ye Fei said with a smile. ”Yes, I do have a plan, and maybe we can give it a try.”

”Then whatʼs the plan? Tell me quickly!” Liu Junyi said somewhat anxiously.

But Ye Fei shook his head and said, ”No, if I tell you now, you will surely give the order to set out immediately, but I donʼt want to go out today.”

”Why?” Liu Junyi didnʼt understand why Ye Fei, who had an idea, didnʼt want to eliminate the enemy as soon as possible.

”Because of you.” Ye Fei showed a concerned expression on his face. ”The way you walked just now was a bit off, and you must still be feeling uncomfortable. If we march again, it will surely be more uncomfortable, so I want you to rest for two more days.”

A blush rose on Liu Junyiʼs face, but she felt very sweet in her heart. So Ye Fei didnʼt tell the plan because of this. However, seeing his naughty smile, she couldnʼt help but say in a coquettish tone, ”Stop talking. Itʼs all your fault, you little rascal!”

”Iʼm wronged.” Ye Fei said innocently, ”If you hadnʼt asked for it four times in a row, it wouldnʼt have been like this.”

”Donʼt say that!” Liu Junyi thought of her performance last night and felt even more shy.

She pinched his arm hard and said in a coquettish tone, ”I donʼt care. Anyway, itʼs all your fault!”

”Okay, okay, itʼs my fault, all my fault!”

Ye Fei raised his hands in surrender, but he was secretly happy. Since she could act coquettish in front of him like this, it showed that her heart was almost completely conquered by him.

So he said with a smile, ”If I did something wrong, I must make up for it. Now let me help my dear wife to rest!” Then he stood up, reached out, and hugged Liu Junyiʼs slender waist, trying to help her up.

”Youʼre crazy! What if others see us?” Liu Junyi panicked and quickly knocked away Ye Feiʼs arm around her waist.

But Ye Fei hugged her again and said with a smile, ”So what if they see us? Itʼs only natural for me to help my aunt. Who would say anything?”

”Still remember Iʼm your aunt?” Liu Junyi gave Ye Fei a white look but didnʼt object anymore. She also knew that her reaction made her seem guilty.

But thinking that Ye Fei could be so calm now, had he had such an experience before? It seemed she needed to find time to ask him.

After standing up, Liu Junyi also reached out and hugged Ye Feiʼs waist, and they walked out together.

Since they were hugging each other like this, others couldnʼt tell who was helping whom. They all thought that Ye Feiʼs injury hadnʼt healed and Liu Junyi was helping him, and several people even came over to ask if they needed help.

How strong Ye Fei was! Hugging Liu Junyiʼs waist like this, with a slight force of his arm, he had already taken on all her weight.

At this time, Liu Junyi was almost walking with her feet off the ground.

Leaning in Ye Feiʼs strong embrace, Liu Junyi felt completely at ease. She had never felt this kind of careful care before, and for a moment, she was so happy that she almost fainted.

Soon they returned to Liu Junyiʼs room. Ye Fei took off her shoes and socks, let her lie down, sat down beside the bed, took one of her small hands pressed it against his face, and said softly, ”You didnʼt sleep much last night. Take a nap now.”

”Okay.”

Liu Junyi nodded obediently. She thought that he was the one who ”exerted himself” last night, and he must be tired too, so she said, ”You should also go and rest. Iʼll be fine by myself.”

But Ye Fei didnʼt leave. He still sat there and said with a smile, ”I donʼt need to rest. Iʼll just stay here with you.”

Seeing the loving light in his eyes, Liu Junyi couldnʼt help but be startled and said hurriedly, ”I really canʼt do it. Itʼs still a bit numb there. Can we talk about it after I rest?”

Ye Fei was stunned at first, and then he understood what she meant. He said with a smile, ”Donʼt worry. Before you recover, I wonʼt do anything out of line. I love you for who you are, not just your body, you know?”

Liu Junyi nodded happily, but still urged him, ”Youʼd better go back. You are already a hero in the special forces. Once the news of your injury spreads, someone will surely come to see you. It wonʼt be good if they see us like this.”

As soon as Liu Junyi finished speaking, they heard someone shouting ”Report” from outside. From the voice, both of them knew it was Zhang Qiang. Liu Junyi asked, ”Captain Zhang, whatʼs the matter?”

”Nothing. I just heard that Ye Fei was injured, and I wanted to see him.” Zhang Qiangʼs voice came from outside.

Liu Junyi gave Ye Fei a look, meaning ”See? I was right.”

Ye Fei smiled wryly and whispered, ”Why did I have to be a hero? Now I canʼt even stay with my wife in peace.” Then he shouted to the outside, ”Uncle Zhang, Iʼm fine. Wait for me a moment. Iʼll come out right away.”

Standing up, Ye Fei bent down and kissed Liu Junyi on the lips again before striding to the door, opening it, and walking out.

Looking at Ye Feiʼs tall and mature back without any childishness, a trace of infatuation flashed in Liu Junyiʼs eyes. She smiled sweetly and soon fell asleep.

When Ye Fei walked out the door, he saw that there were quite a few people following Zhang Qiang, so he said with a smile, ”Iʼm fine. Iʼm sorry to have worried you all.”

Zhang Qiang said seriously, ”What you said is wrong. You got injured while saving us. Everyone is very grateful to you. Whatʼs wrong with caring about you?”

”I am also a member of the special forces now. We are all comrades-in-arms, and itʼs natural for us to help each other. I believe if I am in danger, everyone will surely risk their lives to save me.”

When he said this, Ye Feiʼs face turned a bit gloomy. ”Just like Uncle Li. Itʼs because of saving me that he ended up like this.”

When it came to Li Yun, Zhang Qiangʼs face also looked a bit sad. They had been together since they joined the army, and they were closer than real brothers.

Now, knowing that Li Yun might become a cripple in the future, how could he be happy? But to not put too much pressure on Ye Fei, he forced a smile and said, ”If Lao Li knew he saved a hero like you, he would surely be very proud!”

Ye Fei nodded and said, ”Maybe. But he has to endure the pain for a few more days. Uncle Zhang, donʼt worry. When we return to Wang Hai City, I will make Uncle Li better!”

Zhang Qiang couldnʼt help but smile wryly. He had also seen Li Yunʼs injury and was certain that he couldnʼt recover.

Perhaps only Ye Fei, who had never seen such an injury before, could have so much confidence.

But he didnʼt want to discourage him, so he changed the topic and said, ”Letʼs not talk about this.

After hearing about your super strength from those of us who witnessed it, the brothers all admire you very much and want to invite you for a drink. I wonder if you would do us the honor?”

Ye Fei said with a smile, ”What honor or not? I said we are comrades-in-arms, and all of you have much higher ranks than me, a recruit. It should be me inviting you.”

Seeing that he had no air at all, the special forces members liked him even more and said with smiles, ”No matter who invites whom, anyway, we must have a good drink today!”

”Okay, letʼs drink to our heartʼs content.”

Ye Fei also laughed out loud, and then lowered his voice and said, ”Letʼs go quickly. If my aunt catches us, we wonʼt be able to drink. She doesnʼt allow me to drink.”

Everyone also showed understanding smiles and escorted Ye Fei out of the compound together.

They walked north out of the military compound, and not far away there was a small town. Their destination was a small restaurant in the town.

When they arrived, they found there were already quite a few people there, and there was not enough space inside the house. The boss had to move all the tables outside and borrowed several more from the neighbors to seat them all.
